~Globe Sun Catcher With Sheer Ribbon~

 It's finally Friday-
what a long week so far, thankful today it's almost over!

We have been fighting for over a year now to get my son
diagnosed and it's been a long battle this week. Anyways...on to
more pleasant craftiness (what I am best at).

I created this vintage style globe sun catcher using Ribbons Unlimited
Sheer ribbon- you know I am a new design team member over there
and I honestly LOVE IT! Be sure to check out the instructions
on their blog and their pages.
I also used Clearsnap copper inks and a Connie Crystal suncatcher.
I got these dictionary pages from some place and damned if
I can remember the name! It's driving me crazy!
Anyways hope you have a wonderful weekend my friends.
Happy Friday to you all and thank you for stopping by!

~Think Happy Thoughts-Acrylic & Crystal Sun Catcher!~

Happy Friday to my amazing crafty friends,

I created a fun new project to share because I have the privilege
of working with Connie Crystals and amazing crystal company.
And Clear Scraps, a great acrylic company, and of course
The Scraptastic Kit Club (which provided the paper and embellishments)
I decided to combine to three for a beautiful sun catcher wall hanging.
I started out with the Clear Scraps Scalloped Square Album, I took
a page from it. Then I scored and cut, and cut...and CUT the middle out!
LOL It was alot harder them I anticipated, these things are sturdy!
I stapled the Connie Crystal Sun Catcher into place,
then I added the paper frame from the PB&J kit.
I also dug out my add-on from last month's kit the Ruby Red
Liquid Pearls and dotted all over.
I cannot wait to hang this on my wall, I love the fresh look for summer!
They will have a new website up soon with full instructions too.
Plus the amazing Scraptastic Kit Club and Clear Scraps, they all are
wonderful companies with purpose.

Happy Friday! :)

~Saturday giveaway update and bling'in it up with my i-rock!~

Good morning!!!!
Today I am packing but I set this to post
while I was away baking and such.

I REALLY wanted to play more with my i-rock,
so I decided to BLING up my Yellow Box shoes for CHA
They were lime green polka dot with pink and white, which
I liked but they did not match anything I owned LOL
So I decided to BLING them up and make them more
neutral. You should have seen hubby LOL
His exact words were "Oh &^*% she has a be-dazzler!!"
I was cracking up!!!!!!

I also wanted to show you who are headed to CHA
what to look for! :) ME!
I made 2 aprons, this is one and you saw the other.
I am so excited to meet everyone.
I will be there from Sunday at12pm
until Friday at 5am, I fly out Friday.
So please do track me down!!!!
I have a horrible memory so bear with me.
Just remind me who you are ok?

First thing I am headed to do at CHA
Mission #1 will be finding an APRON
to give away!!!!!

So stay tuned for 5 days of giveaways!
When I get home I will draw names,
so keep on commenting and sharing with your friends.
Each referral is another entry just ask Sandy! :)

~Playing with my SVG files, Cri-kit Pens, and Helmar V2 *FREE SVG for Pens!*~

Good morning!

Before I start there is a GIVEAWAY on Imaginisce TODAY!
HERE!

OK on to fun stuff
The only project I had time to work on this weekend was this
FUN make your own patterned paper project.
I am going to use this for a special project.
You might recognize the buttery from an earlier FREE SVG file
you can find HERE

I used a plain piece of cardstock (thanks hubby)
You can see it is textured and the Cri-kit Pens (Metallic) worked great on it.
I drew my shape on the paper with my Cricut, keeping the file open
on my SCAL for cutting the same size after.
I took a spare piece of scrapbook paper and cut out the butterfly with my Cricut.
Then I took the Helmar V2 (because it is re positionable) and I sprayed the back of
my cut paper and layed it OVER the cardstock with the drawn butterfly.
Next I took my Smooch Spritz (which totally rocks) and dries quicker than
some sprays, and I sprayed it over the masked cardstock.Looks how shimmery and shiny it is in person! OOooHH AahhhhHH Shiny LOL
I was thinking of making a Red, White & Blue baseball schedule clipboard.

Anyways, these pens are so much fun! I have hundreds of ideas in this crazy head.

Here is a FREE SVG especially made for Cri-Kit Pens!
(Or any pens for your Cricut)
Easy to draw and single lines.
I checked it out myself on paper and it works! :)
Just click the picture to download.
That's it for me today, I am working on a Spring Wreath this week
for Purple Cows and some new Imaginisce projects too!
It is going to be a great week.

We are BBQ-ing hot dogs tonight and the boys are so excited haha

~Have a great Monday~
~THANK YOU every single one of you for stopping by~

~Scooter's Vacation?! How fun!~

It's a late night post for me, I am gearing up
for tomorrow and the REVEAL for Scrapbooking From The Inside Out!
I have some cool pages to share from that kit...
in the mean time, I have had SO MUCH FUN
playing with the new Imaginisce kit...
SCOOTER'S VACATION!

Now I will be the first to admit I had to reroute my thinking
when it comes to the more themed paper, but
I am so happy I have! I love the fun cute pages I have been creating.
I always have fun pictures I love but they have no particular
emotional heavy meaning, just fun family travel pictures
So this was a great way to scrap the fun stuff!

Everything here except for the Thickers/Jenni Bowlin Title
is the Scooter's Vacation line form Imaginisce! LOVE IT!
I took this picture last fall in TN on the back roads
in Nashville. I love the fall here and taking those back roads
always leave me nostalgic for country drives hubby used to take
me on while I was 9 months pregnant. :)

More news...
I have decided to begin a new challenge blog...
there will be more news to come on this one! :)
I hope you stay tuned!

~Have a great last day of 2009~
~I appreciate every last one of you~
