1) Link back to the person who tagged you.
2) Post these rules on yout blog.

In Tennessee and doing just fine!

Well, we made it to Nashville just fine and left a day early. Although our items just arrived this evening so I have about 2 months of unpacking to do!! *OH MY*

The house is wonderful and of course TN is beautiful.

On another note. I found a Guest judge and have found a few sponsors for Just Scrappin' so in the next couple months we should be having some fun contests and swaps going on.

I know its small now but we have over 30 members and many very active members, at least 15 to 20 a day! not bad for less then 2 months old!

I have applied to a few sponsors so we will see what kind of kits and prizes I will find woohoo!!

If you want a small scrappy space with no drama and just some unbiased clean fun chat. Then come on by and check it out. Its not all scrappy chat, lots of really nice friendly girls in there and a real good group of kind women.

We will most likely be moving to a bigger board in the next 3 months but as always i will keep ya updated.

Have a great day from Nashville!!!!! ~Pinky~

Off to Nashville I go

Another page for my sister's album
Older Daisy D paper, my cuttlebug Pailsey embossing folder, some Queen and CO felt
and an arm falling off worth of stamping! LOL

I managed to squeeze out one more Layout this weekend, before packing my Scrap Booking stuff away and hiding them behind boxes from myself! I kept making a mess while trying to pack, so this time I put them all behind other boxes so it would be a great effort to take them out.
This one I lifted from a great Scrapper on Treasured Scrapbooking~ Dolores.
Well, this is the last post for me, for about a week or maybe more. I am leaving Thursday , off to Nashville! See y'all on the flip side.....Peace out~~~~~~~ hahahahaha

A Mother's Dream Come True

I have to admit, these candid shots of Andrew on the beach with the boys are my absolute favorite!!! I could not ask for a better memory as a mom then seeing my boys imitate their father who is strong and silent but moral and just a beautiful man.
I think I could snap 1000 shots and never tire of it.
I wanted the picture to speak in this LO so I left it very simple.
I love KI lace paper but have not used it as a page yet, only as embellishment on a solid page. This was fun and I truly LOVE it!!
Happy Mother's Day to everyone out there. I know I have stalkers and I love every one of ya!!

Nothing wrong with the not so new papers!

I still find much use and pleasure from "last season's" paper and embellishments, heck even the season before!!!
This is all from last years Sassafras Lass Paper. I know it might be cool to have the latest and greatest and yes it is SO much fun but I so like the classics as well.

Album for Others

Do you ever make albums for other people?
My sisters sent me about 20 or so pictures, I am about halfway done. I just finished this one yesterday.
My stepmom and step sister have the exact same eyes, it is crazy cool!
I used a ton of flowers on this one.
I hand cut the giant flower from Crate Paper the Blue Hill line. and took my sewing machine to it.
I just wanted something simple but girly and PRETTY!

I just couldn't do it.

Just could not leave my scrappy supplies well enough alone and packed up! LOL
I was so upset lastnight after having to give away my dog, I broke them out and crafted for 2 hours.
It made me realize how much of a stress reliever scrapbooking is for me.
But I am now free and clear and ready to move! Guess I will pack my scrappy supplies last! LOL
I am not exactly thrilled with this LO but I like the elements anyways. It is mostly Basic Grey Boxer paper and the seaweed are tiger lily flowers cut up.

Just can't wait, I am addicted!

I could not leave my scrappy supplies sitting there all packed up! How sad is that?
I am so addicted! LOL So I made Mother's Day Cards for My close friends and my step sister Chelsea! This one was for Denise, it was VERY simple, i wish I had taken pictures of the inside. I just used a beautiful Coach Ribbon I got for Christmas on the box! And wrapped it and covered it inside with a big flower! plain shiny Bazzill Cardstock and white ink! How simple is that?! Elegant and very easy. Since I don't have my good stuff out easy is good this week!

I have to admit though, these are nothing. I can't wait to get back to making tutorials and creating Layouts again!

Mother's Day is a nearin'

Who does not LOVE textured Cardstock? I know I do!! I also LOVE the old Heidi Swapp alphabets! I wish she was still making them, they sort of look like leather in person and I love them! Anyways this is a Mother's Day card I made for my Best Friend in WV her name is Tasha but we call her Tats. I am beginning to love that Lacy Days of summer punch but still am unsure how much I will use it. I wish it did corners.
Oh and on another side note. My blogs will be obsolete pretty soon but just for a couple weeks while I get moved! Just a few more days!

Swaps are so much FUN!

I love doing scrapbook swaps and I am in a GREAT one that goes month to month. Its called a Handmade swap. You don't expect very much just an item or two in a theme you choose. I chose earth tones and florals this month, but I have done family and brown and Black and White!
Anyways you just make a tag or a matte or something for your partner and mail it off by a certain date. My Partner wanted JOB/WORK related Days so I did these 9 to 5 Photo Matte and Journaling tag. It was fun and I love doing them!
I love that it is about being simple and no pressure, not only the latest and greatest and you don't have to go buy a BIG scrapbooking kit, you just make something personal. Fun FUN!

Mother's Day is on its way

My Mother in Law collects Elephants and Tea Pots, well I haven't quite figured out a freehand elephant yet! BUT I did figure out how to free hand a CD card Tea Pot.
One Used CD, some cardstock and embellishments and Walla!

Now off to Pack the rest of my scrap booking supplies away for a couple weeks. What am I going to do in my spare time??!! Oh well, I will be happily unpacking them in TN so who cares!! WEEHAW! ~She's Gone Country~

The Generosity of Others *Blessings*

These are the FIRST two pages to arrive from a Fellow Fiskateer for the baby Book I am making. Well I should say WE are making!! woohoo!! Hooray for Scrapping FRIENDS!
Thanks MARLA! Who made these beautiful pages

I am amazed by the generosity of Scrapbookers, I will say it again and again. It has overwhelmed me.
I gave out a call to my Fellow Fiskateers and Treasured Scrapbooking members to please help me make a 12X12 album of blank baby pages for a friend of mine who is having a miracle baby!!
She didn't think she could get pregnant and tried for years! Now she is in her 3rd trimester!

Well of course there were volunteers! And not for a RAK or anything Just because!!!

The first 2 pages arrived today! I am so blessed and happy about this! I am sure baby Savannah will be blown away as well as her mother!

Welcome NZ and scrap packing!

This is another Crate Paper Welcoming Card I made today.
This is also the day I start packing away my scrap booking supplies!
So I may not be blogging as much for a couple weeks. But then back to daily blogging and life will resume as normal!

On a side note, a scrapping friend's daughter is only 4 and was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. So disheartening and sad today. I can only imagine. I have a 4 yr old and I would be devastated and I don't even know if I could make it. So prayers today.
