Good morning my crafty world friends....

I have one last reveal for SFTIO this

month then I am fini~

I love scrapbooking 8X10 pictures or very large ones,

so I decided to blow up this picture I took in

the chicken coop, looking down at the nest.

I wish I could have gotten a better picture of the LO

it is so pretty in person!

I painted, I layered...everything fun! :)

In case you cannot read it, it says "Purposeful Living"

I even pulled a couple chicken feathers from the yard and

put them underneath the awesome chipboard that said "Fresh Eggs"

I am making the blog quick today because I have

so much to do this week.

And I woke up terribly sick this morning.

~Hello Sunday My Sweet Friend~

Happy Sunday y'all.

We are spending this Sunday morning

snacking on home made cinnamon rolls and relaxing.

It's beautiful outside, I love fall.

I have another reveals today from

SFTIO's October Purpose Kit.

Since the theme was Purpose of course I had

to make a layout about my children, my purpose.

I love the Crate Paper they mixed with the Steampunk

line, it was a very unique combination.

I used alot of paint on these layouts, I dug out the gold

Folk Art Paint and splashed it all over this page, I also

painted all the alphas I put on the pages.

Have you seen the new EXTREME Glitter paint from Plaid/Mod Podge?

OMG I am so excited to find it and I am working on a project today with it!

Good morning, it is Labor Day weekend

and I am dreaming of a pool! LOL

Another day of reveals here from Scrapbooking From The Inside Out

and if you have not checked out this kit you should.

It truly is BEAUTIFUL!

You know the theme was Enlightenment,

I love how accepting everyone is at SFTIO of each individual

take on the theme.

You know I scrap so many sizes now, I need to make

different albums I guess.

This photo is a picture I snapped in TN on vacation

we stopped at several cemeteries and this was so amazing

I had to snap a few shots. Something in the peaceful beauty

of this statue that gave me faith.

Seeing her leaning on the cross left me speechless.

Journaling:
It’s so hard for me to explain to other crafters that when I scrap about my

life or the abuse in my past I am not angry or reliving the experience again and again.
No, it’s not that at all, in fact it is the opposite.

For me it is a constant self awareness that reminds me to appreciate

every single moment of every single day.

It’s also important to me to always be able to speak out LOUD & PROUD.
After living 20 years under a blanket of shame and everyone else’s secrets,

it’s time for me to be completely open and self aware.

~New Reveal, Ruby Rock It Winner, Friday Fun!~

Good morning!!!!!! Happy Friday!

I am so happy this week is over, its been a good week

but I am so tired!

I know I usually begin my Scrapbooking From The Inside Out

reveals on the 1st but so much has come up.

The kit theme this month was ENLIGHTENMENT

which I really struggled with.

But I did manage my 5 layouts and I am happy with them.

You know it used to be I would be unhappy

with every 4th or 5th layout, now it's more like every 12th.

Which I realized this week! *yea* about being

more confident and satisfied :)

For this LO I used 100% SFTIO kit except the amazing

PK Glitz glitter and my Helmar V-2 glue.

I hate to say or scrap that I am so "enlightened" because

frankly I am not. But being pregnant was one of the most

amazing journeys ever. So I scrapped that.

Here is one of the only photos I have when I was pregnant.

Ahhh...memories :)

I spent most of the last few days sewing custom orders

but I did have 2 dresses come up that were not sold.

If you know anyone who wants this BEAUTIFUL dress

let me know! :) It is after all a PINKY original!

I CAN ADD STRAPS! I usually wait until it is ordered to add them

Love this layout....love the colors and the fan what a great touch...I used to make those all the time when I was a kid...I may have to lift this one!!! Hope the sick boy feels better soon!!

Morning!
Well, it felt like I was never going to be
finished with this mini album but I am!
*This is day 2 of the school year and momma is going to
take a girly day!*

I think it took me longer to photograph
it then make the darn thing LOL

The album is a Clear Scraps mini album

On the cover I used my French Manor Cartridge
and my Cricut Expression.
See the cute gingham under the "in time"?
It is FABRIC TAPE from Love my Tapes and I am officially
"IN LOVE" I love that stuff!

Through the album I used Basic Grey papers.
And you can see the Monarch Butterfly Punch
from Martha Stewart, I love her punches!

