You Can Make It....

Hello friends and hello Monday...

I know that Avocado Arts has really fun adorable stamps, but they
also have amazing messages in some of the sets, like this month's set
You Can Do It is definitely inspiring to me.

I created this bubble frame- believe it or not it is chipboard LOL and I
added the stamped sentiment onto cork paper.
I just wanted something to hang in my room and remind me to keep
on trying every single day.

BE SURE to hit up Avocado Arts and comment on my post- they are giving away
prizes this month for commenting!!

~Clear Acrylic Glitter Word Ornament Tutorial!~

Merry Christmas to my crafty friends!!!
I am really in the ornament making mood and when I found these mini Expressions from Clear Scraps in my pile of goodness I thought it would be PERFECT to create even more fun ornaments.
Step 1. Remover protective film from the back of the Expressions. Leaving the front film in tact.
Step 2. Coat back of Expressions in adhesive and Clearsnap glitter, set aside to dry.
Step 3. Take Bell Mini Album or any wintery design from
Clear Scraps, remove both sides of protective film.
Step 4. Using Piccolo embossing adhesive- apply embossing enamel
or powder to edges on the adhesive.
Step 5. GENTLY and slowly heat set using embossing gun. Just lightly place heat on and remove quickly, working your way around the Clear Scraps acrylic. If it begins to warp immediately remove heat then press gently with finger or tweezers.
Step 6. Using Crop-A-Dile punch small holes where you want to thread ornament.
Step 7. Thread ornament using thin mesh ribbon. Knotting in the back.
Step 8. Create bow using same ribbon, adhere to top of Bell Mini Album Page.
Not only easy but beautiful and handmade!
I wish I had my tree up to photograh but it's not quite ready yet,
I will be sure to share when it's up and on the tree!

~GOLD & Silver Snow Globe Card~

Good morning everyone,
Can you believe it is December 1st already?? Where has 2012 gone?

I love this new Smitten With You stamp set from
Avocado Arts and thought it would be fun to play with embossing
enamels and the snow globe stamps...just for the holidays.
I will be the first one to tell you this was a nightmare to photograph! LOL
These stamps are so crisp and clear but I could not get them to show as
much as I wanted. Don't you hate that?! :)
Anyways it is an amazing stamp set from the snow globe
to the beautiful snowflakes and I think the embossing enamel in
silver and gold really set it off! :)  I love it.
I used Globecraft/Piccolo embossing powders and Momenta papers.
Fun stuff
Dont forget to visit all the girls, they are incredibly talented!

~*GIVEAWAY ALERT* Happy Bugs & Embossing w/ VLVS!~

Good morning my friends and happy Cyber Monday! :)

I spent the holiday weekend with the family and had a beautiful
time, relaxing and enjoying the kids and friends.
**Giveaway below**

I also managed to sneak away and craft quite a bit.
Happy Bugs contacted me last week and asked me if I wanted
to do an honest review on their Static Free bags.
I thought I would try it but really didn't understand the premise
UNTIL I tried it! :)
I decided to get out my new Viva Las VegaStamps plate 1302 and
try heat embossing. I figure that is pretty much an ultimate test.
Look how clean and clear my image came out even with the embossing.
I wanted to make some home decor for Christmas, so I went with a canvas.
I had never tried heat embossing canvas before but it was a fun time.
I LOVE the texture for sure!
But where the Happy Bugs came in was the paper stamped image.
I tried it with and without the powder and it was noticeably crisper with the
Happy Bugs pouch. Both images were clean and crisp BUT the embossing
powder really stuck around on the paper without the Happy Bugs
and even though it was clear it definitely was not as crisp.
Here you can see every letter, and the window streaks too! :)
For embossing that's pretty cool.
Anyways I am super stoked about my cool new project!
Very happy with the Happy Bugs pouch.

And they sent me TWO so I can give one away...
that's the super awesome part of the day.
I will throw in a goody in the bag as well if you win.

If you want to buy one of your own they are on sale Cyber Monday ONLY
for 2.99!!! CRAZY reduced price right here

But also please enter to WIN right here!!!!
Just leave a comment for your chance to win and YES I am
throwing in a prize of my own worth 10.00.
Just for the holidays and because I love my fans.

