~Patriotic Card Making~

♡Good morning my scrappy friends♡
So sorry for being MIA this weekend, we had so much family
stuff going on and I had a class on Sunday...the blog fell aside. :)

It's no secret, I have many ties in the military community and as
Armed Forces Day approaches I am reminded of how thankful
I am to the military all over the world.

I really loved that the Kraft Outlet had a "Patriotic" challenge.
This is the project I made.
I actually made more than a few and shipped them to
Operation Write Home (of course I made a flat flower for those)
I used the Lunch Bag Paper from Kraft Outlet
and the Vintage Dictionary Pages to make the flower,
along with the new Denim Posies from Imaginisce! :)
Thanks to all the military for all you do and THANK YOU to the families
who live long periods of time without they family members home.
Thank YOU from one lowly crafter, your job is more appreciated and important
than you will ever know! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

this is wonderful - and always a great cause - it is where just about all my cards go. With hubby being retired Navy we both love supporting the troops.

This is such an awesome card, Pinky! I just adore the fun shape and your lovely patriotic design. The banners are fabulous, and I love the denim flower, too. Thanks again for sharing all your talents with us at The Kraft Journal. :)

Pinky this is awesome!!!! I love your flower.

My DB is in the Army and will be leaving next weekend for Afghanistan for a year. My SIL told me the hardest job in the Army is being an Army Wife; I'm only a sister so I can imagine!
