~Making Vintage Cards W/ Flower Punches~

♡♡Good morning my crafty friends♡♡

Yesterday I sat down and played with my McGill punches again,
last time I made the Cracked "Faux" Ceramic Rose, this time I
made a Hydrangea flower and used it on a vintage style card.
After punching out the flowers, I hand inked each one (painstaking yes
worth it? YES!) then added a pearl in the center of each one with the
Viva Decor Pearl Pen. You have to use a small foam ball cut in half for
these flower, trust me just get the balls LOL I tried other ways with no success.
I used a Samantha Walker/Unity stamp for the title and the papers are
Core'dinations and Webster's Pages. It was a fun little project, I cannot
wait to sit down and make more flowers! :)

I am off to finish this cake for the baseball party, it is
a double layer HUGE baseball cake, I am trying to make fondant for the
first time, I will let you know how it goes and post pictures tomorrow
if I don't flop!! hahaha
Happy Saturday!

~Pinky's Creative Crafting Frenzy!!~

Good morning my crafty friends!!

I am so excited about creating this week and today is no different!
I have always loved and used Core'dinations papers and they are
such an amazing product I thought I would pull out some projects
I have made recently with "Core" paper and have
my own little Core'dinations Creative Frenzy! hahaha

I made this layout yesterday in a pinch.
I actually had a couple projects ready to blog but they were picked up
by the Cricut magazine so I had to do a rush job for my blog today! haha
On this layout I used the Whitewash Core'dinations paper, one of my favorites!
I love how to core shows when you tear or emboss it.
I also used my new Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge, it matched perfectly!
I actually use the tablets of Core'dinations because that means I always
have the color I need. Have you tried the "Core" yet??
I stayed with simple elegance on this page. But I am happy with it.
I was totally crafty yesterday and I also made this all occasion card
I haven't decided if I want it to be
my Easter card or my Welcome Spring card?
I used the Whitewash paper first, I put it in my Cricut Imagine and cut the
shape for the card, then and ran it through my Cuttlebug, then I filed off
the dots a little to show the beautiful teal underneath.
Then I took the Core Couture and used my Imagine to cut the shape
slightly larger. I really wanted the BLING around the edges, it was the
perfect touch...to me anyways. :)
After I put the card together I used my I-rock and added gemstones all around.
Then I printed and cut pieces from my Lori's Garden cartridge and I
assembled the die cuts. I am so happy with the results and I love
the detail in the Whitewash papers!

Oh and I have been WAITING to share this project! :)
I had to wait 90 days because it was in a magazine, so here it is! :)
I made this Dinosaur Magnet set for my boys with the Core'dinations
Vintage Collection paper and the Dino Roar papers!
I love how much detail the Vintage paper gave the dinosaurs!!!
I ran it all through my Cricut and use a magnetic backing. My boys
LOVE this project and they still use the magnets!

I cannot believe how many times
I reach for my Core'dinations and never even realize it. I actually found over 35
projects with "Core" on them.

Thats it for me today, I hope you enjoyed my "frenzy" LOL!
I am off to prep for tonight! :)
Thank YOU for popping by to say hi!

~Happy Friday! Time for some fun and a CHA TRIP Giveaway!!!!!~

Happy FRIDAY!!!!! I am so excited,
I leave on Sunday for Chicago!!!!
I know you must be sick of hearing about it LOL

Yesterday someone asked me about this flower
I made so I thought I would post it.
The flower is some sort of Prima Flower and I WRAPPED
this Webster's Pages Bloomer's Ribbon.
Then I used my irock to place a clear gemstone on
the button. That's it.

Because I am genuinely crazy, I decided
at the last minute to play in a challenge on
Tally Scrapper. It's called "So You Think You Can Scrap"
I am not playing to win.
I am just playing to have some fun.
If I win I am sending the box of goodies to my
friend Denise. Who has slipped off the face
of the scrap world LOL
Anyways, I just thought I would have fun.
The first challenge was to scrap a 8.5X11 PURPLE PAGE
that says "So you think you can...?"
I chose Judge Me?
I had to use twine, and a wallet sized photo.
Oh and an all purple page...(yes this
is purple, it's the Whitewash Color Core'dinations purple paper)
Not because I am angry but it's funny how people
judge me because of my pink hair.
They think I am a punk, or goth, or a crazy drunk.
In reality, I am such a soccer mom it hurts LOL

Anyways, just some scrap fun.

Now for the beginning of my CHA giveaways! :)
I have some chipboard and papers
from the new Imaginisce Apple Cider Collection
*just a few*I was not supposed to get the extras but
a cross over in shipping time and another DT
gave me some so I am passing them along.

Be sure to leave a comment here and
pass the word along!!! It's going to be a fun week!

Stay tuned this week because I have a big one
by the end of CHA and I plan on giving
away most of the goodies I get at the show!

You won't want to miss it!

Ok I am off to pack and go to the PO!

~Thanks for popping by~
~Happy Friday Y'all~
