~Crafty Valentine's Treat~

No this is not the most creative thing I have done,
but no project has ever brought me so much joy.

My son is doing his class Valentine's and I bought him the ones from the
store because he loves choosing them.
BUT I wanted to do something special so I started making little candy matchbook covers with flowers on little M&M's bags.

He walked into my scrap room and I showed him what i was doing...

he gasped in delight and said "Its a good thing you know how to scrap MOM!, now my gifts will be even more special than anyone else's!"

He even agreed to graciously give me one more day to finish 20 of them! LOL And told me I could go to bed last night instead of staying up all night finishing them! ROFL!

He said "IF you get tired, you CAN go to bed, I can wait one more day"

I love my kids, I love my life today~
Have a beautiful day

Those are so cute. I can almost hear your son's amazement at your skill. Isn't it wonderful to have them so pleased with the things we do for them?

Pinky,
That is so cute. My son is the same way! We went to Walmart to pick out cards for his class since I wont be functioning next week. Then I came across an idea of making heart shaped crayons out of old crayons and he decided that I would like to make them...not him , me!! So I am off to the store today to get stuff to make them...ya know since I WILL LIKE TO MAKE THEM SO MUCH!! LOL..gota love these boys!

They turned out so cute!!! We did the same thing for Evan and he is so excited to take them to school. Of course, I had my camera, but the battery was dead. Bad MeMe, now I don't have a pic to share!!! You are the BESTEST MOM!!!

Cristal, those turned out awesome. My son wants to make something special for his girlfriend .... this is a great idea and it's something HE could make too! Thanks, I might have to lift that (with your permission of course).

Check my blog out, you're on it!
