~Monday winner ...ohhhh Happy Monday!~

Back to the real world and back to our regularly scheduled program! HA!
This weekend our TV (of 4 years I think?)
Blew out, yes it took a big fat dive!
Did you know they do not sell big heavy tube TV's anymore?
What a shocker!
I thought "hey for 100 or 200.00 we can pick up an older model cheapo TV"
No way man, it is all HD or DVI or 720P
I felt so old researching and buying a new TV!

I made this LO for DREAMGIRLS challenge Blog
If you have not checked out their challenges, YOU SHOULD!!

I also made this LO because it is so hard to explain to people
why abuse is so relevant even as I stand at 34 years old.
Why it affects me and why the chain of abuse is so hard
to break. How it affects me as a mother and an adult.

Even if I am healing or healed,
it still affects my thoughts and actions every single day.

OHH and for the winner of my RAK

This is great! (the layout) and so true. Sorry 'bout the tv, ours is going out too, but slowly over the last year or two. We can't see the very top of the screen, but anything in widescreen-thus far-is good. :) Have good day!

Sorry about your TV! I love the layout. But, I especially care for the message. Someone I care for was abused as a child. I see the lasting effects even today and the daily struggle to NOT CONTINUE that cycle. Bless you for sharing and making people realize how we treat our children shapes them in ways we may not even realize. And, we, as parents, have a duty to remain aware of our actions and their lifetime lasting effects.

What an incredible story...good for you for scrapping about it and for being aware of the cycle of abuse. Will keep you in my prayers!