If you share this post on your FB or Twitter and let me know
I will enter your name twice. Happy Holidays and thank you for
your amazing friendships and following~

~Embossing W/ Enamel Powders & Stamps~

Good morning and happy day before Thanksgiving!

I know you all are probably running around crazy busy, today
is my baking day. Most of my close friends left town for Thanksgiving
but a few stragglers stayed, and we will be spending the day together.

I am in charge of the pies! :) Anyways...on to the crafts right?

I created this card using Momenta papers (I love their new lines) and
to add the copper colors. And I used Avocado Arts stamps to create the
trees, then I used the enamel powder on them to make it really special.

I love the whole look, if I had enough paper I would make all my Christmas
cards just like these! I also used a White Pearl Pen to create the snow~
I had a fun time with this one...you should totally try the enamel powders! :)

Ok off to bake my friends...
I will be taking tomorrow off but coming back with a special project
on Friday for a special BLOG HOP!
Plenty of prizes to so please come back if you have a chance.
Happy Wednesday.

~.10 Cent Home Decor Project!~

Good morning crafters!

I totally scored a couple months ago at Hobby Lobby, I bought this damaged
wall hanging for .10 cents...LITERALLY! :)
See it is here ⇓⇓⇓
It had a big chip off the corner.
So I decided to take it home and make it mine...all mine! haha
I took a wire brush and hammer and knocked off all the edges.
Then I used Enamel Embossing Powder to distress the edges
and make the DREAM pop up.
I LOVE it now, isn't she beautiful?

~World Card Making Day Fun!

Good morning my crafty friends,
all you card makers probably have heard it is World Card Making Day
today so in the spirit of card making I made this fun little card.
Don't you love the patina on the frame?
I created it myself using the Piccolo Vintage Copper Enamel Powder.
The papers are all Momenta, and the metal dragonfly too.
And of course the stamp is Avocado Arts.
OH and the ink is Colorbox ink. I love how it all came together,
the newest Momenta papers are amazing!!! :)
And I definitely am thankful for all my blog friends
Thanks for continuing on this journey with me.
I am blessed with INCREDIBLE friends and a wonderful family.

~WINNER + Mini Fresh Baking Layout~

Good morning and happy Friday my friends,

I wanted to share a mini layout I created a couple weeks ago.
It is not my normal 12X12 size but a 6X6 size...I
have to admit I love these mini sizes though! :)

I used the Piccolo Enamel and intricate chipboard.
you can find a step by step tutorial on this layout
on the Globecraft Memories Blog
I used some old Bo Bunny papers and I love the vintage feel.
Perfect for my vintage life of baking for the boys :)
These photos were from the blueberries we picked this year.

Now for the winner of the Art Set
Blogger Sue D said...

~ 2 Projects (Frame & Layout) + My BIG Little Man~

 Good morning my friends,

I have a dual purpose post today.
#1 projects of course but #2 is my BIG little man.

13/14 years ago I cam into my husband's life and became mommy to
a very stubborn boy who was as cute as a button. After taking these pictures
last night I see he is growing up! LOL

But first I wanted to share this new Globecraft Memories Bubble Frame
If you want to see the step by step blow for this project please head
to the Globecraft Memories Blog and check it out.
Now this is not my usual company to work for but I LOVE them!
So be sure to like them on Facebook too!
Tell them Pinky sent ya~
You could win goodness too :)

Ok on to the photos I shot last night...
This is Bradley's tournament game, can't believe how big he has gotten
from those days when he was learning to tie his shoes and not throw a fit LOL

He didn't get to play in elementary school and middle school since
we had moved but moving here was the BEST thing we ever did, I have never
seen this kid happier and healthier! :)
He loves his baseball, glad he had no choice but to let me take pictures LOL

I have one more project to share- a digital layout
I made of my little helper Austyn who came to visit and craft
last week. Love that kid! :)
All good stuff...now back to the ball field tonight...last week of tournaments
until the 13th of July...oh the life of a ball mom.
Happy Tuesday my friends~
