~More Christmas Card Fun??!!~

Good morning my friends....
boys Christmas just sneaks up on ya....so close and I have yet to
send out one card! LOL I did finish my shopping this weekend.

I have 2 more cards today. I actually have a pile of cards
but have not sent them out just yet.

This one is from Cosmo Cricket papers and I coated the snowflake
with Clearsnap Ultra Fine glitter (I love that stuff).

And this one I made my own stencil, then used Clearsnap Smooch Spritz
to create the background from creamy white Momenta cardstock.

It's very subtle but in person it's so rich.

On a side note I cannot wait to share brand new releases from CHA
Oh boy I have some fun ones coming up! Supah Rad! haha
~Happy Monday my friends~
It's the last few days before school gets out and I am going to pack
in the crafting until Friday. OHHH and don't forget Wednesday is the
Samantha Walker monthly Creative Blog Hop...stay tuned!

~Having Fun With Scrapping, Relaxed Style!~

Good morning my crafty friends! You all amaze me!!
I was blog hopping the other day between baseball practices and
wow there is some major talent out there!

I have so much fun scrapping and I never take it seriously.
For me my scrapbooking is a diary of my life and the life of my loved ones.

Today is the same...
At Tally Scrapper we play Survivor and we have so much fun with it.
This week the challenge was from Nikki and she challenged us to use
a Z-Word title that could only be 3 words....well it just so happens her
last name is ZIMMER!
So I had fun with it and took this VERY mischievous photo
*don't worry I edited it for anyone who might be offended!*
and made this layout that is titled (with ONLY 3 words LOL)
Zimmer, Nikki Sucks! hahaha
Don't worry I told her about it before I made it and we had a great laugh!
I love the layout and its going to be a fantastic memory when
I look back at my pages!
Sorry if I offended anyone, I just had to share! :)
If you want to see the unedited version head on over to Tally,
and point me while you are there! LOL This is a contest I can't win you know
so any points are appreciated! LOL
Here is a link

Happy Saturday everyone! Thanks for having a great sense
of humor with me and bearing with my silly scrap fun! :)
I love ya for it!

Oh and this is the NEW Upcycle paper from Cosmo Cricket!
I dont think we should tell them I made this layout LOL

♥~Hello Saturday, You Are Loved~♥

Good morning my amazingly talented friends,
you are LOVED by me ♥

I wanted to thank you all for the comments yesterday and clear
up a question repeated all day yesterday...
My favorite color LOL
It is not pink but to be perfectly honest, I have no favorite color
I love so many colors...I cannot decide.

I have a fun layout I made this week.
You know I am trying to fill this 8.5X11 album I have
and I do love making this size.

I have had this picture for a while now and have
been dying to scrap it! I RARELY get the opportunity to scrap a girl,
let alone a baby girl! I might have to send this to her mother :) My SIL.
I used Cosmo Cricket Togetherness line
because this is a Purple Cows project.
You just might see it on the Purple Cows site! :)
I also used my Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro...and speaking of
Glue Arts...I did not know they made a Glue Glider Max!
I am going to have to hunt one down and review it,
see how awesome it is?! Has anyone out there used it?
Let me know, I want to hear~

I am so excited this morning....yesterday I sent in my first
official magazine publication project!

They contacted me on Thursday night.
So, if you want to see it in person you can look in the
June/July issue of the new Cricut Magazine
I hope this is the first of many and it does encourage me to submit!
I have to admit I suck at submitting...but that's going to change now!

Oh and I wanted to thank you all for the fun comments yesterday.
I had a ball reading them and it was a fun post, Imaginisce
really makes me so happy!

~I hope you have a wonderful Saturday,
sending beautiful thoughts your way~

~Monday...really? Time to scrap!~

Morning! :)

Is it really Monday?
Man it seems like the weekend just flew by.
Hubby worked all weekend, and I stayed by
the sewing machine and scrap paper!

