~Just Relax & Accept The Crazy~

hahaha- Good morning my crafty friends, and all my
amazing cyber friends! :)

I have a fun little card I created yesterday to share....
it is called "Just Relax & Accept The Crazy" LOL It is definitely a card
I made for a girlfriend of mine.
One who really gets my sense of humor LOL
The stamped sentiment is from the Pink By Design set ATTITUDE!
You have to check them out, they are PERFECT!
100% Pinky approved LOL Plus the owner is a doll.
They sold out right away the first print.
And the card itself is 100% from the Scraptastic Kit Club
the most amazing kit club, I love them!
I thought the "Two Best Friends" tag and the wooden potty people
tied in the "Accept The Crazy" with friendship...just a fun cute card! :)
I used the add-on kit with the fun tape, I love that tape.

Ok I know I sound like an advertisement today, but this one I just made on my own
I wanted to and I love those companies :)
I am off to see a sweet friend's daughter in gymnastics today!
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone! MUAH!!! :)

Unity Stamp, with a Stickle edge, Clearsnap inks too,

~Love & Friends~

Good morning my crafty friends,

No crafts today, as I am busy finishing up the prep work for my new
Holiday Card class coming this week.

But I have had a fun weekend with friends. :)
I found this online-

a real friend is patient and kind. she does not envy, she does not boast, she is not proud. a real friend does not dishonor others, and she is not self-seeking. she certainly is not easily angered by your blumbering words and she just doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. a real friend does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. she always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

who are your real friends?

So what is a friend to me?

Someone takes my son driving (risking her own life) because it terrifies me!

Someone who explains before 10am what WTP is and know exactly why I asked.

Someone who volunteers to take my very muddy boys home from baseball because I have a new car.

Someone who listens to a 15 page text when they just ask "How are you?".

Someone who laughs about you throwing up and reminds you of it months later!

Someone who thinks it's funny when you flip them the bird.

Someone who understands the need for profanity on those "days".

Someone who understands when you are having a bad day and excuses your grumpiness. They don't take it personally because they know not every day is peaches and rainbows with fairies.

Someone who sits with you while you whine and offers an ear every time.

Someone who loves your kids almost as much as you do, even though all kids can be a handful.

Someone who points out your unique specialness when you are the hardest on yourself. And they aren’t patronizing you. They mean it.

Someone who you can trust to have your back no matter what.
And you know they expect the same from you and that's why it works. :)

This Sunday I am especially thankful for those tried and true friends who are amazing and fun.
I am a lucky gal to have not only friends like that but a hubs like that too.

It's a good day~

~Butterflies & Crafting~

Good morning my friends,
I had to share a couple photos of my very gentle giant of a son
Justice, who found a "butterfly" I suspect it might be a moth.
With a broken wing, he was screaming for me to get my camera.
It was simply adorable.
He was just enamored and so gentle, it was sweet.
I was thankful for my new camera.
Fun stuff!
Anyways on to crafts... :)

I made this tri-fold frame using my Bind-It-All and the beautiful
"Noted" kit from the Scraptastic Club, you can find a tutorial for it on the
I just used Chipboard and my Bind-It-All to create the pages.
Fun little project! :)

I had so much fun making it and this is the kit I used.

~Tag Mini Album~

Good morning my friends!!

I hope your Labor Day weekend was amazing! :)
We had the most fun this weekend with friends, and heading into Nashville.

Anyways...first of all I want to share this mini album, then I will
tell about Nashville. I made this fun Tag Mini Album using the new
Basically I took some chipboard I got from my friend Jennifer Priest,
and I trimmed it out into tag shapes (just using my scissors)

After I covered each page using the kit.
I used my Zutter Bind-It-All to create the album.

I had so much fun making it and this is the kit I used.

It was a fun kit! You can find the kit here.

Now onto the weekend, we went into Nashville (which is rare) and
went to a restaurant called "Dick's" which is where basically you pay
to be insulted LOL It was inappropriate for me to post on my blog
very adult. The food was so so but it was a fun experience none-the-less.
Cannot post the photos because they were a little graphic, but
The waiters did say Strawberry Shortcake pooped on my head...
that was funny LOL

Then (since it was next door) we went to Coyote Ugly...
totally not NEARLY as nice as the movie LOL
Very ghetto and run down, but hey, when your next door you gotta go!
It was a fun time and I had a great time with friends.

Monday we headed for a long lunch with friends,
it was a great weekend, nice and refreshing.
Now back to reality!

~Stamping On Fabric- Fabric Card Tutorial~

Good morning my crafty friends! :)

I have a fun post today, you know I am designing with Avocado Arts
and I thought it would be fund to do something a little funky this time around
and just dive in and make a fabric card.
You might recognize the fabric from yesterday's Rice Bag Tutorial post,
I really thought it was perfect for the Grateful Season-
Avocado Arts Stamp set I am using.

So here is what I did:
Step 1. Using creamy ink (not a dryer ink it needs to have liquid) & Grateful Season
stamps from Avocado Arts- lay fabric onto hard surface, and stamp directly onto fabric.
    Press firmly.
*tip* make sure plenty of ink is applied to stamp*
Step 2. After it dries for 5 minutes, using very sharp and micro tipped sheers
cut stamped images out. IF you use fabric bond you could cut on machine using
SVG/cut files from Avocado Arts. I prefer to hand cut fabric.
Step 3. Trim out 4.5X6" paper for card base.
Step 4. Trim out 5.5X4" paper.
Step 5. Adhere fabric to paper from step 4.
Step 6. Trim adhered fabric using paper as cutting guide to get it nice and even.
Step 7. Using sewing machine stick around adhered fabric from step 6.
    The paper gives it stability.
Step 8. Adhere stitched paper onto paper from step 3.

Step 9. Using Beacon 3N1 or strong versatile glue, adhere stamped images onto
    card as shown below.
Step 10. For the sentiment I followed steps 1 through 8 using the sentiment stamp.
Revising size of cuts to match sentiment.
Step 11. Adhere sentiment to card.
Step 12. Take leftover strip of fabric, run through fingers to fray and create bow.
Step 13. Adhere bow to card.
Step 14. Apply lace to card and stitch.
Step 15. Adhere card to full size card base.
    That's it! A beautiful fabric card! :)
