It's a Good thing TOO

I had fun with this Layout. I used about 100 pop dots LOL Seems to be my Thing lately.
And I spent hours hand cutting circles. I am circled out!
I love using Christmas Paper (the brown and blue polka dot and blue) for NON Christmas purposes.
Lots of Basic Grey paper here and handmade embellishments too. I made the flowers from hot glue and rik rak~
I love this picture it was a company picnic when we first moved to VA. I love the look of love in Andrew's eyes. Its a pure moment you don't catch often but he just looks like he loves me pure and simple. It my most fave picture of us EVER~

I recieved this card a while back and it truly made me laugh. It meant so much to me so I decided to save it and Scrap it! The card was from Melanie at Treasured Scrapbooking and it said on the cover.....If Drinks aren't involved, Neither am I!
Oh I just thought it was so offbeat and cute I could not resist keeping it in my memory book!
I used mostly Daisy D's Papers, even the bird was Daisy D and I cut it out and used foam dots to attach it. It was a very simple LO with lots of layers and glue! haha

~Summertime is scrapping time~

With these 100% humidity and 99 degree days, I definitely will be hiding in my scrap room!
Here is a page I did for my sister's album. She sent me 20 pictures to scrap so I am trying to keep them 1 to a page to fill the album.
I wanted it to look like a ray of sunshine but I didn't quit achieve it, anyways I am still pleased overall. I like the American Crafts Papers, they are thick and hold paint well.

Card Crazy!

Yea that's right I went a little card crazy. No actually I am doing a card swap and I have the "Sympathy or Here for you" cards. So I made 8 lastnight. They are all simple but it brought me some joy making them anyways. I was feeling a bit down about my friend's baby in the N ICU and she was having a hard time coping yesterday, so I locked my self into my scrap room and just started cutting. Something therapeutic about cutting and snipping and seeing some life in those cards.

Fabric and scrapbooking, my two passions

I LOVE using fabric in scrapbooking but I don't see many people doing it.
BUT this week I received this car from New Zealand of all places from a gal who joined my Just Scrappin' site. OMG how cool!~
She pop dotted fabric (on paper of course) onto a card and it turned out so fun I think!
Fabric has so many great prints, I love cutting out a piece and attaching it to cardstock then using it in layouts as an embellishment.

Oh and June has some prizes and some really fun chat going on. The girls at Just Scrappin' are so special. If your my friend and want to join in it's open for fun.

No one, I just want my hubby and boys to fly to Hawaii and lay my ashes to rest there, No bull shit "I loved her" from my so called family. Heck I don't care if they even know I died, i would prefer them not to.

Nothing but work work work!

Since my suck ass van broke down and they only take cash (WTH is up with that? for all I know he is stripping the van and selling it for parts?! I hate mechanics) and we have a rental car, I have been doing nothing but sewing my ass off! I wish I had more fabric!
My favorite find is the white cherry fabric I found. I have sold 3 already! woohoo!
And some BUTTERFLY fabric which was mroe expensive but always sells for more too! I lov e when I find cherries and butterflies they always sell fast!
Now where the heck is the KNIT fabric everyone asks for??? I NEED cheap KNIT!

Hopefully I can go back to Franklin tomorrow and buy more (above fabric) in my rental CAR! UGH

My very favorite scrapbooking site crashed. I had a 10.00 gift card there and so many friends. I am utterly devastated. It doesn't even look like she will be able to get it running and if she does much will be lost. Its so depressing I loved those girls and that site.

From Franklin to Franklin!~

Well nothing worse than taking a drive in the countryside (after working all day poor Andrew) and ending up in Franklin TN of all places, and breaking down! OMG!
I now hate my minivan! LOL
So from Franklin, VA to Franklin, TN I now realize that all places named Franklin have bad luck in store for me!

Those poor kids in the car while broke down. UGH what a bad day.

Fiskateers

One of the Fiskateers is having surgery so I whipped up this card this morning.
You know the Lacy Days Of Summer Border punch is so much fun. I still am not sure why i HAD to have it and why I need it, I mean how much use will I truly get out of it in the end? BUT its fun with card making. And this is American Crafts double sided paper which I adore!! Its heavy enough for cards and light enough to scrap and not warp! woohoo!

Your so vain......

Its that time of year again, time to get down with my funky self!
LOL Yes, vain I know but you only live once.

So this is the first time in a LONG time, I have worn piggytails(or as hubby calls them handles! :P)....and Poor Gage my 4 yr old almost pissed himself.....

