~Clear Butterfly Card W/ Flowers And SASS~

Hey there and happy Monday my friends,
I have a fun card today to share- probably won't see this one anywhere
except my blog as it has a tiny little cuss word in it! LOL

I was creating this weekend getting ready for some new classes and
tending to my sick son- missing out on all my scheduled activities.
I decided to just play with my canvases, cards, and work on projects.
that I embellished and decorated using Pink Paislee,
Momenta Metals, and Purple Cows punches to create the flowers.
Oh and I used some Extreme Glitter Folk Art Paint as well on the
butterfly you see- that gold one...with Viva Decor Pearls on her.
Oh and of course my Colorbox Cat Eye Metallic inks for the roses too
and the sentiment- let's not forget Clearsnap- they make me happy.
I just love it because the card itself is totally my style all frilly and fun
and this inside is REALLY my style with the word shit...I mean yes
I am that person that sole crazy gal who still cusses on occasion LOL
It's perfect for my gal pals! :)
Admit it- you need this stamp!!!!! LOL
YOU'RE WELCOME carry on people! Happy Monday~

~Love Always~

Good morning my friends,
What a week so far- sick kids, distressing news, baseball tournament...go
go and go some more but in the middle of it all my husband's strong
shoulder to lay on...al always...
This Bubble Frame was completely inspired by him and our relationship.
When life throws you curve balls you always need love...
I used the amazing Purple Cows Punches for these roses and some
beautiful Webster's Pages and Colorbox White inks.
A Globecraft Memories Bubble Frame and just relaxed and created.
I think I will put it right above my bed to remind me to breathe.
And I always have love...more than I deserve and incredible people in my life.

Happy Friday friends! :)

And creating these fun vintage flowers with my Purple Cows punches.

I used my Jenni Bowlin papers- and just went with it.
I don't get to do vintage style often but when I do I immerse myself
I just love it. I love all styles LOL
Anyways- it was a fun card to make- I love my Clear Scraps for sure!

~Beach Fun Layout & New Tattoo~

Good morning my friends,
I took the day off for me yesterday and went to the tattoo shop ALONE! :)
*scroll down for pics*

In the mean time, I am dying over  this Scraptastic Club May Kit! :)
Weathered Spring is the name and it's such a cool kit.
You can find Scraptastic Club and Purple Cows links on my side bar ➦➦➦
Here is another layout I created with the kit.
Perfect for summer pictures, beach pictures, spring pictures.
Pretty much anything really.
I also used the Purple Cows Autumn Punch it on the corners.
I love scrapbooking these beach photos.
Everything on the page is from the kit.
And here is my new tattoo.
It is a very cool Tiki Hello Kitty Face with the words
"Kekoa Survives"
What it means for me is....the other half of my life.
My survivor strong side.
Kekoa means: The Warrior or The Strong One
and Survives because I really feel it takes such tenacity and
strength to survive all the abuse and pain I had in my life.
It reminds me of how strong I can be when needed.
I LOVE this tattoo! I am so excited to take better photos.
I will share when it heals.

It was a much needed break and I felt so cool getting it on my own
the tattoo artist Renee from Touch Of South, well she is just incredible.

Ok enough of my personal chatter, sorry to hog the blog with tattoo
chat I know some people find it offensive, but it's just me :)
Happy Wednesday my friends, I love ya~

~All Things Altered Blog Hop~

Good morning my crafty friends!!

Welcome to the "All Things Altered Blog Hop"!!
My friend Pam asked me to join her blog hop and it's so much fun.
Many prizes along the way.....you should have arrived from Pam's

For this blog hop I made a chalkboard from a old frame and the paint
of my choice. (recipe below).
I used vintage lace, twine, a Purple Cows punch, pearl pens, paint
unsanded tile grout, old frame, and a small board.
I actually began the chalkboard at a Pinterest Party, then my friend
Melody brought it home for me so I could finish it off.

Here is the homemade chalkboard paint recipe:

Start with flat-finish latex paint in any shade. For small areas, such as a door panel, mix 1 cup at a time.

1. Pour 1 cup of paint into a container. Add 2 tablespoons of unsanded tile grout. Mix with a paint stirrer, carefully breaking up clumps.

2. Apply paint with a roller or a sponge paintbrush to a primed or painted surface. Work in small sections, going over the same spot several times to ensure full, even coverage. Let dry.

3. Smooth area with 150-grit sandpaper, and wipe off dust.

4. To condition: Rub the side of a piece of chalk over entire surface. Wipe away residue with a barely damp sponge.

Ok on to the next blog....
Be sure to comment on EVERY blog to be entered to win.
Many prizes along the way!!

~My Long Beautiful Road & Sweet Friends~

Good morning my friends,

While we are in the midst of spring break and 86 degree days here in TN,
I took time out in my craft room to create this week.

Ok it's mostly hiding from the boys LOL
I created this layout "My Long Beautiful Road", with some
snapshots I took a month ago. Hubs called me at 6am and said "Hurry
go to the railroad tracks and fields and take photos!"
It was a beautiful frosty wonderland. He knows me so well.
Anyways this railroad shot really gave me some reflection on my life this year.
The lessons I am learning as I get older.
Journaling: As I approach 40 I see now that people who want to
find fault with you, are insecure and not always worth the pain they
bring to your life. If they choose to see you as a bad person you cannot
fix their choice no matter how much kindness or love you give to them.
Just let the insecurity go~
You cannot blame yourself for others insecurities.
Treasure those who love you for your kindness & love.
I used the amazing Samantha Walker papers, and the sweet
Purple Cows Punch to make the banner. :)
Here is the original photo I took. Such a fantastic morning
it really gave me so much to think about and gave me such inner peace.
Oh and I wanted to show you a couple shots I took yesterday!
Miss P is going to be in a pageant and we needed a head shot,
she did not want to sit still for anything LOL but I did get some
cute candid shots of her. :)

Isn't she precious, it was a sweet day.
What a blessing she is in my life.
I am so blessed to be surrounded by sweet little girls and
some amazing boys too. It's going to be a fantastic summer!!!
Cannot wait for the picnics, park trips, and parties.
I think this sun is really helping my mood LOL
Happy Hump Day my friends!!!!

~Kids Crafts-Laminating Fun~

Good morning my crafty friends....

I had a fun project this weekend with my boys, well my one boy LOL
He came to me Sunday and said "Mom I have a project due, we need to
go to the store and get poster board and go get it laminated and I need clovers too"
HUH?? LOL Really?? I just had oral surgery kid LOL

Thankfully I had my handy dandy laminator from Purple Cows,
And the extra long 20" laminating sheets, along with some sturdy cardstock.
I was tickled pink about it because it meant I could stay home.
I grabbed my Purple Cows Laminator, Purple Cows trimmer,
green cardstock, laminating sheets, crayons and markers
and let him go crazy.
Pretty cute right???! :)
Anyways it was a lifesaver, totally handy to have one on hand
especially if you are a teacher or have kids.

Now....COME BACK TOMORROW! I have a special blog hop
and 2 projects to share...also Thursday I have 2 projects to share.
