30 Days Of Holiday Project Ideas w/ Xyron- Goodwill Find!

Welcome to Xyron's 30 Days Of Holiday Project Ideas!

It's my turn to be all Xyron-crafty and today I have a BIG project
to share- this 13X20 frame I found at Goodwill for 1.99 and turned
it into this Holiday Fun Dry Erase Board.
And I took photos the entire process so you can make your own!
I even photographed the 1.99 sticker- because I was super excited!
First I took the woodgrain frame and painted it gold.
As it dried, I started the dry erase board areas.
I used my Crafter's Companion embossing folder (amazeballs!)

That was for the middle "window pane".
I used the Maya Road Alphabet- running them through
the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™with the top side down.
So that I could apply the glitter!! WOOT! Glitter!
journaling cards on the 12X12 sheet- they were perfect
for each window which was around 3X5.
I trimmed them out to 3.5X5.5 and matches up Clear Scraps acrylic.
I ran each piece of paper through the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™

Then laid the acrylic onto the sticker side.
Then peeled off the other side of the protective film.
dry erase boards I created into place while I put the backing
for the frame back on. I also used the Xyron® 3/8" High Tack Adhesive Dots
on the inside of the back of the frame to keep it all in place!
Then I adhered the snowflakes and letters on.
And added some pearl dots and a big fluffy ribbon to hang it.
I was excited to hang it and couldn't resist when
a sweet 9 year old came to visit and asked for it.
Of course I gave it to the sweet cupcake! :)
I hope you enjoyed my project idea! I was excited to share it!

Candy Sleds For The Holidays- Pinky Style

Good morning friends,
I though it would be fun to post a Christmas idea that
EVERYONE can do even if you are not a crafter!

I had seen a version of these candy sleds before and
thought I would make it my own and change it up a bit.
When I was creating them my gf kept saying how fun
it was to use leftover wrapping paper and how easy it would
be to do with children since there was no hot glue involved.
Also no chocolate is melted!! BONUS! :) Everything remains edible.
All you need it wrapping paper scraps, scissors, candy canes,
candy- I suggest Kit Kat bars, little candy bars in varying sizes
use the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™if you wanted. *optional*
First wrap the Kit Kat bar using Xyron® 3/8" High Tack Adhesive Dots
it's much easier than using tape for these small candy cards.
Next place 4-5 Xyron® 3/8" High Tack Adhesive Dots along
the bottom of each side.
Adhere to the candy canes.
This creates the base of the sled while maintaining the integrity
of the candy cames and keeping the candy bar from melting.
Next wrap 3 mini bars together.
Now you can do this with the Xyron® 3/8" High Tack Adhesive Dots
OR the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™ by trimming the wrapping
paper to the right size.
Running it through the Xyron® 5" Creative Station™ and
creating a BIG sticker.
Easy peasy to wrap that way.
Santa's candy gifts into place.
Repeat with 2 mini cards then one.
Wrap twine or ribbon around- add a bow!
That's it! Easy- safe to make even for kids. Great for that accent by
a gingerbread house too!
Anyone can make these just give it a go! :)

Clear Scraps And DCVW With A PRIZE Package! :)

Good morning friends and welcome to the Clear Scraps + DCVW
cross promotion with prizes of course!

I project today is this Clear Scraps Send It Clear Acrylic card using
DCVW Woven Paper inside. I love love the texture!
Lately I have been obsessed with GOLD spray paint (for real it's bad people)
and I felt the need to just spray paint the crap out of this card! LOL
I used the Damask Mascil from CS on the Woven Paper and
also on the outside doors to the card.
I used a crystal ornament I created for the cover.
And added tons of snowy glitter to the edges.
I love this card, the whole concept of the Send It Clear line is amazing.
