Good morning my amazingly talented crafty friends!
It is no secret I LOVE fall, and I especially
love the holiday season. Time for baking, giving, enjoying
parties, all the wonderful holiday goodies!
When Samantha Walker sent me her Christmas in the Kitchen
line of paper, I about died!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew right away what I was going to do...
make COOKIE JARS!!!!!
Totally eco-friendly way to give holiday treats away.
Plus they can keep them all year long for a beautiful kitchen cookie jar!
Every year I bake cookies and treats with my boys, and we
deliver them to each neighbor on plates, but this year I thought
I would switch it up and make actual cookie jars.
I took old 1/2 gallon jars and I made labels that would be great for
any kitchen, ot even just to store away and bring out every Christmas.
Of course I used my handy dandy Glue Glider Pro, and Glue Arts
Ribbon Adhesive because they are made to last!
And you know I baked cookies just for this blog post too
hahaha!
I really did...hubs came home and said "Why are you on your feet baking??"
I replied "Honey I have a project in mind". He said "ohh ok" haha
I am thinking I will make several jars in all different lines of paper!
Maybe a video tutorial is in order? ♥
That's it for me today, I am off to teach my class in mt. Juliet!
~Happy Saturday everyone~
~THANK YOU every one who stops by~
Once again...without you I am nothing, you make it possible with
every visit for me to get great prizes and for companies to
take a second look at me, and I appreciate it!

Love it! Great job Pinky!!
I think giving food away is the best (and cheapest) way to go. Especially if you do it for neighbors. It is such a thoughtful thing to do. Maybe I will do that for my little apartment complex (6 units).
what a "sweet" thing to do & the jar is so cute
Those cookies look so YUMMY! What a cute way to package them!
This looks like a really yummy gift, beautiful idea. Would love to see a video, it seems ages since you did one.

I absolutely adore this project and that paper is perfect for it!
I really like this idea. I too like to give homemade treats at Christmas, but hate doing the same old thing.... plates, tins I buy at the dollar store. This is wonderful!
LOVE the cookie jar idea! My brother is actually the baker in our family so I'm thinking I should make HIM a couple... one for him and one for him to fill and return :)
Have fun at your class today! Wish I were there!
that is an awesome jar chick. Love it. take care of you today. hope you have a blast at your class.
OH Pinky these are so cute. I think I'm going to make these.
Love it! All these fabby baking ideas are making me hungry!
The cookies were yummy ;)
The jar is adorable in person too. I got there as she was putting the finishing touches on it.
I am doing the same thing this year for friends, family and neighbours. I am making up boxes of baked goodness. I love whipped shortbread and I make it with crushed candycane in it, plus will make some puppychow and nuts n bolts for the treat packages. I will have to "lift" this decorated bottle from you, Thanks for sharing Pinky. LOVE your ideas.
I wish I was your neighbor, but alas we are several states away. Have a good day :)
Oh that is adorable....and what a great idea for thos gift in a jar recipes too!
I love the Holidays too! What a wonderful time of the year. I wish it lasted longer! The cookie jar is cute!
Fantastic job! Those jars are gorgeous.
I just made snickerdoodles the other day. ;)
Yummy! I think it's time to start baking! TFS
This is beautiful! What a wonderful gift idea.
Very cool! Wishing that I were close enough to get one as a neighbor. LOL!
I wanna be your neighbor, great job!

This is such a cute idea!!!! Besides the jar looking good...those cookies look very yummy!
I'm doing this this year also, except with cookie MIXES. 1)I'm generally lazy and the idea of baking cookies for 20 families does not entice me. 2)They can choose when to have the cookies if I bring a mix; I HATE stale cookies! I really like this particular paper line you used... think I'm gonna have to go hunt some up!
Beautiful - I love your jar and the cookies look YUMMO!!
