~More of the baby girl Book~

I never have done baby girl pages and now that I am knee deep in them I am really enjoying it!
I especially enjoy that Savannah was born almost 10 weeks early and is a miracle, it sure make scrapping her a blessing. I almost find myself crying with every page I do.

~Back on the wagon~ Dream Big~

Recently a friend had her baby almost 10 weeks early. It was a surprise to all and they went through so much getting her home! That was 7 weeks ago, she is now home and I have not finished her BOOK yet!! So I am back in gear! I have 2 pages left.
She is such a delight to scrap about. It's always cool to scrap about a little miracle!

I am having trouble deciding on a Layout that shows my style for the new Treasured Scrapbooking Treasure Hunt!...guess I better get my ass in gear though, the deadline is looming.

~Off Kilter~

I don't know if it's that I am doign this for someone else? Or that its pages of Baby girls?? Or what it is but I am so unhappy with my pages this week and how they are turning out!
I felt like I was ON FIRE last week and I really kicked it into High gear. But these last couple days.....*BOMB*....Oh well....maybe tomorrow will bring my mojo back!!

~Point and click?...Yea...right!~

OK so I am NOT a professional photographer as you can clearly see! Haha
And I don't have one of those fancy Cameras....I only have a NIKON point and shoot camera.
But considering all those factors I was quite proud of these shots!
Number one....the timing was so hard! When I am on night shot I have to click then it takes a shot 5 seconds later. So I had to shoot as Andrew was lighting to catch the rockets shooting and the fireworks blooming.
I would love a fancy expensive camera....one day...but for now I will beam with pride over my homemade Independence Day shots!

Scrapping the 4th away?

OK not really, I actually spent the day with the family and we went out and got a new dog a MINIATURE Rat Terrier.
Justice has been begging me to get a PUPPY for a year now so he could name it Star Patch! So thus his name is Star Patch......

Now my husband is 6'2 and my boys, well they ain't no LITTLE boys! They are TALL and STRONG, so this little tiny puppy might be in danger I tell ya! hahaha

Oh I did manage to scrap one page yesterday, I even used fabric BUT it doesn't show much...I am not sure if I can share since it is for a contest but here is a sneak peak! If I win i will let you know...I never get my hopes up though. Not that I am a bad scrapper, I mean there is no BAD scrapping, but people want different things and I don't always have the biggest and the best.

It should be a fun day here in Nashville. I think we will be staying home and lighting off fireworks.
I live with 4 BOYS! I mean could I have more pyros in the house??!! Hahaha

~Card Makin~

We have our first Card Challenge in the new Card Section of Just Scrappin'
This is the card I entered for the sketch challenge. For some reason i cannot get the dimension to show up, but I actually like this card! Most times I am iffy on my cards but this one was fun!

I can't wait for later this month when we get out Card Kit from Kelly! And host the sponsored contest!

Its a beautiful day in Tennessee, not too hot and not too cold. So far I am really impressed with the comfortable weather here. Virginia last summer was almost 120 every day! Nice to be out of that heat! Have a beautiful day my friends and thanks for visiting my blog!

~Scrappin' Fool~

Just Scrappin's Crop came to an end yesterday and Treasured Scrapbooking's new month of challenges began. So I went crazy Scrapping yesterday!!!!!! It was a good crafting day! I set aside sewing and work, and even the house and just scrapped.

I did get up and make zucchini bread and muffins in the morning but besides that I just crafted most of the day and ended up getting 3 Layouts done!

Then This morning I had to choose winners for the crop! Oh man how hard was that??!! UGH...I hate not having a million dollars for prizes LOL

Its a good day in Tennessee and the sun is shining and I am smiling, now off to make the boys some breakfast. sometimes I wish I had a feeding trough with how these boys eat!

I am hoping to get some more homemade bread made and maybe some banana bread for the new neighbors too! Have a beautiful day y'all! *over and out*

~Just Add WATER~

So many things going on this month in Just Scrappin' including a sponsored KIT *clickme* contest! Yea I am so excited for that! Plus new challenges and other fun stuff going on.

Here is a Layout I did lastnight. In doing the other Love Note Layout I missed one challenge I was going to do...Oh well que sera sera! (:

This one is of the boys playing outside with the hose, they crack me up! Gage who is almost always naked, he was born a nudist I swear! And who knew a hose and some water could be so much fun!

~REAL Love Notes~

I have challenges to complete and other Layouts to do, but I was switching purses yesterday and came across these little LOVE notes. From my son Justice. Every time we go to a restaurant or have a wait at the DMV or anywhere, he asks for pen and paper and writes me little ""Love Notes".
My heart us always touched by these but coming across so many in my purse even Ice Cream Cone papers! I was in love all over again!
So I put away all challenges and just scrapped my heart to tell you the truth.

And it felt wonderful and I showed him the page and we smiled and he showed me how he did not remember some of them and we talked about his old drawings....

Now THAT my friend is Scrapbooking 100%~

~TeaBag Folding~

I am NOT a fan of teabag folding, I always feel like it is just not my style. So when I was presented with the challenge to make a card using teabag folding I nearly fell off my chair! LOL
Almost as bad as making me adhere to a sketch or traditional scrapbooking! I just have hard time doing it!
But I pulled my self off the floor and thought I would try it with some cool Cosmo Cricket Rustic paper and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out!! I might even *gasp* do it again sometime...not any time soon mind you but I might actually do it again! Hahaha

I have not been feeling well but I got a box of warehouse sale goodies yesterday from Cosmo Cricket and let me tell you I found some MOJO!
I had been wanting to do something with these PostCards Andrew got me on his trip to Nashville. So I finally scrapped them and these pictures from Texas in 2006!! I have wanted to scrap forever now!
The stars are all hand cut and I had fun with them!

Yea for new scrappy goodies and some inspiration! Now I should go in the garage and dig out pictures!

Recognize some of these?? Cosmo Cricket Love Notes papers and Stamps too boot?! Well they are all prizes at our 4 days crop at Just Scrappin! The flourish stamps are gone and the Leave it to Weaver punch! But there are plenty of goodies left!

~Hoo's Bird-Day is it?~

OK OK , it was yesterday and my poor husband had to work until almost midnight!
The kids were devastated and Andrew was sooo tired. He ate some Taco Bell and went to bed.
Let me tell you birthdays as an adult suck! LOL
You get socks and shorts and go to bed after work. It's not like a worldwide celebration like when your a kid!!
But I did have fun making this card. It could have been alot better but it turned out OK!
