~Acrylic Fun In The Snow~

Happy Tuesday my friends,

Well yesterday was an eventful day, I went to the beauty parlor
(yes I know I sound 60...just shut it LOL)...and got my hair chopped off.
A good 5" for winter. Its a fun do, and we also went to buy some paint for the
livingroom!! Very excited to be painting my livingroom.

This is one of the last two cards for this class of 8.
Just thought I would share with y'all.
I have really enjoyed making these holiday cards.
I love using acrylic.
I had a similar one published last year.
All fun times~

I guess I better get cracking on these cards since I need about
30 more in the next week for Christmas card mailing.

I also wanted to share my stash clean out in my craft room.
If you are interested in anything please just holler at me! :)
These All In One Cuttlebug systems I am selling the entire
kit for 50.00 plus shipping it is new except the one plate I used it twice
and it retails at 100.00 for all so it's a good deal! :)
Ok I am off to finish these classes and fix this hair!

Happy Tuesday and Happy Holidays!~

~Create - With Vintage Detail~

 Good morning friends,

I thought I had better blog since I have not been able to post to Facebook
all weekend. Oh how I love glitches LOL

I created this clear acrylic layout with a vintage flair this weekend.
These little intricate hearts and vines are the Globecraft Memories
Piccolo line and I also used the beautiful Vintage Gold Piccolo embossing enamel.
I also edged the paper with the enamel powder.
For the "Create" I used the Clear Scraps acrylic Expressions,
then I spritzed the back with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz, finally I
added alcohol inks and some Viva Decor Pearl pen.
Overall I really love the vintage look.
The paper is from Bo Bunny, one paper I do not use often
but always love when I do!
Don't forget to "Like" Globecraft Memories on Facebook.
One of my newest friends. VERY interesting and unique products!

Today we begin my youngest son's baseball tournaments,
it should be a fun week, let's hope it is COOL! :)
Happy Monday my friends~

~Preserving Baby Memories~

Good morning!!! :) I have a fun layout to share today.

Tally Scrapper had a fun challenge for Survivor which was to use
a picture of socks, a pair of socks, or a word in the title Socks.
So I used baby socks on my layout and the title.
What a fun way to keep those baby socks! :)
I used alot of Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket,
My Little Yellow Bicycle, and even American Crafts
It's so funny because when I bought socks for my babies I thought they would
fit the first 3 months, and be so cute BUT they only fit about 2 weeks LOL
That was a shocker with my huge boys LOL :)
Anyways I had alot of fun with it and it preserves our family memories for
years to come!! :)

Had a bad day yesterday, took the boys to the Dr. yesterday and both
my boys have Walking Pneumonia and double ear infections.
It's going to be a hard week ahead. I feel so bad for them :(
If you have an extra prayer please send it my way! :)♡♡♡

~Hand Made Gifts *Dry Erase Board VIDEO tutorial!* & WINNER!~

Happy St. Patrick's Day my friends!

I have fun project today that would make amazing hand made gifts.
First of all I want to let you know this was not my original idea, I helped
people make them it at CKC Louisville in the Clear Scraps Booth.

But I put my own twist on it :) And I told Susan (the owner) I was
going to make a video tutorial with the idea and she loved it!
This would make a lovely Teacher's Gift or even a gift for a child's room!
Here is the how to video!!

I love it! This is why working in the booths is so inspiring and fun!
I did not add the dry erase marker yet, but I am going to tie it on a pearl strand.

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone! I am off to a Dr. App and baseball tonight,
BUSY times ahead! :) It is officially baseball season!

OHHH and real quick, the winner of the St Patty's Day outfit!

~When Crafting Goes Bad~ hehe

Good morning my crafty friends!

That's right...sometimes crafting goes bad LOL

I was working on this project with my YuDu this week and
adding some flowers and flourishes with white in and
wouldn't you know it???
Not only was the screen bad (from using it so much) and it left a mark
but also the white ink bottle broke in my hand!! LOL
I am happy I took pictures before I ruined it....OI!
I really have to stop being so hard on myself and just let it go...
I thought I would share with you the pre-mess outfit!! :)

Anyways, I am knee deep in inventory for Tally Scrapper
it all came yesterday and I am working to fill old orders.
Then off to Fed Ex and the PO. They are calling for snow tomorrow
and it looks like possibly 4" so I better get done now!

I hope you have better luck with your crafting today!!
~Have a wonderful Tuesday~

♥~Hello Saturday, You Are Loved~♥

Good morning my amazingly talented friends,
you are LOVED by me ♥

I wanted to thank you all for the comments yesterday and clear
up a question repeated all day yesterday...
My favorite color LOL
It is not pink but to be perfectly honest, I have no favorite color
I love so many colors...I cannot decide.

I have a fun layout I made this week.
You know I am trying to fill this 8.5X11 album I have
and I do love making this size.

I have had this picture for a while now and have
been dying to scrap it! I RARELY get the opportunity to scrap a girl,
let alone a baby girl! I might have to send this to her mother :) My SIL.
I used Cosmo Cricket Togetherness line
because this is a Purple Cows project.
You just might see it on the Purple Cows site! :)
I also used my Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro...and speaking of
Glue Arts...I did not know they made a Glue Glider Max!
I am going to have to hunt one down and review it,
see how awesome it is?! Has anyone out there used it?
Let me know, I want to hear~

I am so excited this morning....yesterday I sent in my first
official magazine publication project!

