~Labor Day, First Unibind Book, Chicken Butts, & A New Reveal~

Good morning my crafty friends....
are you ready for a creative day??
First the crafty stuff then the chicken updates *wink*
I received my Unibind Photobook Creator last week
and could not wait to get started!! I had a couple of
others projects to finish first then I got right to work!

Now my ideas are not the traditional photobook ideas.
I love them but I wanted to get artsy and funky!
This is an art journal book I created for me and all my crafty
friends to play with! I am going to take it to crops
and with me everywhere, allowing my friends and family
to create pages in their own personal style.
It will be a wonderful memory for this time in my life
and something I can go back years from now and look
at, remembering all those amazing friends I have!
I started the first page with stamping and I am going to
write instructions inside for my "artist" friends to begin creating.
I used Jenni Bowlin, MOD PODGE, Tim Holtz, Basic Grey, Smooch Spritz,
Chatterbox, Hambly, even Ruby Rock It rub-ons! :)
So what do you think?? Ready to make your own
Art Journal?? Come on make one! Let me see it!
It's perfect for other scrapbookers!!!

I had to share a few pictures of my chickens
because this week they are finally old enough to be "free range"
we let them out now to hunt and peck, it's so cute!
Aren't their little chicken butts cute?!! hehehe
"psstt did you see that pink haired chick who keeps taking our pictures?"
hehehe the hens cackling.
This is the one who has taken over the "momma" roll
she calls them all back in and calls them when I come out
to feed them, it's SO cute and fun! I loves her!

Let's not forget it is SFTIO reveal week on Pinky's Blog!
Look at these amazing papers! This kit is STUNNING!
It feels so tropical/India/Morocco to me.
I just loved working with it! The layouts design
just flowed like hot chocolate syrup! :)
More of the "Enlightenment" journaling.
I have to say this kit got me thinking for sure!
It was thought provoking and pushed me to really study
my inner thoughts. I love that.

OK we are off to the movies today I think....depends on how
it goes with the kids :) We might have to stay home and do
yard work...now what fun is that?! LOL

~Happy Labor Day~
~Thanks for stopping by and saying hi~
~Love to hear from y'all!~

Ok, I LOVE this book. I am so hoping you go into more details about how you altered the cover. I will be getting one of these in the mail soon and that is so much more fun than a plain white linen or black cover! So... any tips on getting the paper to stick and be able to carry around without it getting messed up? Love this!

Beautiful creation Pinky, I'm sure your friends will love being included in your art journal! Thanks for sharing. And I love your chickens! They're so cute. My son and his sweetie also have chickens that free range. And they too know when to come eat and when it's time to go to bed (roost) at night. They love their chickens too!

I haven't tried the Helmar 450 out. Just looked it up, I think I'll give it a try! Now to figure out where to buy it around here! What's your favorite sealer? Sorry for all the questions today ;) I was using a spray sealer I had found in my room, but don't like it as it eats vinyl and fine papers even after they are glued down and dried. Started modge podging over those in order to deal with it.
