Blessed & Grateful Fall Card

Hey guys, today with one of my November kit projects,
this fall themed "Blessed and Grateful" card that I created using
the Blessings Chipboard Expression from the
I started with a card stock base card (from my stash),
and created a copper shimmer card stock cover using my own card stock,
and then used the pretty maple leaf patterned paper for the front.
I spray painted the Blessing Chip Word with gold metallic
paint then lightly rubbed some brown
StazOn on the word to bring out the texture.

I also rubbed the StazOn ink along the edges of the card.
I used the stickers from to kit to create the card itself and
added the "and" from the letter stickers.
This would make a great Thanksgiving Card for a family
or best friend of course. The Blessed Chipboard
would make a fantastic title on a layout, card, even a sun catcher, any thing  is possible.
Grab your kit while it's here!
Cannot wait for December and all the winter/Christmas CRAFTING!

Scrap N' Art Fun From March

As most of you know a couple months ago I started working with
Scrap N' Art Magazine, this was one of my first projects for them.
A vintage style Clear Scraps Clipboard.
I used one of the Clear Scraps kits, but changed it all up using paint
and stamps of course.

Thanks For Hopping Over....Handmade Card! :)

Morning friends, I have another AA card to share today! :)
For this card I trimmed out two sweet bunnies
and colored the ears and noses with my Copics,
then added the stamp set on a grungy paper.
This stamp set is so amazing I just love it.

Grateful For You..Always

Good morning friends,

I have a special project to share today- this card I created on the CutCardStock
blog that says Grateful For You- and especially on this day I am very grateful
to ALL of the first responders and military this great place has.
It's my first project for CutCardStock and I have a step by step tutorial on
their blog right here. http://www.cutcardstock.blogspot.com/
I would love for you to head over and see it.

I used the amazing CutCardStock products and my Avocado Arts
stamp set! :) I love this combo for sure.

So as we remember today- I send my love and gratefulness to all of the amazing
people who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe and well protected.

Blog Feature- Mary Ann Jenkins~

Happy Saturday!!!

I thought it would be fun to start a new thing on my blog- to
find blogs I like and feature them one day- I think twice a month I will
do this. I know there are so many talented artists out there.

This is Mary Ann's blog I randomly came across her and
just ADORE her work!

How adorable is this card??
And this gorgeous layout!
Mary Ann's soft subtle sense of style left me smiling.
I couldn't wait to email her to ask to feature her work.

I don't blog hop much but I am going to make an effort now!
Thanks Mary Ann- fantastic work girl!

Be sure to check out her blog

~Just for the kids this Monday~

Good morning!! How are you today??!
It is President's Day so no school, plus we have
beautiful white flakes on the ground...SNOW DAY!

I did not scrap this weekend, I spent the entire weekend
with company at my house, hosting a crop st SFTIO,
and with the family playing games, baking, and reading.

But I did want to share with you a kids craft today.
Don't you LOVE those no pressure
to be perfect, no pressure to be "adult", those...
you know every child will see magic and
you will see sparkles in their eyes projects!?!Well I had the pleasure and blessing of hosting
a Valentine's Day party in my son's 2nd Grade class
and this is the craft I brought for them to make.
I left the paper plain white so they could draw and decorate
any way they wanted, they did a great job too!
I wish I had time to take pictures of the amazing cards they made!
I grabbed my Fiskars Squeeze punches and my Imaginisce punches
and let them make peek-a-boo cards.
They LOVED IT!
The favorite punch was the Imaginisce I-Top Paper Punch
they used that thing again and again, one girl even
drew a cheerleader and used the punch as pom poms!
So much fun!
Even the moms jumped in to play hehehe
I hope you all had an amazing Valentine's Day!
I just adore ya!

I am off to play with the boys and hopefully play with paper today!
~Have a great day~

~Hi! It's Monday...

Morning all you amazing crafty peeps!
I am late this morning, this weekend has been particularly difficult.
My back has been really bad which lead to a severe migraine
which is not quite 100% gone yet, plus the kids are home for MLK Day.
But I cannot complain, I am alive and smiling this morning.

Remember that Badge Daddies Pin I shared? I decided to make a card to put it in...
I used the Lucy Bird line from Imaginisce since it matched perfectly!
I have been on the hunt for the Lucy Bird line in stores but have
only found it at TwoPeas and A Cherry On Top
but it's coming! I love this line...I think if I had 4 packs I could
use it all just because of that yummy brown and pink polka dot paper LOL

On a side note, did you catch the Golden Globes last night?
I never watch award shows, not even the Oscars but hubby clicked it on
for a bit and I caught Monique winning and her beautiful glory!
Monique inspires me to stop stressing on self loathing and my weight
and look at all the good I can accomplish, and focus on being happy and fulfilled.
Every time I see her I see her beauty and wish I had those eyes for myself!
A little jolt back to my normal self is just what I needed! Thanks Monique!
Thanks for reminding me I am beautiful no matter what size and
I need to remember I can do anything!
Thanks for the PSA today! LOL

OK off to spend the day with my crazy boys...
I baked home made cinnamon rolls last night and they are begging for more!
~Have a great Monday~
~Stay tuned for the flower winner tomorrow~

Happy Sunday morning!

I made my list about December/Christmas/Holiday time.
I just LOVE LOVE the new Pink Paislee Christmas/Winter paper!
All my blogs will be short and sweet this week due to packing and the move.

~The holidays are coming...and fast!~

Afternoon everyone!
This is the project I have been working on today,
Place cards for the holidays!
I will be hosting Thanksgiving at my house for the first time in 3 years!
I am SOOOOOO excited, I used to host every year in Oregon
but since we moved, #1 we did not know anyone
#2 we did not feel settled enough.
So this year is going to be a hoot!

This is part of my DT work for Treasured, if you are
not signed up for their newsletter, go sign up!
The full instructions for this make and take project including measurements
will be in the newsletter!
I love Fall and I love the holidays!
I hope your Thanksgiving looks to be good this year!

~Thanks for stopping by today~
We are closing on the home either Friday or Monday so
I am going to be scarce for the next couple weeks. Hopefully
I can get everything set up ahead of time to blog!
~Have a great day~