They contacted me on Thursday night.
So, if you want to see it in person you can look in the
June/July issue of the new Cricut Magazine
I hope this is the first of many and it does encourage me to submit!
I have to admit I suck at submitting...but that's going to change now!

Oh and I wanted to thank you all for the fun comments yesterday.
I had a ball reading them and it was a fun post, Imaginisce
really makes me so happy!

~I hope you have a wonderful Saturday,
sending beautiful thoughts your way~

~Taking A Break To Scrap During The Holidays~

♥Good morning my crafty friends, and
a very Merry Christmas to you all♥

I am slipping behind on blogging again, the holidays have thrown
a wrench into my blogging schedule LOL
Plus my little man has been very sick...thankfully the doctor
gave him 3 shots and some new medicine so he is on the mend.

I decided to take some time for myself last night and scrap a page
just for fun. These happened to be the pictures I had on my desk so I went with it.

When I was digging in my supplies last night I found a pad of
Core Couture Cardstock from Core'dinations. I fell in LOVE so I used it.
It's all glittery and shimmery it was also a perfect pairing with the
Imaginisce Garden Party papers, which reminds me....did you see the
Imaginisce post yesterday? It was a very pleasant surprise! :)
They featured my work on the entire blog post here
I took the chipboard tags from that line and covered them with
glitter then I used the Glue Arts U CUT IT 3D pack to pop up the
hand cut flowers and the Ribbon Adhesive to adhere the lace. I love
that Imaginisce pairs with Glue Arts, it makes my pages so easy!

Yesterday I had a wonderful day with girlfriends, I made
red velvet cupcakes and had a ball ♥

Well I am off to the Dr again today and hopefully finish baking.
~Have a wonderful day, thank for stopping by~

~Do you YuDu? I do! & Holiday Traditions~

Good morning!
I have been playing with my YuDu this week in the midst
of all the chaos. You know I tell it like it is...I do tell the truth on my blog.

I thought i was not going to like it...but I cannot tell you how much
fun it is!!!! Oh I love it! I have already done 3 shirts and a couple of
Provocraft projects plus this pillow for the holidays
I love the simple elegance.
No I will not be the next 6 color printer but for basic awesome screen
printing, it works like a charm!
Plus I am thinking of making panels that I can velcro on
to the pillow covers and change them out every season! :)

For this Gingerbread man I cut it out in black on my Cricut
using the Winter Frolic cartridge, then I scanned it in my computer
and printed it onto my transparency.
Next goal?? Open my Imagine!!!!!
Oh and make a YuDu video....

By the way, I was worried about how clean the print would
be and you can see it prints the image clean.
Wait until you see the next Cricut Circle magazine and my YuDu project~~

Ok I am off to bake and prep today, last night I made my Jell-o
it's the beginning of my prep work! Today- pies and cookies.

After we moved away from all of our family in Oregon
I decided (ok me and hubs decided) that we would begin
our own family traditions.

One of them is that I make Jell-o Parfaits in individual glasses
and we break out special holiday goblets.
It is so silly but I wanted to make something special for my boys
and something they would remember year after year.
I think this year I will take pictures and scrap about the JELLO! haha

What are your traditions?
~Happy Wednesday everyone~

glittery fun with this awesome Clear Scraps Mixable album!
This is 100% Imaginisce Cottage Christmas
I love the wintery line, it is not only for Christmas
but the snowy moments of winter.

for the glittering.
My awesome i-rock & i-top (will be demo-ing those in class)
And a TON of Glitter!!!!!!!!
Oh and the amazing Glue Arts Glue for the paper,
and the Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive for the lace, pearls! *WOOT*

~Glittery Fun Pumpkin Decorating Tutorial Using Cricut~

Good morning my amazingly talented crafty friends.

Not every day is a scrap day and this week I will be working
on some fun Halloween projects.
My son's teacher asked me to decorate a class
pumpkin for a contest.
The theme was Just Say BOO To Drugs
and this is what I came up with.
Of course you could use any theme you like :)

First of all I painted a BIG 10" spot of orange
Extreme Glitter on the front. Now if I had added another coat it would
have been PURE glitter, but I wanted it to be more subtle and less
feminine for the class room. This Extreme GlitterPaint is amazing!Set Pumpkin aside to dry, then using your Cricut and some Cricut vinyl
Cut your desired shape (I used cut (skull) at 8" Pumpkin Carving Cartridge)
Adhere Cricut cut shaped vinyl to from of pumpkin making sure
to pinch excess vinyl together (since a pumpkin is pretty bumpy).
Now you have 2 options, if you want a solid paint use
Folk Art Acrylic Paint, but I wanted a spooky shadowy effect
so I used a cheap can of spray paint.
I began thinking I wanted it fully painted black,
however when I saw the spooky shadow effect I decided to
leave it like this, I loved the look of it in the end.
Spritz paint lightly coating 3 times (LIGHTLY)
set aside to dry.
After I set the pumpkin aside to dry I went into my craft room
and created these tags, they were all from the Pumpkin Carving Cartridge.
I used Bazzill Glazed cardstock, and on the glittery ones I
painted them with the matching Extreme Glitter Orange Paint.
I used Thickers, and my Elmers scalloped scissors. Then I took a wire hanger, I cut the ends off.
I made sure to double cut all tags, I used Beacon Zip Dry to adhere
them to the hanger and cover the back with the second cut.
I know the Beacon Zip Dry will last and not fall apart.
That's it! Easy right? And no carving :)
If you decide to make one I would love to see your version!!!

~Happy Halloween!~
~Have a wonderful day today~
~Thank you for popping by and saying hey'~
