~Pinky's Creative Crafting Frenzy!!~

Good morning my crafty friends!!

I am so excited about creating this week and today is no different!
I have always loved and used Core'dinations papers and they are
such an amazing product I thought I would pull out some projects
I have made recently with "Core" paper and have
my own little Core'dinations Creative Frenzy! hahaha

I made this layout yesterday in a pinch.
I actually had a couple projects ready to blog but they were picked up
by the Cricut magazine so I had to do a rush job for my blog today! haha
On this layout I used the Whitewash Core'dinations paper, one of my favorites!
I love how to core shows when you tear or emboss it.
I also used my new Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge, it matched perfectly!
I actually use the tablets of Core'dinations because that means I always
have the color I need. Have you tried the "Core" yet??
I stayed with simple elegance on this page. But I am happy with it.
I was totally crafty yesterday and I also made this all occasion card
I haven't decided if I want it to be
my Easter card or my Welcome Spring card?
I used the Whitewash paper first, I put it in my Cricut Imagine and cut the
shape for the card, then and ran it through my Cuttlebug, then I filed off
the dots a little to show the beautiful teal underneath.
Then I took the Core Couture and used my Imagine to cut the shape
slightly larger. I really wanted the BLING around the edges, it was the
perfect touch...to me anyways. :)
After I put the card together I used my I-rock and added gemstones all around.
Then I printed and cut pieces from my Lori's Garden cartridge and I
assembled the die cuts. I am so happy with the results and I love
the detail in the Whitewash papers!

Oh and I have been WAITING to share this project! :)
I had to wait 90 days because it was in a magazine, so here it is! :)
I made this Dinosaur Magnet set for my boys with the Core'dinations
Vintage Collection paper and the Dino Roar papers!
I love how much detail the Vintage paper gave the dinosaurs!!!
I ran it all through my Cricut and use a magnetic backing. My boys
LOVE this project and they still use the magnets!

I cannot believe how many times
I reach for my Core'dinations and never even realize it. I actually found over 35
projects with "Core" on them.

Thats it for me today, I hope you enjoyed my "frenzy" LOL!
I am off to prep for tonight! :)
Thank YOU for popping by to say hi!

~Life's Better With Friends!~

Good morning from beautiful TN!

With the house so quiet I am having a very creative week.
Today I have a layout I made yesterday from the Tally Scrapper
April Kit "Blooms & Wings". This kit is so dreamy, I love it!
I am so blessed with wonderful friends here in TN. I mean true blue
amazing friends, Adrienne is just one of the amazing friends I have.
You know I often think that I had such an awful childhood and life
that I believe God had blessed me in so many more ways as an adult.
Don't get me wrong, I struggle daily with intense pain and other issues
but when it comes to family and friends, my cup really is overflowing!
We all go through those ups and downs but I am so blessed to have
strong rocks beside me even in those down times.
To me...THIS is what scrapbooking is all about.
My children will look back on my pages and say "Wow she may have
not had it easy all the time but she was thankful and loved with all of her heart"
At least that's what I hope they say *wink* hehe

In reality they could say "Why the heck did she have that pink hair???" LOL
OK off to create some more today, I am feeling the mojo this week!

Don't forget yesterday's GIVEAWAY!! You still have time to enter!
Thank YOU for stopping by, I love my friends♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

~Scrapbooking & Crafting IS Art!~

Good morning my crafty friends!
Don't forget about yesterday's GIVEAWAY!

I am always trying new things when I play with paper and craft.
When I was designing the April kit for Tally I ran across these book covers
I decided to add them to the kits and try one myself.
I am very happy with the results!
Almost everything here is from the April Kit from Tally Scrapper.
I sure am having fun designing these kits, it pushes me to create
in many ways and with many mediums.
I dyed the tulle with the smooch spritz in the kit too! :)
I covered the butterfly and boy let me tell you, the Imaginisce D-stress
is now MY BEST FRIEND when it comes to covering chipboard!
I am hoping to fill this Art Journal with my journaling for any and
all future layouts. Right now I just have them in piles of notebook
paper in my bedroom LOL Time to organize! :)
And it's true, scrapbooking, crafting and creating is ART!!
I treat it like art and love it like art! :)

Ok I am off to create today, I created yesterday all day and I am feeling it!
Have a beautiful day and THANK YOU for popping by!

~Having Fun With Scrapping, Relaxed Style!~

Good morning my crafty friends! You all amaze me!!
I was blog hopping the other day between baseball practices and
wow there is some major talent out there!

I have so much fun scrapping and I never take it seriously.
For me my scrapbooking is a diary of my life and the life of my loved ones.

