Vintage Tag and Bicycle Card Projects

Happy Monday my friends, today I actually have another project to share!
This one is a Vintage Card and Tag set that I created using the August kit
from Creating Made Easy.
I literally fell in love with everything from this kit and not only did I create a full Mini Album,
a Layout, and a Card Tag combo but I also went on to make another layout,
and another Tag using the August Kit!

The card was so much fun, I took the Chipboard Bicycle in the August Kit
and painted it gold and turquoise then I dabbed the basket
on the bike with gold for more texture.

For the Tag I took the Acrylic Scalloped Frame and painted it gold,
the used the sticker in the kit that fit perfectly behind it.
The colors are to die for, I love the vintage feel!

I really enjoyed the versatility of this kit and how many projects I was able to create.
Be sure to snag yours before it's gone!
Happy Monday my friends, have a beautifully crafty day.

Neon Rainbow Tag? Yes Please!

Hey there again! THREE days in a row, I am getting my crafty groove back! :)

This is my tag for March using the new Clear Scraps Tag Album & Tag Box Set from the 2016 CHA Release!
I was really feeling the rainbow, neon vibe so I decided to experiment and make a very colorful tag for the month.
For this take I used four different alcohol inks which I dropped onto the back of the tag from the Tag Album after removing the protective film. Then I allow it to dry.I tamped it with a dabber to spread it all out.
After it dried completely I used a very light yellow spray paint (Krylon) to paint over and make it more opaque.
You will never guess what I used for the Clear Scraps Butterfly Mixers?! I used nail polish, yes regular old nail polish. They were sitting by my craft table the I thought the colors would go so well, so I removed the protective film from the backs of the butterflies, then I coated each one in nail polish and set it aside to dry while I created the stamped sentiment.
Now I tried to stamp on the tag directly but the color wasn't as bright as I wanted, so I used nail polish remover and removed the stamped image and stamped it on paper. Then distressed it with StazOn green inks.
I used a vivid green ribbon for the top after everything tried up nicely and yes it takes some time, but it was worth it, changing techniques.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, it was a fun experiment!
Have a wonderful Thursday friends...

Tags, it's all about the TAGS!

Morning friends, Clear Scraps is starting a new TAG
program where we will be taking monthly tags, and yes instructions are included!

This is my January Tag
And I have instructions on the Clear Scraps blog:

The tags are from the new Tag Album & Tag Box Set.
I loved using all the Krylon, and glitter for this one.
If you use spray adhesives to glitter the back it is easily
sealed by using either regular spray paint, or
a Clear Sealer. Either one seals in the glitter so it won't flake.
Check out the post. Hope you enjoy your week! MUAH!
Thank you for stopping by!

Special Tags for Special People

Good morning friends,
what a crazy week, I am so thankful it is FRIDAY!
Ready to get our Christmas tree this weekend and decorate the house.

I took some time to craft this week in fact I have several projects to share
in the upcoming week. This is the first one- these special glittery tags
I created using the new Creating Made Easy December Kit!

I glittered the backs- sealed them, then stamped on the front using white StazOn.
They were easy and look fantastic! :) I might even use them as ornaments?

Ok busy day ahead my son is knee deep in archery, and my other son is sick
so momma is going to try to get a cat nap today.
