~Hate me if you want to, Love me if you can~

I have been wanting to do 2 Lo's for a long time now.
One wit my dirty hands and talking about how all my life people have told me "don't get your hands dirty" and why I can't keep them clean. And this one using the Toby Keith Song Man of My Convictions.
When I heard this song it just SCREAMED Layout to me!
And I so related to the song.

So I finally did it yesterday.
Here is the journaling.
Journaling says
As I sit here Creating this LO I am touched by this song.
In moments of pain I ask myself why I cannot just look the other way and let things go.
Why am I ALWAYS compelled to fight, even if it's small and insignificant.
Then I realized why. When you grow up and no one ever stands up for you. Then you decide you won't ever do that to anyone else.
If I want my boys to be strong, then momma has to fight on!!

Something about when *sigh* TOBY...sings
You may not like where I am going but you sure know where I stand
Hate me if you want to , Love me if you CAN

Have a beautiful day.
~Pinky~

Toby Keith Lyrics Lo is based on

Sometimes think that war is necessary

Every night I pray for peace on earth
I hand out my dollars to the homeless
But believe that every able soul should work
My father gave me my shot gun
That I’ll hand down to my son
And try to teach him everything it means

I’m a man of my convictions
Call me wrong; call me right
But I bring my better angels to every fight
You may not like where I am going
But you sure know where I stand
Hate me if you want to
Love me if you can

I stand by my right to speak freely
But I worry bout what kids learn from tv
and before all debating turns to angry words and hate
sometimes we should agree to disagree
I believe that Jesus looks down here and sees us
And if you ask him he would say…

I’m a man of my convictions
Call me wrong; call me right
But I bring my better angels to every fight
You may not like where I am going
But you sure know where I stand
Hate me if you want to
Love me if you can

I’m a man of my convictions
Call me wrong; call me right
But I bring my better angels to every fight
You may not like where I am going
But you sure know where I stand
Hate me if you want to
Love me if you can

I'm sure you've heard this one but, "you've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."

I love making your fabric flowers from your tutorial~thank you so much for sharing this! I gave you credit when I talked about making them commenting on a blog, but I spelled your name Pinkee, because I remembered that from your resume. Sorry~ I'll go correct that right now!