Here I used a really old Daisy D Rub-on
and a leftover cloth brad from the August Kit from SFTIO

On this page I also used more from the SFTIO kit,
including the brown stamp *see I do stamp! LOL*
The alphas were also from the kit.

Using the theme from the cover I used more sewing
patterns to create this flower. Also another fabric
brad from SFTIO kit. I threw in some vintage lace.

This is all Basic Grey, their stickers were so yummy!

Some twill I had and another Basic Grey sticker

Another fabric brad and flower from SFTIO kit, also
some very OLD 7Gypsies rub-ons, I have been
hoarding them! :)

More sewing patterned paper, crinkled and ruffled.
Oh and on the lower edged some VIVA Paint pen!\
My FAVORITE product!

Here on the back
I used wide vintage lace to make the flower
and my Imaginisce i-top to make the center
with the Medium Brads. Also I used tulle that
I sprayed with Tattered Angels Coral Glimmer Mist
and I am out :( I need to find a sale I guess.

OK I am off to play my friends...

Good morning! I know I know I missed
blogging yesterday. These kids I tell ya LOL
They have worn me out!

I did work on projects yesterday, I am so
excited and I wish I could share them.
Meantime I will share my last reveal for

Don't you just love those little white vinyl letters in the kit?
One thing I love about the SFTIO kits, they always include
at least 3 sets of alphas and that is my biggest pet
peeve with kits...I need my alphas man!

Anyways to the tone of Discovery, while I was
scrapping my layouts I sort of realized that
I am getting better at trusting myself and my instincts!
So this is the layout I made about it...Finally Old Enough.
Now if I could just get rid of the crazy hormones LOL
I would be able to implement my trust every day!

Why do I always get jabbering on the reveal days?

I was feeling very artsy funky LOL

Being me, and having pink hair, and well just
being open about my childhood abuse
and my ex husband's abuse.
I always feel pressure to conform.
Slowly but surely I have learned that conformity
is just not for me. I am who I am
and I cannot change what has happened
to me so I might as well stand up and use it to
help others to see you can survive and still be
a productive adult.

In fact it has been helpful to stay true to myself.
A few years ago when I faced my past everyone told
me it would be better to be quiet and move on and
not say anything about it ever again.
But guess what? They were so wrong, it has been
so amazing and healing to be open and speak out loud.
*enough of my jabbering! LOL*

I love the idea of life being a journey,

Pinky, Hope you had an enjoyable flight to CHA. I am so glad you went my jet and not prop or even prop-jet! I once went from Chicago to Indianapolis by prop-jet. Pretty bumpy ride! My MIL was with me. We had a 5-hour layover in Chicago and when we got on the tiny plane she said, "I can't believe we waited 5 hours for this!" Everyone on the plane burst out laughing! (all 10-15 of us!)

Good morning!!!!! I have a special treat today

*shhhhh* don't tell the bosses! LOL

Dirty Scraps has their new challenge up and it's all about
"If I had Known"
I love it and it went hand in hand with my layout
for Scrapbooking From The Inside Out and their kit this month
"COURAGE"

I knew exactly what I wanted to do right away, so
I asked permission to share this early on Dirty Scraps
because the kit was so perfect for this challenge!

I love that SFTIO "gets" my scrapbooking.
I love that people are so excited about Dirty Scraps,
it has been an amazing adventure so far!

This is muy layout, it's about leaving my "family"behind
and how I was so much stronger than I thought.
I wish I had known years ago that
I did not need to take that abuse and did not
have to be with and please all those abusive family
members, I could have left sooner and I would have been OK.

It would not be my personal blog if
I did not give a shout out to my AMAZING HUBBY!
Who is 35 today and has a birthday!!
The man who is not afraid to stand strong
who works hard, who is a loving father and a kind man.
The man who sees past all my BS and somehow sees a
beautiful woman with a kind heart.
The man who looks at me every day and says
"You are so beautiful, I love you"
The man who tells each boy every night, "I love you"
as he tucks them in no matter what day it is.

Love ya honey, you make me who I am today!
I have tremendous respect for my husband and
I hope I am half the man he is when I grow up! :)

~Let me introduce you to our new chicks....blog hop coming!~

Good morning my amazingly crafty friends,

are you ready for Mothers Day?? OMG I was totally unprepared!
My husband came in the other day and said "Honey, do you know what Sunday is?"
I said "YES! We are going to the Ren FEST! Finally after 2 years I get to
see that castle" He said "NO what day is it?"
I replied..."Sunday??" hehehe I had no clue Mother's Day was this Sunday.


