Feature Project Mini Album For Creating Made Easy

Well after a traumatic couple weeks full of death and loss, 

it feels good to create again. 

Not life is not back to normal but it is a good way to cope, creating through

the pain, I mean that is why I began scrapbooking, to cope with my past

and pain, so this is my therapy. 

This is actually the Creating Made Easy August 2016 Kit

Featured Project of the month! I love the colors and style of this kit. 

It was so fun to get to paint and create with the Mixable Album plus 

use the gorgeous Authentique papers in the kit.

Fall Window Card Tutorial

I was playing with the Creating Made Easy kit and decided to take

the ATC cards in it and create "window cards" that have a clear

window in the front, fun right?! 

Here is a step by step photo tutorial that you can use to create your own!

Don't forget to erase your tracing lines!

~Gift For You Acrylic Album~

 Good morning friends, I am back with

another acrylic mini album. Except this time it's a big album! :) 

This is the fun Tab Album from Clear Scraps and it's included

in the April 2013 kit. I love it! 

 I love the vintage style and feel plus the burlap flowers...YUM!

I cannot wait to print photos for this album! :) I think

I will print them all in sepia. 

These Authentique papers make me so happy.

~Weekend Scrapbooking & Misting!~

Good morning my crafty friends,

Whew what a weekend, full of storms, cleaning, baseball and more!

Saturday night my friend Jennifer came over and we worked

on my craft room until midnight! It was so fun actually.

So weird because she just calms me down and makes organizing actually

not make me want to die! LOL

It also cleared the way for me to sit down and scrap on Sunday for a

moments. While the insurance adjuster was here for my hubby's car.

This was perfect for the Authentique March Challenge!

I decided it was time to scrap my tattoo, because I waited so

long to get one and it meant so much to me.

Since the Celebrate Life kit from Scraptastic Club felt so artsy

I thought it would be the perfect fit for me! :)

I used the Washi tape and tons of spritz too from the add-on.

Oh but the alphas were from last month's kit.

I liked the match.

Ok on to the car, poor hubby's card was pelted with hail on Saturday

in Nashville, needless to say it's about 3500.00 in damage and the

hood and trunk it totaled, so it needs to be repaired when we get a chance.

Thankfully hubby was safe, I had so many friends caught in the tornado zone.

We are so very blessed.

Now I know I promised a giveaway to my class today but it's not

quite set up, so stay tuned, it will be this week!

~Birthday Card & Baseball Begins!~

Good morning my friends!!

Whew what a Monday!! :) I have this card to share today, I

had fun mail Saturday from the Scraptastic Club, and snuck in a few

moments of crafting in between Fed Ex, UPS, running errands and

not one but two baseball practices (the first ones)

How adorable is this kit?? I love it!

I am in love with the colors too! So fun. Right up my alley.

I love the twine and liquid pearls too.

I hand cut the flower from the paper, I love fussy cutting.

Baseball season has officially begun, I won't have any time except

kid time. I even missed dinner with a bunch of friends last night.

It was worth it to get the first practices done, but I forgot over the

winter how much time it takes.

Ok I am off to the store to grocery shop, then maybe tan these

pasty white legs a little before skirt season pops up.

HOPEFULLY I can come home and sneak in some crafty time

for my next class at The Scrap Room in Mt Juliet in a couple weeks!
