~Ghostly Sunday & Chicken Update~

Good morning my crafty friends...
are you ready for another Halloween project?

This is another invitation using my Cricut Expression,
Color Core'dinations cardstock, Stickles, Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
I thought it was an appropriate invitation for a ghostly party~
It was fun to make too.
I loved this Core'donations cardstock, when I filed it down
it made it look like actual aged stone. So fun!

*Quick chicken update*
Another picture of eggs, this one had special note,
one of our chickens has taken to laying more blu-ish then green-ish eggs,
very pretty, I love seeing them in the morning.
The chickens now lay from 7/8 to 10 eggs daily, plenty for our family
and a few extra for the neighbors. It hit me last week
when I was outside gathering eggs and my bowl was full...
"We are really doing this, the cycle of life in our backyard"
It was a great feeling, and I love not buying eggs anymore.
I also love the diverse colors and waking to the clucking.

Now our neighbors...not so much LOL they hate it, but it's our property
so they don't really have a say. I get to hear their music and parties
they can listen to my hens *smile*

BIG week ahead!
Tomorrow : GYPSY GIVEAWAY!!!!!!
Tuesday : SPECIAL GUEST BLOGGER
Wednesday: I WAS INTERVIEW :) *link will be posted*
I am so excited about this interview!

Big week! Do NOT forget to enter for the second Gypsy! :)
~Happy Sunday

Soo cool on the blue eggs. I used to have friends that I was able to get fresh eggs all the time (I so miss them)

You are right on the cardstock...I love the effect on it, turned out great!

My SIL used to have chickens and I so miss those eggs. I just *might* try it sometime.

Congrats on the eggs! We're going to get chickens and we definitely want some that lay the blue/green eggs. Now, if stuff would just stop breaking around the house so we could GET the chickens, things would be great. :-)

I need to come over for eggs someday ;)

Love the Halloween Invite :) I need to find out if the subdivision is doing a trunk or treat or something. They did hint at something for Fall.

Now all you need is some goats! Then Steve will have a place to get fresh goats milk to make cheese with :)

Love that invitation! How fun it must be to be you and wake up to fresh laid eggs every morning?!? Don't enter me in the drawing because I don't have a Cricut & don't know anyone that does. Just wanted to comment on your great life!

Looking at those eggs bring back lots of great memories. I love how God can create different colors in something so small.

I notice you make projects using your Expression - what about your Imagine? I still can't decide if I will get the the "I got to have it" stage or not. I recorded the HSN premiere to see if I thought I would be wanting one.

Oh, I forgot to tell you how much I love your eggs in today's post. I always enjoy your chicken stories. Do you ever change their food? I wonder if that would have an effect on the color of the eggs. It would be interesting to know.

I also have chickens but most of mine are Long Island Reds and lay brown eggs but I do have 2 white one's and they use to be greenish but now (I guess cause they are older) they are mostly white. But I love feeding them bread...they love it and try to be sneeky and steal the bread from your hands. I really enjoy my chickens and sell the extra eggs to help pay for the feed.
