BEE Mine w/ Avocado Arts And Krylon

Good morning friends,

Have I mentioned how happy I am to be back with Avocado Arts?
I have another card today I created with some cute bees flying around.
This is a Bendi Card shape for my Silhouette and I used some Little B
flowers on it. The stamps are of course Avocado Arts!
And the card stock? Guess what? It's all the same color,
but I spray painted it to coordinate with KRYLON! Love that stuff.
Makes me crafting so much easier if I don't have the exact color I need
I just go paint it and add texture too.
Check out the awesome stamps:

Handmade Burlap Ornament Gift Set

Hello again friends, it's time for the monthly Samantha Walker
Creative Team Blog Hop and the theme this month is Homemade Holiday Gift Ideas.

I always love making ornaments as gifts, one year I created a full
set of cupcake ornaments, and I usually do an exchange as well. This year
I decided to make some vintage style burlap ornaments using the
Take heavy duty overstock paper I used metallic paper.
"Ungroup" tags and choose style you want with open area in the middle.
Trim out 2 of each.
Using the middle cuts you will throw out or save, use as template
and cut burlap slightly larger to fit into frame.
Adhere both sides of tags to each other with burlap in the center.
Add snowflake or flowers, then add gemstones to each side.
You can use leftover burlap strands to hang ornaments,
I folded it over 4 times and tied it.
I also hot glued a burlap bow to the bottom.
They have a very soft vintage style perfect for any tree really.

The nest stop on the blog hop is Diane:

This month the  hop the prize will be the $10 gift card to digiplayground.com.

They will announce the Blog Hop Winner on Monday, 12/15 on Samantha's Facebook Page.

Snowflake Ornament

Hey friends, hello Monday....
I was included in an ornament exchange this weekend and I decided
to make mine, thankfully I had a friend who wanted it! hahaha
It's similar to a style I created last year using a snowflake SVG from SW
with some heavy duty Cutcardstock and a crystal angel at the bottom
from Connie Crystal.
I also spritzed it with glitter...I mean DUH hahaha
It was a fun ornament to make.

Set Of Clear Handmade Christmas Cards

 Hey friends, it's FINALLY FRIDAY!
Hope your holiday season is good as it begins. Today I have a set of three
Christmas cards I created from the December Kit.
You know sometimes cards don't have to be layered and fancy to be
simply beautiful. Sometimes have an acrylic front or something really
unique just makes it gorgeous from the start.
There was acrylic in the December Kit so I cut it down and created these cards.
Each one has a different image from the Simple Stories line in the kit.
I added ribbon and glitter from my stash but the rest was the kit.
Can't wait to give these out this year, if I get around to mailing!
Happy Friday friends.

Snow Falling Ornament Plus Instructions

Hey there friends,
How crafty do you feel around the holidays?
It's like asking if a polar bear is white right? LOL

1. Using heavy duty card stock and SW SVG Oval Frame file- cut 2 in 2 colors.
2. Trim out Clear Scraps acrylic to fit in between (trim 2 CS acrylic pieces).
3. Adhere glitter to oner side of the acrylic piece.
4. After glue dries, adhere acrylic sheets together creating sealed glitter snow.
5. Adhere oval frame together alternating frame colors.
6. Adhere two frames together with acrylic in between.
7. Punch hole into top.
8. Add snowflakes and gemstones.
9. Thread ribbon through.

It's actually a heavy duty ornament! :)

Fall Theme Luminaries Instructions Included!

 Happy Monday friends,
Most of you know my son has Autism, this weekend was so cool because he competed
in an archery tournament. You know he quit baseball because the coaches
were s intense with him, he had nightmares and was picked on by
the "cool" kids...so archery has been a BLESSING in so many ways.
A sport that he not only seems to be starting well at but also
no one bullies him or YELLS at him to do better or HIT THE BALL!
I love that the sport is coached by officers who care so much.

Anyways he won the "Spirit Award" this weekend. great weekend for him.

Anyways he is so scared of the dark, and lately we have had power outages
in our area, so I decided to make him these little luminary bags to set
on his dresser when the power goes out.
Inside they contain a battery operated flameless candle, completely
safe and perfect to keep him feeling comforted.
If you go to the Samantha Walker Blog you will find a set of step
by step instructions to make your own using Krylon paint paired with SW cut files!

These would also make wonderful holiday table decor, or even
on your TV stand etc....they are so easy to make and pretty to boot!
