First of all a very spring-y card, then a spring filled layout!~

For this card I used the Heidi Collection, and the Ornate Artisan

Spellbinder dies. I love the amazing vibrant colors, puts me in the mood

for spring flowers and fun with friends in the sun.

I also used some vintage lace behind the die.

And for this digital layout I used the Cottontail Digital kits,

and some photos I took of sweet Payton this weekend.

Love that child, I am so blessed to have great friends with sweet children.

I really am enjoying both paper and digi world, I hope you are too.

~More Avocado Arts Fun + BIG Announcement!!~

Good morning my friends,

I have one more card to share with the fun Sew Nice

stamps from Avocado Arts this month.

I wanted to make a very luscious and soft rich card, so I used

the Tally Scrapper April Kit with the Webster's Pages papers in it.

And used the flower as a lacy background stamp,

and the random stitching line stamp as the bee's trail.

I truly love this card! LOVE IT! haha

I also made buttons from the stamps and tucked them under

the sentiment. This card is going to a very special friend.

a great year for NEW and exciting projects.

Good morning my friends, I am pushing my other Avocado Arts

project to tomorrow because today I have a special BLOG HOP going on.

When they sent me this piece of fabric I had no idea what

in the world I was going to do with it, but then it came to me.

Why not make a sweet little "My Hero" Card for hubby.

Clearly no one in my house has a problem with PINK LOL so I

just went for the whole she-bang.

The buttons were specially dyed to match the fabric, and

it was a fun card to make.

Ok on to the chicken update, you know we recently lost chickens

due to a coyote or fox, anyways we got 18 more and on Easter we

put 15 of them into the chicken yard, they were so cute!

I suspect we will lose about 5 more because they appear to be roosters.

But for now we will see what happens.
And we had to kick poor Roo out of his yard, so he would not pick

on and peck the babies...he is really not happy LOL
It's funny because he is not mean but he was so mad I was chasing

him with the camera, he kept running away but I managed to

grab a few good shots~

And my favorite part of the year by far...the part where

the chicken trail return! :) I love it~

Now if that don't make you smile I don't know what will!

Good morning & Happy Easter my crafty friends,

I have been so blessed to be the Guest Designer for Avocado Arts

this month, today and tomorrow I will be sharing a card

using the April Stamp set Sew Nice, here is the first one.

What a fun and beautiful stamp set, I really have fallen in love.

For this one I used some vintage lace I found at a flea market

and October Afternoon papers. I love the combo.

~Scissor WINNER & New Class *Online*~

Good morning my friends,

What a busy day yesterday, we ended up cleaning out the pool

Wednesday then yesterday hubs was supposed to be off but got called in

so we crammed in shopping last night.

But the good news is, I have a new toilet handle LOL and a new sink sprayer.

Joy right??! LOL

Ok I wanted to let you all be the first to know I have a NEW

online class, we will be layering and embellishing die cuts!

I am very excited, it is not a die cut machine class but rather how to

layer and embellish them and we will be making 3 projects,

an interchangeable frame, and 2 cards.

I was so happy with the results of last months acrylic class

I am tickled to be doing another one. of course it has videos and

is 100% online so you can take the classes day or night.

Happy Friday my friends!!!

~Layout In Rollers!~

Good morning my crafty friends,

I had so much fun breaking into this layout! LOL I took some

iPhone photos of my hair in rollers on the way to school last week.

I had never done that before so I needed photos.

I printed them up and cut out holes in the cool paper from

the April Scraptastic Club Kit called "I Feel Pretty"

I laid the photos behind the page instead of on top!! It was so fun!

I totally felt so artsy and kept it very whimsical.

I titled it "Ok Mom" because I told the boys "Hey I am taking you

to school in my rollers ok??" they just said OK MOM! LOL

I guess once your mom has pink hair the rollers don't really matter anymore.

This was a super fun kit to play with, I made the acrylic

butterfly window hanger and this layout so far.

I just love scrapping those everyday moments.

~Crafter's Easter Gift~

Good morning my friends,

I was creating last week and got to thinking about filling my kids

Easter baskets...then it dawned on me, why not make some BUTTON Easter

baskets for my crafty friends too!

And this is what I came up with.

You can see the instructions on the Buttons Galore & More blog.

I used the awesome Samantha Walker SVG Cut file and some pretty

pastel cardstock and the Buttons Galore Buttons.

After I made it I decided to use it in my craft room instead LOL

I might actually make one to giveaway but for now I am being super

selfish and keeping it! LOL

~Spring With Wings~

Good morning my friends,

Happy April right?? LOL I am excited about spring but it is nearly

90 here and feels like mid summer already!

I sat down this weekend and created with Clear Scraps and the fun

Scraptastic Club April Kit, and it was so much fun!

The kit is called "I Feel Pretty" so cute!

I decided to make a window hanging, and I really love the colors.

I just went crazy and decided to enjoy the colors and not worry

about specific placement or themes.

I love making those kind of projects~♡♡♡♡

~Stamping Fun With Avocado Arts *YEA*~

Good morning my friends,

I have some fun goodies to share with you today.

A couple months ago Avocado Arts asked me if I would like to Guest

Design for them in April and I jumped on it!

I am new to stamping but love it and cannot wait to share these

fun stamps that are made especially for me!

(ok they are not but they feel like it LOL)

The April Set is called SEW NICE perfect for muah~

For this card I stamped, then hand cut the pieces out. After that

I added Glossy Accents to the spool and the buttons, then wrapped

bakers twine all around the spool. I love the crisp images.

On the bottom I punched out the edging (October Afternoon papers)

and for the half circle I punched out a circle and scalloped circle.

Adding the sentiment in the middle. It was a fun stamp set~

And for this card I used the same October Afternoon papers

but I stamped in Hot PINK instead just for a pop of color.

Then I used embroidery floss on the buttons with a tiny clothespin.

I have more projects to share later this month!
