Did you know the Fiskateers are having a mini- Labor Day Crop?
I am so happy they are because I have not been scrapping
at all since I injured my hand... in fact
I was kind of afraid to even go into my sewing/craft room.
Last night I sucked it up and just went in...
I changed the needle on my sewing machine,
I cleaned up the shattered needles and plate and
dusted off my scrap table!

This is my FAVORITE shot on our vacation in June with the in-laws!It was night time and everyone was trying to get a shot
of the Belmont Mansion and I got that one shot and I love it!!!
The ruffle is fabric that I wanted to incorporate
but was not sure how....so I ended up taking a strip
and tearing it for a frayed edge for a soft edge.
I did not want the stiff look or ribbon but
I wanted the cherries and fabric content for more texture.
It has been a real blessing discovering the history in the south.Probably one of the most interesting things about moving.
OK then, I am off to play with my boys today...
gotta get some help showering then off to the park!
My finger is healing nicely but still bandaged.
I will be happy to be back to normal soon!
~Happy Labor Day~
~Thanks for popping by~
