Since the divorce, it is so difficult to blog consistently,
working and taking care of two boys by myself just limits my time.
I wish I had more blog time, I will try in 2016.
So this is a project I created for publication and here is a photo tutorial for it.

Mason Jar Recipe Album With Burlap

After a week of I am thrilled to be back.
I had to take a little break mentally for my kids and court. :)
Anyways it is September 1st and time for a new kit which means NEW projects!
I created this Mason Jar Recipe Album using the kit and it is the featured project
which means that every kit will include instructions.
I love the burlap and all the amazing goodness in this kit, you have
to check it out whether you love scrapbooking or mixed media.

I hope you love this project as much as I had fun making it.

Ok on to my project....
I have a blog post on CutCardStock today that shares exactly how I created this
cast acrylic (glass like) Clear Scraps Tri-Fold Frame.

And I topped them off with the beautiful buttons.
Here is one side of the wand.
And the other, it was such a fun set to make!
Every piece was made with love.
I used CutCardStock,

**GIFT IDEAS** Don't Sew?? Easy Couture Apron For You!

Good morning my crafty friends,
I have a fun little project to share today, you know I craft with paper
and everything else but I also sew...but this is for all my friends
who don't sew! Or who don't sew very much. :)

These aprons make fantastic handmade gifts just in time for the holidays too!
All you need is 1 yard of fabric, a pre-made apron, ribbon, and embellishments.
I used Blumenthal Lansing buttons, ribbons, and ric rac.

I just went to Walmart and bought 3.00 a yard fabric.
Took my 2.99 apron. Take the apron and cut the ties off.
KEEP THEM and keep them sorted! LOL The neck and the two sides.

Now lay the apron FACE DOWN onto the fabric.
Trimmer the fabric around the apron, leaving about 1" all the way around.
Then I folded the fabric over the edges- pinning it. Then just stitched around the apron.
You could also use an iron on adhesive if you really don't sew at all.

Then I drew a line in pencil where I wanted to ric rac to sit.
I pinned the ric rac into it. I stitched it down but you could easily adhere
it with fabric adhesive, or just hand tack it down.

Take the ties you cut off earlier, cut ribbon to match the same lengths and
sew/tack the ribbons back on in the same spots as the ties.
Add flowers or whatever embellishment your heart desires!
That's it! A handmade apron, beautiful and perfect for any cook or crafter!

I just thought it would be a fun project to share with you all in time
for the holidays and just for kicks! MUAH!

~Clearscraps BLOG HOP & gifts for Mothers Day~

Good morning all you crafty people!
I am excited about this morning because it is my first Clearscraps
blog hop *see official information below*

I wanted to make a pretty Mother's Day gift with my clear acrylic,
so I decided to make a Checkbook Cover! How fun is this?
Acrylic is perfect for this gift because it has the strength and durability
I wanted to cover the checkbook and hold stamps.
I used a Sizzix Die (I won on a blog hop last month!)
Graphic 45 papers, with some brads, and rub-ons.
I am going to add a magnetic latch tomorrow, alas...I ran out of time
my son had a baseball game so I had to shoot a picture and head out.
Behind the cover is another piece of acrylic for even better cover.
I think you could put paper inside and make a notepad
if you wanted or put a pocket calendar in there!

OK here is the official information...
PRIZES at the end!! So comment all over my friends!

Welcome to the Clear Scraps blog hop!

Oh and for anyone wondering about the chickens...
Oh my oh my LOL
I wanted to finish a little more of the story of the crazy chicken lady
I meant to clarify, when I said she spoke to the chickens about leaving
and coming to our house, I meant she had a lengthy "discussion" with
every chick about IF they wanted to leave or stay,
you know those chickens were just thinking...
"LADY, just kill me and get it over with, I can't handle one
more second in this garbage pile! Just hand me to the crazy pink haired lady
she cannot be worse than this!"
hahahaha

that's it for me today! GO BLOG HOPPING!
Tell your friends!!!
I have some stamps to giveaway tomorrow
from the Timeless Daydreams post last week.,
I apologize for the delay, I am all out of whack
from the crazy life with the weather and all.

~Have a GREAT Friday~
~Thank you for stopping by and saying hi~

~Going Green For Christmas~

We all want to recycle, upcycle, and re-use...
When Purple Cows asked me to come up with quick
holidays ideas, I went back to when I first begin scrapbooking
I love covering old CD's, remember when all the internet
companies sent out millions? They don't as much anymore but
I still have tons of old CD's to recycle.
They make GREAT gift card holders to hang on the tree.If you want the step by step on these, check out
the Project Sheets on the Purple Cows blog!
You can easily make these for yourself!
I am using mine for the teachers this year,
sticking gift cards in for photo developing or anything
else the class might need.
~Thank you for stopping by today!~
~Happy HOLIDAYS to you and yours~
I wish I could bake you all goodies and mail them out
Today I begin the platters I make for all the neighbors,
fudge, sugar cookies, snicker doodles, chocolate chip cookies,
rice crispy treats, and possibly home made bread too!
Oh and the ever present Banana bread as well...
I love Christmas and the baking!

~Have a great Friday~
~Love to all~
