I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.
I spent the day with a sick little man and then with my other little people.
Hubby had to work late, but it was a lovely day.
So much fun watching my 8 yr old excited about his new pocket knife.
You know ever since I got this Cricut Imagine I have been ADDICTED
to making cards! I cannot help it!
Something just clicked in my head when I saw the images I could make.
This is a cupcake image from the Better Together Imagine Cartridge,
I pieced it together with the Glue Arts UCUT pop up adhesive and
used several papers and the Jenni Bowlin Crate Paper for the ruffle.
*I know it's old school but I love it*
I also added some blingity bling with my Imaginsce i-rock and the
pretty glass gems. Oh and of course Stickles, cause I needz my bling!

This is the cutest little card and you know what - cards should be about using older styles and materials - otherwise we would all end with piles of stuff we never use anymore. That was my plan for this year at least, use up what I have instead of hoarding goodies I may use one day - but never seem too - today is that day.

Not sure what you mean by "old school", but that card sure is cute!!! Hope your little one is better. My 2 GS got knives for Christmas, and the 8 yr old loves his. Of course, he did get cut shortly after he got it, which we all told him he would - fortunately it was not bad. Kids just have to learn the hard way.
This is a really cute card, I can see why you are enjoying making them. Those lashes are to die for lol.