So I grabbed my Sassafras Lass papers and made this card for his mother.
I hope it arrives in time! Once again *Disclaimer* I am not a card maker! LOL
Now it is a running joke with hubby and I because he ass me to make so
many cards, he gets quite a laugh out of it!As broken hearted as I feel I wanted to introduce you to
our new chicks...they have not fully feathered, they are about 3 to 4 weeks
younger then our last chickens.
I spoke with several neighbors and they have
all come together so nicely and been so sweet about our loss.
Neighbors whom we have never met have stopped by and said
"So sorry about your chicks" genuinely concerned.
Anyhow....my husband had the amazing idea of not getting baby chicks,
but instead looking on Craigslist to find pullets that are a few weeks old.
Bypassing the the in house chickens...

HUGE Mistake! LOL
If you have never used Craigslist, let me just say, you are missing
out on so many crazies! LOL EVERY single time I use Craiglist
I leave hysterically laughing and amazed by who I meet!
We drove OVER and hour to meet this woman who told my husband she
was on a hill with a barn....let me tell you something...I know what a barn
is and this was NOT a barn! LOL
It looked to be 150 years old and falling off to one side.
Hubby neglected to tell me that she said "Be careful of the driveway"
As he RAMMED up the steep hill and we completely
bottomed out the minivan, he says"Oops, she said the driveway was bad"
UMMM hello??? BAD??? Honey you don't bottom out on a BAD driveway
you bottom out in a horror movie where people are going to eat you!
Right then I knew LOL.
I felt a little bit safer when a little girl ran out in nothing but
a t-shirt and rubber boots, she must have been 5 or so,
then her brother came out followed by
2 dogs and a DONKEY, yes a donkey! LOL
We left the van at the bottom of the driveway and started walking up the
long steep BAD driveway and the smell hits me.
Now mind you I am a farm girl I am by no means shocked by smells...
but this smell ...Oh my!
When I say she had over 200 chickens in her house and over 200 in pens
She proudly pointed out her "free range" chickens, which were the 50 or so
running "FREE" in the 10X 10 shed on top of garbage and tires.
With dogs and children ducking in and out.
We went inside *cough cough* ducking to get in and found her pen of pullets
and she told us these were for sale so I picked one up...
suddenly she SCREAMS OUT (and I so mean screams) NOOOOOOOOO
NOOOOOOO as I freak out and drop the poor chick on it's head
and she says calm as can be "Not her she is not for sale"
LORDY woman gave me a heart attack!

I am telling you I dd not pick up one dang chicken after that, you
could not pay me 1000.00 to pick up a chick around her ever again LOL

There is s much more than I can type and tell you, it would take
2 pages...but in the end after she spoke to the chicks about leaving
each one for at least 10 minutes, we left over 1 hour later with
10 chickens...and I like to feel we rescued those chickens.

The white headed one is the baby and she is my favorite.
I miss my calm leghorns though. They always ran to me when I came out,
these ones are more wild and it wll take time to make them calm.
It is a bittersweet day for our family.

Here's to hoping no one else feels the need
to take my chickens :) And the neighbors watch out for us
like I suspect they will from now on.

~Merry Monday, the last reveal, shaped paper SVG's!~

Happy Monday everyone!

We had an incredibly busy weekend this weekend,
hubsters got me a new toy....it is a Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower!
With a buggy for the back LOL

We also got the fence up for the chickens, hopefully today I will
be able to get some pictures, I was too busy mowing to take them yesterday LOL
Spring is definitely in the air and that makes me happy!My favorite flower the Daffodil, Oh I was so excited we have some on our property!
These beautiful pink flowers, they attract the most amazing bees!

Here is my very last reveal for the month of April &
Scrapbooking From The Inside Out.
I had an amazing time playing with the Femininity kit.This page is kind of funny to me, I did not think saying I liked attention
would be anything really, because I meant that I love attention from my husband
and how he dotes on me. BUT I was not thinking that everyone would not
think I meant it that way LOL
Oh well, I do love my husband and the attention he gives me, it's
how our relationship has lasted for so long...I love being a girl!

OK now I have some shaped paper SVG's totally inspired but this LO!
