~Acrylic Mini album/Card/Book Tutorial~

Since this little Card/mini album/book I made was so popular and I had so many requests for a tutorial I decided to make one!!!

Now I was out of Cherry goodies sooooo this is the album we will be making today!

Are you ready??? OK let's do this!!
You start with one 12X12 sheet of Clear acrylic paper or Hambly. Any design is fine.
You can get about 5 to 6 pages total depending on the size or design

You cut in 4" OR 3" strips once again depending on the size of album/card you want.

Then you start with the smallest size and cut each piece 1" longer than the last.

Here I used my corner rounder to round the edges

I also scalloped the edges with it (see tutorial earlier on my blog)

This is how it will look layered
and not embellished at all.
Base of the Book/card/album.

On the front page I cut use the thinnest strip of paper remembering as I go I will be layering wider strips to see through later. You can see the glue is slightly visible so I always want to have a layer on each side so no glue will ever show.
I put this textured cardstock on the back side.

And a paper lace on the front...no glue shows! but it has a cool layer effect.

This is how the back side looks all ready for embellishments.

If I do use ribbon I try to wrap it completely around.

I have my heart and embellishments ready for adding in the end.

Now on the next page I use a wider sheet of paper and I like it to be decorative because I know the top and bottom will be showing through.

And on the back I used a slightly wider sheet of paper you can pretty much go crazy with whatever style you want.

And obviously on the last page I use the widest paper so it will add the last layer of paper that will be seen on the front of the album/card/book.

These are all the layers before embellishment with just so
you can see it all comes together nicely.

I even added one more layer on the very back for a note of more pictures.
I LOVE double sided paper! They coordinate well and looks so cool!

Now you hold firmly all the layers and use your handy dandy Crop a Dile OR hole punch and make 2 OR THREE holes for the ribbon! And lace that baby up!

You thread the ribbon and Wallah!!
Play with your embellishments and have FUN!
