Neon Rainbow Tag? Yes Please!

Hey there again! THREE days in a row, I am getting my crafty groove back! :)

This is my tag for March using the new Clear Scraps Tag Album & Tag Box Set from the 2016 CHA Release!
I was really feeling the rainbow, neon vibe so I decided to experiment and make a very colorful tag for the month.
For this take I used four different alcohol inks which I dropped onto the back of the tag from the Tag Album after removing the protective film. Then I allow it to dry.I tamped it with a dabber to spread it all out.
After it dried completely I used a very light yellow spray paint (Krylon) to paint over and make it more opaque.
You will never guess what I used for the Clear Scraps Butterfly Mixers?! I used nail polish, yes regular old nail polish. They were sitting by my craft table the I thought the colors would go so well, so I removed the protective film from the backs of the butterflies, then I coated each one in nail polish and set it aside to dry while I created the stamped sentiment.
Now I tried to stamp on the tag directly but the color wasn't as bright as I wanted, so I used nail polish remover and removed the stamped image and stamped it on paper. Then distressed it with StazOn green inks.
I used a vivid green ribbon for the top after everything tried up nicely and yes it takes some time, but it was worth it, changing techniques.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, it was a fun experiment!
Have a wonderful Thursday friends...

Love And Laugh MINI Clipboard! NEW CHA 2016!

Hey there! Happy Friday friends,
You know last year Clear Scraps came out with these amazing Acrylic Clipboards,
well this year for CHA 2016 they came out with MINI Clipboards, and
of course a whole new slew of stencils as well!
Also the LAUGH is one of their new Chipboard Word Titles.
For this project I used one of the new Mascils/Stencils, and Krylon
Gold Metallic spray paint, then after I painted it gold and let it dry,
I painted over it with a teal blue spray paint.

When it was all dried I added mermaid rhinestones, and
Pearl Dots. For the title I spray painted it the same blue, then
glittered it with gold while the paint was still wet.

It was a fun project that was at CHA 2016 this year.
Even if it's not a scrapbook page, I still love creating for home decor
or even just personal style.

Have a wonderful Friday friends!

Art Is Heart Acrylic Mixed Media Clipboard

Hello friends, and welcome Monday (not really LOL)

I have a fun NEW CHA release to share again, a brand new
Clear Scraps Acrylic Clipboard that I turned into a Mixed Media Art piece
for my crafting room. Really I just wanted to experiment with some
mediums with the Mascils.
So I found out that if you want to use water based acrylic crackle paint
which I use reg acrylic paint on acrylic all the time no problem but the
crackle paint flies off into a million pieces, so you have to seal it when you put it on WET,
then I added more paint because of all the flaking, but in the end
I love it! :)
I did the Bokeh with the Krylon spray paints again only this time I
did it all on the back in layers! :)
Then added the texture to the front and embellishments.
It's girl and love-y like me...
I love art and everyone who creates it is just beautiful working with
their hands and creativity, so it's all good people!!!

Welcome Monday! :)

Our Home Acrylic Clipboard

Hey there friends, I am BACK FROM CALI!
And back from CHA. Honestly I did not take too many photos it was a busy
whirlwind trip. My favorite part of my trip was hearing Jim tell me how he met
Susan (Frase from Clear Scraps) and share their stories.
Also meeting gals I had never met before and old friends of course.

Angela and I- old buds from an icy hotel stay to warm CHA!
 Susan and I.

Here was the Beacon booth, you know I love Beacon! :)
And the restaurant we went to the last night! :)
Anyways I had fun and met up with so many sweet uplifting spirits.
And two sweet ladies who allowed me to bunk with them!
I have a new nickname  "Pink Angel" I will tell you about that later on.

BUT in the meantime this is my project for the CME Kit Club and it's
one of the newest Clear Scraps Acrylic Clipboards that are actually in the kit!
I spray painted the back with Metallic Gold Krylon spray paint, then
I added pearls to the front edges.
After that I spray painted the flowers in the kit to match in Metallic Gold
Krylon and Coral.
Then I used a Clear Scraps Mascil to spray paint the front
using Coral Krylon.
And the edges of the BLESSED card
Here is is all assembled. I love this one! :)
You can paint anything to match and I love the versatility of the clipboard.
See you all tomorrow I have projects to share! :) Happy Monday.

Pets Are A Blessing NEW CHA Design Bokeh Style!

Brand new for 2015 these cool Word Boards are a fantastic
design from Clear Scraps the year.

I used Clear Scraps Mascils and Krylon Spray Paint to create a sort of
"Bokeh" style design in the background.
By overlapping the stencil it created this out of focus look.

I had fun making it, I cannot wait to create more of these boards!
Wat do you think of the new designs so far?? I love them!

Faith Bookmark

Hello Tuesday and hello friends,
Today I chose to share this bookmark I created using the CME January Kit.
I took the Clear Scraps Expression FAITH from the kit and spray painted it
using metallic gold and coral spray paint.
Then I trimmed out two pieces of patterned paper to fit
just around the word Faith.
 I adhered them together.
Then added the acrylic sentiment and a ribbon.
I think I will send it to now of my more religious friends.
Unique and pretty for the book at hand.

Happy Tuesday :)