He took my hand and in awe....stared up at my hair and said "DOUBLE MOM DOUBLE".....I said "what?" He said "You have 2 hairs Mommy 2 hairs!"
He kept staring for about 30 minutes following me around like a puppy dog LOL
I still say the first woman a boy falls in love with is his MOTHER! I see it every day in his eyes.

Today i got dressed and had my hair down and he grabbed my face and said "NO MOMMY go get DOUBLES" he wanted those ponytails again hahahaha

The other quite freakin adorable thing he did was grab my face tonight with both hands and he stared into my eyes and said "YOUR AWESOME MOMMY AWESOME!"
Mind you I had just been mad at him for not wanting to eat one bean I asked him to try! And I said I am mad! But he just sees nothing but love.

How guilty can i feel for one whole night. I mean golly I just want him to be healthier! That kid would eat hot dogs and Hamburgers and nothing but, hell he DOES! I have to beg him to even try one piece of corn and heaven forbid he eats anything GREEN!

In the Groove~~

Well sort of anyways. I feel like I am getting back in the scrappy groove.
I did this Layout lastnight for a photo swap, *shhh* I am not supposed to reveal until June First!
I don't know why I sign up for these things! I about had a coronary doing it.
I means Number one its for another scrapper and Number two its for a REALLY GOOD scrapper! I have been scrapping 6 months now and she has for years! AND I don't have all the latest greatest supplies!
So I hope she likes it.

Typical ME I ran out of Thickers so I had to use an H upside down for a Y!
Its Basic Grey paper which I LOVE and I used Tim Holtz Crackle paint for the first time.
Let me just say this about Tim Holtz Crackle paint...How freakin cool is it that it comes with its own brush! OMG like way cool!
And the wing is Grungeboard which I am ok with but it hates INK it absorbs it almost completely! I ended up crackling the edges for dimension.
I print out two pictures and cut out the Caution Hot and 3-D it back on the original picture.
It has WAY more dimension than I was able to photograph.
Overall I like the Layout minus the Title....but hey whatcha going to do when you run out of letters??
*Improvise* is my middle name!

Back to Scrapping?

OH how i HOPE so! Hopefully tonight I will find some time.

OK update on me....
#1 It's Justice's Birthday today! My first born is 6!
#2 I talked to a woman this week who thinks the Nanny on TV is super HOT! So I watched the Nanny and she is quite pretty.....not I want to be lesbian pretty but pretty nonetheless.

#3 I totally had this weird hot lesbian dream lastnight about me and a chinese girl?! And she was so in love and wanted to take me to China....now how weird is that number one? And number two why?? Why did I completely remember it in full color? I think my mind is slipping!

#4 Sewing machine NOT fixed but new one working slow as shit though.

#5 Van might be fixed? I hope so anyways! Changed water pump...still leaking....changed gasket still leaking, pulled out hair ...still leaking, bashed head in wall...still leaking! Now changing hose. *fingers crossed*

Ahhhh life....**it happens! hahaha

Back to work!

Well this weekend was pretty rough. The van broke down for the first time ever. The water pump went out we replaced it and guess what? ITS STILL LEAKING! Shoot me! LOL And my sewing machine went KAPOOTTT! My lifeline, my employment, my money maker!
Thanks goodness for Sears credit card is all I have to say.
I cried like a little baby for an hour over that stupid machine. Lord help me I loved it.
And back to making dresses lastnight and this morning for the joys of the plus sized world LOL

Hope you had a pleasant Memorial Day. I can't complain we are alive and well.
In the grand scheme of things it was just another day and we are thankful for what we have.

It might not be pretty.....

BUT its MINE ALL MINE!!
My new scrapbooking and sewing room all to myself!! No kids, not clothing, no bed! JUST crafts and work! (room not organized yet but its getting there)

I bought a used table and chairs for 55.00 and when I sew and serge and scrap, I won't have to drag a chair from spot to spot. I know they are not pretty but they are stable and functional! I am so happy!
And my kitchen is unpacked 90& and the rest of the house is getting there!
Hopefully I can resume normal scheduling and routine soon!, My poor sewing machine broke yesterday and I cried for an hour. MY car broke down too! I am so thankful we have 3 days off to repair and fix things. EEK!

Fat chicks swim too!

I was trying to recover some pictures from my crash last week and lo and behold this one popped up on my desktop LOL of all the pictures!
So I got to thinking. Ya, I am fat but I am pretty danged cute too! This is me last year in my super cool bathing suit! I don't look like a stuffed marshmallow, I don't look like a skank crammed into a bikini, I just look like ME. Fun adventurous! And someone who LOVES the beach and LOVES to swim!

So I don't care that your fat or embarrassed, get off your ass and get in the water!
Most likely I am bigger than you and I look damn good and so will you, well not quite as good as me Hahahaha!