This morning I woke up and made some Snickerdoodles,
then decided to scrap a page for fun.
These are the pictures hubby said...
"Those are keepers honey, save them for his
dating years!" hahaha
You know, no pressure, no commitments
just fun! For me and the boys.
While I was in Kentucky teaching, the Little Yellow Bicycle
teacher came over and gave me some papers in a kit.
We traded! And I loved it!
So I decided to finally use those papers.
This is some of the first LYB paper I have had and
I LOVE THEM!!!!! OMG the texture and the colors make
me swoon. I am SOOOOO getting more!
I hope they are at CHA in Chicago next month, so I
cane see them in person!

Back to baking I go.
I hope you have a great Monday,
thanks for popping by to say hi.

~Blog hopping fun and more card making....

Good morning all you multi-talented crafters out there.
Happy SUMMER! It is so hot this week in TN.
We have had a heat index anywhere from 100 to 114.

Yesterday I posted about the Clear Scraps Blog Hop
HERE
It is a SCAVENGER HUNT Blog Hop
and the question about me is on my chickens
I thought I would give you a clue.
The post on my chickens is just a few posts down :)

Since I received my Cricut Expression I've been playing
alot with it and it's official, I LOVE my Cricut! Here is another card I made this week
using my Cricut and the Accent Essentials Cartridge
that came with it.
And of course my handy dandy Helmar ZAPDOTS! hehe
You didn't think I would make a card without the Helmar did ya?
The card is simple I know but I cannot seem to get past the
simple cards. Any suggestions for me on making fancy
elegant cards?? I get stumped and stick with simple.
Not sure why?

Don't get me wrong I like the card and the little girl
I gave it to loved it (well her mom did LOL)
But I want to make fancy cards!

Ok one more thing....it's official!
I am going to SUMMER CHA in Chicago!!!!
I am so excited, hubby took the time off work yesterday and
we are booking the tickets this week!
So look for me, I will be there from Monday to Thursday.
I hope to see you there!!!!!
I will be at the Helmar booth of course, and
I think guest DT spot at the Imaginisce booth.
And possibly at the Clear Scraps booth as well.

Now, I am off to clean, bake and try to stay cool today.
These boys, I love them so much but they are driving me
batty! LOL Let's hope it cools next week!

~Thanks for popping by, I love seeing your comments,
I smile every time!~
~Have a great Tuesday~

~More Reveals, More SVG's, and More Chickens! hehehe~

Morning all my lovely friends,
yesterday was so busy. The boys were all home
and they managed to dig out halfway around the house,
can I just say it is SO nice to have boys to help out with the outside work!

This is another layout I made for the April Kit with SFTIO
And I loved every second of it! LOL You know why right?
Because of the sewing section in this kit!I inked the chipboard scissors and glittered the edges using the Helmar V2 Spray Adhesive
then I wanted to actually use thread on the spool, so I inked the ends
and sprayed a little V2 on the spool and wrapped real thread all around it.
I don't know if you can see or not

I think this Cosmo Cricket Alphabet is now my FAVORITE alphabet
I will buy these over Thickers even, I loved them so much.
I wish I had known the faux stitching technique then LOL I would have used it
instead of stitching...but I did stitch underneath the page, it's peeking out somewhere.

And a quick update on the chicken coop...
The roof is officially ON!!!!!
That's my men working on the roof, now we just need to build
the nests and perches, doors and heck...so much more LOL
But I had to share my chicken journey with y'all!

Don't forget the RAK (Giveaway) from yesterday!
RIGHT HERE!

And a few more SVG's I worked on yesterday,
the brand and berry branch are one piece so very convenient!
Just click the picture for the file download.

Now off to get the oldest boy glasses today,
finish the coop, a baseball practice and grocery shopping!
Should be another busy family day~

~Thank YOU for stopping by and saying hi~
I so appreciate every one of you!
~Have a great Saturday~

~Sunday is here, and so is crop time~

Good morning my lovely friends,
I had such a nice day yesterday, we went to the library...
we spent the day as a family shopping, cooking, laughing.
It was a good day.

