~Hat Card~

Well, I have not been able to Scrap much lately but I did bang out this hat card today and you know what? I am HAPPY with it! Makes me smile in fact!
So To all my readers, whom I shamefully neglect (I have a hard time getting to blogs every day) I say to you, have a beautiful Day!

~Look MOM I have Hair Too~

After a long week of being sick, I am feeling better but the keikis are all very ill still!
So I snuck away from the wheezing and sniffling this morning and made this Layout.
Last week my 4 yr old put a rag on his head and kept saying "LOOK MOM HAIR" I think he is jealous of my hair since we shave their heads most of the summer due to heat and their sweating.
I am sorry but 4 men in the house....You just shave them heads! Maybe when they are older they will want long hair but for convenience sake....CLIPPER time as long as I am able to run things!

~Puppy Kisses~

I was feeling pretty down yesterday on myself and my work. Just having a bad day altogether in fact but really disappointed in myself and my work in particular.
So I didn't really scrap yesterday. But I did lastnight.

I am still very ill and the kids are all sick now. I won't be able to go to the Uncle Dave Macon Days (click me) here in town, darn it. I love bluegrass and I think the banjo and fiddle playing contests would rock my world. My uncle used to play the banjo for us and the family I lived with used to play Guitar and piano. I loved that. It was all by ear then. I can play the accordian by ear and a couple other instruments.

I am pretty disappointed about not being able to go. BUt I am pleased with my new Layout.
So things even out??

Well My good friend Cherrie won the Guest Designer Contest @ Treasured Scrapbooking! I know she has had a hard time last month and this is just the proof she needed that she is an A#1 Scrapper!
Of course I called her right away! She had a dream the other night that I called her at 5am and told her she won, so I could not resist!
It was fun being the one to tell her.

Well, I think this is my last page of the baby book. I had 15 donated blank pages!! YEA thank you Fiskateer friends and Treasured Scrapbooking friends, and Cherrie too!
I am still pretty sick so not much going on for me. I am planning on 2 tutorials though.
One on tea bag folding....hopefully up tomorrow. And one on a pop-up card with a bird!

Oh and some other fun stuffs happening!

~More of the baby girl Book~

I never have done baby girl pages and now that I am knee deep in them I am really enjoying it!
I especially enjoy that Savannah was born almost 10 weeks early and is a miracle, it sure make scrapping her a blessing. I almost find myself crying with every page I do.

Recently a friend had her baby almost 10 weeks early. It was a surprise to all and they went through so much getting her home! That was 7 weeks ago, she is now home and I have not finished her BOOK yet!! So I am back in gear! I have 2 pages left.
She is such a delight to scrap about. It's always cool to scrap about a little miracle!

I am having trouble deciding on a Layout that shows my style for the new Treasured Scrapbooking Treasure Hunt!...guess I better get my ass in gear though, the deadline is looming.

I don't know if it's that I am doign this for someone else? Or that its pages of Baby girls?? Or what it is but I am so unhappy with my pages this week and how they are turning out!
I felt like I was ON FIRE last week and I really kicked it into High gear. But these last couple days.....*BOMB*....Oh well....maybe tomorrow will bring my mojo back!!

OK so I am NOT a professional photographer as you can clearly see! Haha
And I don't have one of those fancy Cameras....I only have a NIKON point and shoot camera.
But considering all those factors I was quite proud of these shots!
Number one....the timing was so hard! When I am on night shot I have to click then it takes a shot 5 seconds later. So I had to shoot as Andrew was lighting to catch the rockets shooting and the fireworks blooming.
I would love a fancy expensive camera....one day...but for now I will beam with pride over my homemade Independence Day shots!

Scrapping the 4th away?

OK not really, I actually spent the day with the family and we went out and got a new dog a MINIATURE Rat Terrier.
Justice has been begging me to get a PUPPY for a year now so he could name it Star Patch! So thus his name is Star Patch......

Now my husband is 6'2 and my boys, well they ain't no LITTLE boys! They are TALL and STRONG, so this little tiny puppy might be in danger I tell ya! hahaha

Oh I did manage to scrap one page yesterday, I even used fabric BUT it doesn't show much...I am not sure if I can share since it is for a contest but here is a sneak peak! If I win i will let you know...I never get my hopes up though. Not that I am a bad scrapper, I mean there is no BAD scrapping, but people want different things and I don't always have the biggest and the best.

It should be a fun day here in Nashville. I think we will be staying home and lighting off fireworks.
I live with 4 BOYS! I mean could I have more pyros in the house??!! Hahaha

~Card Makin~

We have our first Card Challenge in the new Card Section of Just Scrappin'
This is the card I entered for the sketch challenge. For some reason i cannot get the dimension to show up, but I actually like this card! Most times I am iffy on my cards but this one was fun!

I can't wait for later this month when we get out Card Kit from Kelly! And host the sponsored contest!

Its a beautiful day in Tennessee, not too hot and not too cold. So far I am really impressed with the comfortable weather here. Virginia last summer was almost 120 every day! Nice to be out of that heat! Have a beautiful day my friends and thanks for visiting my blog!

~Scrappin' Fool~

Just Scrappin's Crop came to an end yesterday and Treasured Scrapbooking's new month of challenges began. So I went crazy Scrapping yesterday!!!!!! It was a good crafting day! I set aside sewing and work, and even the house and just scrapped.

I did get up and make zucchini bread and muffins in the morning but besides that I just crafted most of the day and ended up getting 3 Layouts done!

Then This morning I had to choose winners for the crop! Oh man how hard was that??!! UGH...I hate not having a million dollars for prizes LOL

Its a good day in Tennessee and the sun is shining and I am smiling, now off to make the boys some breakfast. sometimes I wish I had a feeding trough with how these boys eat!

I am hoping to get some more homemade bread made and maybe some banana bread for the new neighbors too! Have a beautiful day y'all! *over and out*

This one is of the boys playing outside with the hose, they crack me up! Gage who is almost always naked, he was born a nudist I swear! And who knew a hose and some water could be so much fun!
