Glad things are starting to settle down and you can start being creative again. I like crops, cuz it helps me meet stampers that love to do the same thing I love. I also get so many ideas and inspiration. Plus it helps feed my MOJO! Thanks for a chance. I would love to know where in Nashville you are located. I live in Ashland City.

My favorite thing would be visiting with your "fellow" croppers. I'm getting ready to go visit my sister-in-laws & a neice in MT & we have all kind of croppin' plans. We only get together twice a year but when we do there're lots of laughs & we teach each other things we've learned. We usualy have little RAKS for each other too.

I just love crops - the socializing is my favorite part. I love seeing what everyone else is working on - sharing our work with eachother, sharing ideas, etc. So I guess I could sum this up in one word SHARING!

I would have to agree with everyone. I go to a crop once a month with the same 8 people. I enjoy the chatting, laughing, food, and inspiration. I don't get much scrappin' done though!

chick you are just too much these days. I wish I lived closer I would love to come swing by. I have really only cropped with Sarah, but I like cropping with others just to get new ideas, relax, and have a little me time. I truely try to do as much as I can so I can actually learn new skills.

So glad to here that Gage is doing better and you can get back to scrapping.

My favorite thing about a crop is having the chance to look at everyone's Lo's and albums. Also, to get ides from others.

Learning from fellow scrappers. That and socializing. There are so many techniques out there that others seem to master, that I could learn from. Thats what I like about them. If I were closer, I would be there with you on Friday with bells on girl!.. hugs

My favorite thing about a crop is...EVERYTHING! I love the conversation, getting out of my house, learning new techniques, what other people have, plus it feeds my creative MOJO!

I am so HAPPY to hear that your son is on the mend. What a scare you had there!

Wish I lived closer (I'm in Minnesota!) so I could come. What a blast y'all will have.

My favorite part of a crop is not the scrapbooking. (Is that blasphemy?) It is the social interaction with other gals. I joined a local scrapbook group in March. We try to get together once a month and I so look forward to the time of laughing and lunching. Most of my friends are either coworkers or former coworkers and the conversation always includes shoptalk. My scrapbook outings are a time for fun and socialization without any connections to my job.

BTW ... I am so happy that Gage is doing better!

Pinky I am soo glad to hear Gage is ok. I was running out the door reading the post on fiskateers and didn't get a chance to email you. I prayed for him all weekend!
Lucky you...having a crop! I have lived in my house 20 years and haven't yet had the pleasure. Enjoy!

My favorite thing is the chance to be inspired by others. I don't get to go often, but when I do I love the inspiration.

I hope you have an awesome time at your crop. I'm glad things are settled enough to have it. If I ever make it down to visit my parents we'll have to meet. They live in your area (I use to too...wish I still did, I'd be there!)

Karen Brooks said...

I so wish I could be there to play!!! I hope you have a blast and since I've never really been to a crop, I would have to say my idea of the best thing at a crop would be the bonds made between scrappy friends!!!

i've only been to one and that was with close friends. I loved the company more than anything else and getting to see the style of everyone else around.