To top it all off Fiskateers is hosting a crop
so I went ahead and got out my tools and started playing along.
I made these recipe cards using October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket.I love making recipe cards but in order to fit into my box I need them
one dimensional...but I added some dimension anyways LOL
Here are 2 cards I made for the crop.
They are the LUCY BIRD line from Imaginisce. Now I do not even come close to claiming I am a card maker
but I like them, they are fun and cute plus they were just for me
no DT work just for fun so no pressure :)

Hope your weekend is amazing and you spend it with
someone or someone(s) special.

TOMORROW!! I am so excited for tomorrow!
not only is the NEW Sketch challenge for Imaginisce going to be posted
BUT the new Kit for Scrapbooking From the Inside Out
and my reveals! They wore me out this time, very intense so I am
excited to share!
Back to the family for me :)

~Have a beautiful day~

Afternoon all your beautiful crafty people!
Thanksgiving through Christmas, it tis the season for recipe sharing!
Here is another cute gift idea...

Of course I used COSMO CRICKET for these
I am always inspired by Cosmo Cricket and they go hand in hand
with Purple Cows.
I also used the LAMINATOR! from Purple Cows
These make great personalized hand made gifts, that are not terribly
expensive and are cute all year round.
I made these to stick right on the fridge and keep those quick and special recipes handy.

If you would like step by step instructions,
please stop by the Purple Cows Blog and print off your
PROJECT SHEET

them on your own for your friends!

~Going Green For Christmas~

We all want to recycle, upcycle, and re-use...
When Purple Cows asked me to come up with quick
holidays ideas, I went back to when I first begin scrapbooking
I love covering old CD's, remember when all the internet
companies sent out millions? They don't as much anymore but
I still have tons of old CD's to recycle.
They make GREAT gift card holders to hang on the tree.If you want the step by step on these, check out
the Project Sheets on the Purple Cows blog!
You can easily make these for yourself!
I am using mine for the teachers this year,
sticking gift cards in for photo developing or anything
else the class might need.
~Thank you for stopping by today!~
~Happy HOLIDAYS to you and yours~
I wish I could bake you all goodies and mail them out
Today I begin the platters I make for all the neighbors,
fudge, sugar cookies, snicker doodles, chocolate chip cookies,
rice crispy treats, and possibly home made bread too!
Oh and the ever present Banana bread as well...
I love Christmas and the baking!

~Have a great Friday~
~Love to all~

~Tuesday Tags....easy to make, fun to give~

I love making tags for Christmas...
I was fortunate this year, that Purple Cows sent me these products
asked me to make a few tags with the products sent,
and post full instructions on how to make them using the Laminator OR
the super cool handy dandy CLEAR SCRAPS acrylic sheets!
Which I LOVE LOVE!
So here they are,
these are using Clear Scraps but you would just as easily use
laminated sheets.
You can find the published blog here

and the printable instruction sheet here

This one is a laminate sheet using LACE PAPER inside.
It is very 3-D but with no sun and my light box in the mail...
well it is what it is LOL
*Side Note* Don't-cha LOVE the Jolly by Golly line from Cosmo Cricket?!
The cardstock stickers on these are all Jolly by Golly
They are not Tim Holtz Tags...but I am working on those! hehe

I have been so lucky this week, not only with the Helmar Blog

~Happy Tuesday ..Puppies Galore...Woohoo I hit 200!!~

Good morning bloggers!
I was able to sit down last night and begin working on
the boys costumes...they were so sweet this year.
I told them we were moving and I was not going to be able to make the elaborate
costumes I usually make for the entire family, so they
sat together and voted on being puppies this year!
Easy enough right? Some fleece, some sweat pants and a beanie!
Warm, easy and functional!Plus my sweet boys are tickled about the hats!

I also wanted to scrap yesterday but not for anyone but myself,
so I sat down with My Little Shoebox and Cosmo Cricket...
dear friends of mine LOL
and made this page....
I wish it had been sunny and not pouring rain so I could have captured a better
shot of it! It's so much prettier in person!

And one more little thing!!!!!
OK OK BIG THING!
I got the email from Purple Cows saying that in one week,