Today is the same...
At Tally Scrapper we play Survivor and we have so much fun with it.
This week the challenge was from Nikki and she challenged us to use
a Z-Word title that could only be 3 words....well it just so happens her
last name is ZIMMER!
So I had fun with it and took this VERY mischievous photo
*don't worry I edited it for anyone who might be offended!*
and made this layout that is titled (with ONLY 3 words LOL)
Zimmer, Nikki Sucks! hahaha
Don't worry I told her about it before I made it and we had a great laugh!
I love the layout and its going to be a fantastic memory when
I look back at my pages!
Sorry if I offended anyone, I just had to share! :)
If you want to see the unedited version head on over to Tally,
and point me while you are there! LOL This is a contest I can't win you know
so any points are appreciated! LOL
Here is a link

Happy Saturday everyone! Thanks for having a great sense
of humor with me and bearing with my silly scrap fun! :)
I love ya for it!

Oh and this is the NEW Upcycle paper from Cosmo Cricket!
I dont think we should tell them I made this layout LOL

~I Had No Idea What I Was In For!~ ♡♡

Good morning my crafty friends! :) Happy Friday!

Before I hit the scrapbooking/crafty news today I have to take a second
to share a couple pictures of my boys. It's so funny...
ALL week long they have begged me to build a fire pit, which
we had planned for a while now but had not done it yet.

Finally the other day I just said "GO DO IT! Get out of this house" LOL
Can I just tell you that I should have let them do it on Monday??
They must have spent 4 hours total building this "Fire Pit". God bless them
it was adorable! I never knew digging a small hole and playing with rocks
could be so much fun for my boys! LOL
I also gave them a hand saw and I think they nearly died and went to heaven!
When they were done making the pit, they spent another hour playing with
wood preparing for the night we have a fire. I mean they are like little ants
out there preparing for winter! It was so fun and adorable!
You can see the dog "Daffodil" never left their side either LOL
I LOVE LOVE being a mom of boys, it really is a hoot! ♡♡♡♡♡♡

OK on to craftiness! :)

Boy oh boy when I took over Tally Scrappers I had no idea what I was in for!
Who knew that CHA shipping was so finicky! LOL

I had this amazing kit planned and half of it did not arrive. It was either
sold out or on back order, I ordered it months ahead of time too!

But I had alot of fun making this kit and changing it up at the last minute. :)
Here is the Tally kit for April "Wings & Blooms" which I had named
AHEAD of time and the blooms did not exactly arrive! LOL
I really just have to laugh about it now!!! hahahaha
I love how pretty the kit is and soft too.
I cannot wait to dig in and play!
I also love the new Pink Paislee papers! Oh la la!
And I fell in love with the new 7 Gypsies book covers!!
Anyways here it is my friends :)
My week in a nutshell!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for popping by and listening to me blab! LOL

~Preserving Baby Memories~

Good morning!!! :) I have a fun layout to share today.

Tally Scrapper had a fun challenge for Survivor which was to use
a picture of socks, a pair of socks, or a word in the title Socks.
So I used baby socks on my layout and the title.
What a fun way to keep those baby socks! :)
I used alot of Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket,
My Little Yellow Bicycle, and even American Crafts
It's so funny because when I bought socks for my babies I thought they would
fit the first 3 months, and be so cute BUT they only fit about 2 weeks LOL
That was a shocker with my huge boys LOL :)
Anyways I had alot of fun with it and it preserves our family memories for
years to come!! :)

Had a bad day yesterday, took the boys to the Dr. yesterday and both
my boys have Walking Pneumonia and double ear infections.
It's going to be a hard week ahead. I feel so bad for them :(
If you have an extra prayer please send it my way! :)♡♡♡

~♡♥Happy Monday & Spring Break For Us!!♥♡~

Good morning my crafty friends!!!

We had a beautiful weekend here in TN with 80 degree weather and
wonderful friends with baseball. We lost our games but what a great weekend!

After the games, mowing, and playing with the boys yesterday, hubby and
I took an evening drive as the sun set and I snapped a few pics I thought I
would share along with my projects today.
This is right down the road, I love spring and it has hit Middle TN!
A beautiful pink tree at sunset. I am so grateful for this weekend with
my family and outside. What a refresher!!

I did sit down on Saturday night and scrap. I finished a layout and
this cute little acrylic card. I used the new Berryliscious line from Imaginisce
and the 12X12 acrylic sheets from Clear Scraps.
I love making cards that do not fold but have 2 sides!
They are so practical for acrylic and people love them.
This one is for my mother in law in Oregon. Her b-day is this week.
I hope she likes it. It reminds me of a spring birthday.
Later this week (24th) there will be a special blog hop from Imaginisce
and a super FUN prize! :) So stay tuned and come back by!!!

OK thats it for me today, I have the boys home all week, so I will
be in an out and a BUSY momma! Much love to ya, I hope you
found some inspiration today, if not then I hope you just had fun!
As always I THANK YOU for coming by!
