~Playing with my SVG files, Cri-kit Pens, and Helmar V2 *FREE SVG for Pens!*~

OK on to fun stuff
The only project I had time to work on this weekend was this
FUN make your own patterned paper project.
I am going to use this for a special project.
You might recognize the buttery from an earlier FREE SVG file
you can find HERE

I used a plain piece of cardstock (thanks hubby)
You can see it is textured and the Cri-kit Pens (Metallic) worked great on it.
I drew my shape on the paper with my Cricut, keeping the file open
on my SCAL for cutting the same size after.

I took a spare piece of scrapbook paper and cut out the butterfly with my Cricut.
Then I took the Helmar V2 (because it is re positionable) and I sprayed the back of
my cut paper and layed it OVER the cardstock with the drawn butterfly.
Next I took my Smooch Spritz (which totally rocks) and dries quicker than
some sprays, and I sprayed it over the masked cardstock.Looks how shimmery and shiny it is in person! OOooHH AahhhhHH Shiny LOL
I was thinking of making a Red, White & Blue baseball schedule clipboard.

Anyways, these pens are so much fun! I have hundreds of ideas in this crazy head.

~Scrappy Sunday, FUN new goodies, & Giveaway WINNER!~

Morning my crafty-licious friends.

I am running late today, I fell asleep early after all
the baseball mom duties and our picnic yesterday.

I always put such great pressure on myself to make an elaborate
very ornate card because after all, I am a crafter and what is what
people expect right? LOL Well this morning I needed to make a
birthday card and I decided to not worry about all the extras and just
go with the flow.I started with my CRI-KIT pens, and wrote the Happy Birthday
in Scriptina Font and I think I swooned! Anyways it's not super ornate but
it's pretty and I know my girlfriend will love it :)I used my trusty Helmar 450 on the bow because it does not
soak through and it holds quick. I love these little pins in the middle.
Makes the card seem more special I think.

I got an email from Cri-Kit this morning telling me they came out with a new tool!!
A Cri-Kit EMBOSSER!!!!!!! OMG! I am so excited.
Don't forget that I have some Cri-Kit pens to giveaway shortly.
I am waiting on the back-order but I will be GIVING AWAY sets of Cri-Kits!

Good morning my beautiful crafty friends!!!!

I am so excited this morning, I am AMPED up after
a great weekend in WV!

I came home to a fantastic surprise in the mail Cri-Kit
it was some new Cri-Kit PENS!!!!!!!They are PENS for your Cricut machine!

I just did a sample on white cardstock, because I have not had time
to play more, but you can bet I will this week!
Can you see the Metallic Shimmer? *swoom* Love it!
Also soon I will be hosting a giveaway for them so stay tuned!
From what I see so far, they totally rock my world!

Also I learned a new technique at the crop from Bettye, so tomorrow....I will be making a VIDEO TUTORIAL on that!

Now...you all know how much I LOVE my Helmar glue...
I have been bragging about it for months.
Even before the Design team I told y'all how amazing it is
and let me tell ya it rocks!
Wellll....do you want to design for them??
Guess what?? They are having a DT CALL!
I KNOW so many of my friends are amazing crafters!

So much to catch up on from the weekend being gone...
y'all are going to get sick of reading my catch-up blogs LOL

BUUUTTTT, since so many have asked about the chicken coop and chickens
I HAD to update everyone about our dirty dozen and the coop.
This is how far hubby and the boys got on the chicken coop.
This is the back view (because our neighbors have garbage behind it
and no one needs to see that LOL
This hole will be the hatch for me to collect eggs! WOOT! I am excited
just thinking about all those fresh organic eggs!
And here are the Dirty Dozen...
oh how they have grown, I am ready to put them out soon!
They are still adorable to me. But I am ready for a quieter house LOL
So someone come and help hubby get the roof on the coop.
He ran out of wood and we have to go back to the store tonight.
