Good morning my crafty friends,
Happy Veterans Day
Thank you every military person who has served
from the biggest job tot he smallest you are appreciated! ♥

Yesterday my close friend in New York called and she
updated me about her friend who has Cancer.
She had the idea of making thank you cards for her friend
so she would be able to hand out hand made cards
to the people who have been helping her and so giving to her family.
Here is the BLOG POST

So...guess what?? I STAMPED! LOL
I really am trying to get into stamping,
I am trying so hard! LOL

When D called me I sat down to make some cards
*another weak spot of mine*
I grabbed my Pyrus Kit from Scraptastic Club
Cricut Sentimentals Cartridge
and had some fun!

I love this Pyrus Kit! It is perfect for "thankful" cards,
or even fall scrapbooking. I love the fall colors.

I wanted dimension but not thick dimension because they
need to be mailed without extra cost to her, so I used my
Glue Arts Extreme Squares...hello! Perfect and my cuts won't fall off!

I know I have been talking about them alot lately, but
I am so happy with the results! Good stuff!
*no they are not paying me LOL*

Ok that is it for me today,
I have new furniture coming between 10 and 2pm. Nothing
like a set time LOL I think it's time for momma to make a hot breakfast! ♥

~Happy Hump Day *Chicken Update*~

Good morning my amazingly crafty friends,

I DO have a craft to share today but first I wanted to share

a quick chicken update.

My chickens have fans of their own you know *wink*

I never expected people would really care about the chickens

but I get weekly emails asking to please post.

So love it or not they are here to stay!

We have decided that 10 chickens just happen to be

the perfect amount for our family.

Enough eggs for us and a couple extra here and there.

However, I want to have extra to sell so the goal is 20.

Here is the next yesterday at 4pm. 8 eggs not to shabby :)

I took a couple shots of the chickens at dusk

You can see it is fall in Tennessee , and becoming chilly in the morning

but they are doing fine.

They have actually dug little holes they snuggle in during the day

I have not figured that out just yet. I have to research.

Now the boys are not happy about the cool weather because

the water freezes and they have to change it more LOL

I say "It's good for em!" Let them work, it's great to see

how real life rolls *grin*

Ok now if you are more straight laced just come back tomorrow

and read no further. But I have both very relaxed friends

and very strict friends, this one is for the more relaxed.

I am doing an ATC swap with a couple close friends

it is a "Release your inner bitch" ATC swap.

I was very inspired by these silly 50's retro tags I found

on Bluntcard.com...HILARIOUS!

Just silly and fun. Private joking fun.

Anyways here are my cards....I went VERY PINK! :)
I used my Ba Da Bing Bling (Hot Pink Momma)
you can just see it a little on the paper I used here.
I also used the Clear Scraps ATC cards (YEA acrylic!)
I just had fun and went glittery, funky, artsy, PINK!
Sometimes it is fun to let loose and go a little crazy :)

I was in my scrap room this weekend, playing

with the Pyrus Kit from Scraptastic Club and I was completely inspired.

In the last few weeks I have seen the news how

cyber bullying is affecting teens and even adults...it

got me to thinking how it is so sad when someone takes

their life from being bullied or cyber bullied.

It touched me and I decided to make a layout about it

because of course I have been bullied online by women

who are insecure and feel the need to email or send me messages

letting me know how they hate me.

It always surprises me when adult women send emails like that.

But it also makes me realize that it's not only teens and children

that are affected, it is VERY relevant to everyone in today's society.

I am so blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends and support

but I think of all the people who are not, and even movie stars who

get butchered in the press by bullying.

So in true PINKY fashion I scrapped it!!!!!! :)

Yes, I still scrap it all, no matter what.

Because my scrapbooking is my life diary.

Maybe my children will look back on my pages and see what

happened in my life and how I saw it, and it will

give them peace and hope.

~Acrylic Album + Tomorrow is the BLOG HOP!!~

Good morning!!!!!!

I had a weird and rough cake night last night LOL
I am baking not one but 2 cakes for the school sale.

Let's just say baking at 2am is not my forte'. haha

I finally got all the album pictures uploaded for the class

I am teaching next weekend. I had so much

glittery fun with this awesome Clear Scraps Mixable album!

This is 100% Imaginisce Cottage Christmas

I love the wintery line, it is not only for Christmas

but the snowy moments of winter.

I used alot of Mod Podge (Mod Podge Rock!)

for the glittering.

My awesome i-rock & i-top (will be demo-ing those in class)

And a TON of Glitter!!!!!!!!

Oh and the amazing Glue Arts Glue for the paper,

and the Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive for the lace, pearls! *WOOT*

Oh and a couple Christmas Stamps. I am not a stamper but

I am trying to be, maybe I can fake it LOL

~Basic Grey Pyrus Kit Fun!~

Good morning my amazingly talented friends.

I just love every season, and fall is no exception.

I love the crisp cool mornings with the sun glittering

through the orange and red trees with the slightest bit of

fog hovering over the fields ♥

And breaking out the BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I received my Pyrus Kit from Scraptastic Club

I knew I wanted to scrap the boots babay!

Almost everything on this page is from the kit

and it is a fun kit to work with!

You know I am guest DT this month, it was a random

fun request that came in a couple weeks ago.

♥♥ I loved the embellishments (which include hand made embellies)

and the fun Basic Grey Pyrus feel.

Here I used the EXTREME Glue from Glue Arts to tack it down

and for dimension I used the 3-D combo pack you cut your own size

so there is no waste and nothing falls off later on! *BONUS YEA*

Did you know Glue Arts paired with Imaginisce?

Imaginisce LOVES Glue Arts and so do I!

Ok enough plugging right? LOL

Anyways I and just excited because I

had alot of FUN scrapbooking this page and cannot

~It's the 1st again! Time for prizes and sketch challenge!~

Good morning!!!!!!!!!!

It is the first, I am so happy November has arrived.

For me it means that family time, baking, nights with friends,

warm parties, and cookies for all the neighbors...well that time has arrived.

I drove my son to school this morning and we chatted about

our annual Christmas party and how we will celebrate Thanksgiving

while we watched the orange and red leaves blow across the road.

*Perfectly lovely*

We had a very rough Halloween (which is why I did not blog)

My youngest son was VERY sick and I was home all night with

him on his little nebulizer machine. BUT when I thought it was

just going to feel down, my friend unexpectedly showed up

bringing with her a DOOR, and a bag of candy so my youngest could

reverse Trick Or Treat,

it was so sweet and made him so happy. *YEA*

♥ We are very blessed in the Hobbs house ♥

Ok on to the crafty goodness that awaits.

As you know Imaginisce has a sketch challenge EVERY MONTH!

I use the Ribbon Adhesive from Glue Arts and let me tell

you it was AWESOME!!!!!! No more hot glue for me on pages

and no more clumpy messes! I just stuck it down and it was straight

and perfect...thank YOU Glue Arts for my new pearl adhesive!

I really just wanted to keep it all about the photos, simple

and sweet with enough pink to make it fun!

I am not a big sketch chickita banana, but I had fun and it

gave me something to do besides sit with the sick little man :)
