~Remembering~

This is a rough day for many.
I have many military friends as well as friends
in NY or people who have lost family in 9-11.
I have not lost anyone personally,
I question my right to grieve sometimes,
but as a nation I know we all grieve.

This is the day I look back and remember what I was doing on 9-11.
I had just found out I was pregnant, in fact
that was one of the main factors in choosing Justice as a name
for our son. Hard to believe it has been 8 years.
Still feels so fresh.
God bless those who were heroes that day,
God bless those who passed and those who remain.

Your layout is beautiful! Your writing is so heartfelt. I agree we do grieve as a nation. It feels like it was just yesterday. I like the picture you used as well!

Great layout!
I know for our family it is a very hard day! My brother in law was working at the Pentagon when they got hit and we could not get ahold of him for hours...freaked us out! Luckily we were saved from that heartache when he finally call us and let us know he was ok!
Our family remembers every time we look at the clock and it says 9:11 as the time...we stop and say a prayer for those who lost so much that day!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

What a fabulous thing to do!!!! I lost a friend in Tower 2 so I feel the loss personally, but I also know that the whole world still grieves on that day, whether they personally knew someone or not!
