~Friday...finally FRIDAY~

Boy for being a short week, this was a LONG week!
Hubby has been working 5am to midnight every day so my hands have been FULL!

SOOOO....my weekly blog contest will be postponed a few hours or maybe tomorrow even!

This week I have felt humorous and it has shown in my scrapping! LOL
I have to giggle....because I made that YUMMY cake! (thanks Christy@ southern plate)
And took pictures of the "Before" crop table...and lastnight I decided to scrap em!

After all what is MORE inspiring then Oooey Gooey Candy, Chocolate and SCRAPPING! Bwhahaha!

I had about 45 minutes to spare while the kids were playing so I pulled out the Dream Street Paper and went to town! And of course I had the stickles at my side! I don;t know if its a phase but if it is...it's a SHINY ONE!

~To stickle or not to stickle that is the question?~

Bwhahaha! I have felt sort of evil this week! I finally joined the ranks of being a stickle whore! I did not even have one bottle but I ordered several! And let me tell you I am now

GLITTER-Fabulous!
Here in the Winter LO you see STICKLED and Non Stickled!! Quite the difference!

PLus I made myself a FANCY SCHMANCY new banner! I have to say these 6X12's might be quite addicting!! I liked it! I might have to make an album!

And this is a Layout I did for a couple things....anyways, I like it and it turned out perty I think!
I like the vintage looking details and I love the pictures!
You know these were BEFORE digital cameras and one shot deals LOL
I lucked out on those pictures I don't know what i would do now without 60 of the same shot to edit! just kidding....sort of.

So overall a productive scrappy week and I am not even done yet!

~Look mom~ YES I have THREE BOys....

So MANY of my layouts involve. NUDITY, POOP or fighting! LOL
If you have or know anyone with 3 or more boys you understand!

This Layout to me just SCREAMS "MOM of BOYS"
And the funniest thing happened yesterday when I posted it!

A friend, a sweet friend on another board she commented on my LO..
"I am glad you put the arrows on there, I was wondering why he drew antennas on POOP!"

OH lorday I nearly fell on the floor laughing!!!
So when my son got home yesterday he grabbed the LO and wanted me to read it to him.
I gladly obliged and I said..."You know Justice. This Layout is popular and one lady said in my email...she was glad I put arrows on it because she thought you had drawn Antennas on the POO"

You should have seen his face...it was a mix of joy from being recognized and Hysterical laughter at the same time! He was so tickled someone took interest and he started laughing and said...
"She thought my butterfly was POO?"

OH lorday take me away!!
I nearly wet myself because to be perfectly honest I had no idea the other brown thing was a BUTTERFLY!! LOL

It was a wonderful cute day...and no one telling me this
LO is weird or he is for drawing poop can take it away from me!
I think you just have to have children or a sympathetic spirit to know~

~Nastyness in the scrappy world!~

I saw this on Sasha's blog last week, about people who leave rude nasty comments on people's work or blogs, and man it happened to me this week!

Normally I would not even flinch but it was a direct insult to my children.
When someone insults me I don't even reply, I figure I cannot argue with their anger...

It just shocks me because for the most part in scrapbooking and crafts in general I have found so much love and generosity, and I try to do react with 150% love back!
I would never even consider insulting someone's work let alone their family!

Every scrap page is a work of LOVE and heart goes into it!
I think it's so sad that some people resort to these methods of anger and rudeness

It's just very sad. And it's hurtful to people like me who would never even think of behaving in this manner. But I guess that is the point, just to hurt.

So if you don't like me or my work! I am 100% OK with that! Not everyone likes my style. So I say to you, click out! Don't come in here then! Just click on your own page or someone you love!
It's ok I think you will be happier without that nastiness!

Actually since I was sick this weekend I got a few pages scrapped!

I have been so sick this weekend, I mean in bed...don't touch me!...fall down SICK.

So I took a bunch of little magic red pills....otherwise known as ILLEGAL in Oregon but not TN SUDAFED! And I rolled out of bed to see a Contest at MIDNIGHT on Creative Scrappers, Now I knew I was not up to the challenge and I knew I was loopy and crazy but I did it anyway! Gawd forbid I miss a contest!

So this is what I came up with at 12am all hopped up on legal crack and sick. lol Laugh with me!!!!

Yea, PG-13~ LOL BUt we are all grown ups. I can't share this on any boards for fear of offending peeps. But i did this for the Gutter Girlz Blog.
The theme was SEX yea SEX! I probably should have went more artsy. But I found this paper very ironic and sort of funny to use about sex.
I like scrapping the weird and hard stuff, so this is just another Lo to add to the personal album.
I don't think I was too extreme.
Maybe it was the sickness, sudafed, and 10pm scrapping that did it!
I also did another page (to be shown tomorrow) and You will laugh your butts off!

Lastnight I woke up and Creative Scrappers was having a midnight madness sketch challenge! Oh boy....
Let me tell you...
When I am really sick...and take 3 sudafed,and wake up at 12am to scrap....
EVERYTHING turns to rainbows and butterflies!!! LOL

~She is OUUUUTTTAAA Here~

Well, I got booted out of my contest yesterday.
No more waking up Tuesday and scrapping I guess.
I am disappointed yes, not because I wanted the big prize, I would have just given it all away anyways. But just the feeling your work isn't good enough.
I still love that board and the people on it. I put alot of time and effort into it for almost a year now. Commenting on every Layout and staying active and chatting.
I did not even know about that contest until a month ago! I joined after it last year, I had no clue.
I always feel like I come up short.


I did join a NEW group this week and played in their ONE Hour Sketch contest and WON second place...OK technically there was no prize for second place BUT since the voting was 1 off they are giving me a prize anyways. So I guess my work is pretty good! I made this Dream Away Lo in one hour and the clouds are even heat embossed with Gold embossing powder! I am not sure what I was thinking when I decided to heat emboss and hand cut things on a one hour LO! hahahaha, the winner of the contest was a DT member, so they said next time the DT won't be able to play.

It was in Creative Scrappers! It seems to be a super fun drama free little board! If you get a chance come on by and tell them Pinky Sent ya!
