**Big Prizes!!** Samantha Walker Blog Hop- Mini Album + Digital Layout!

Good morning my friends, it is the second Wednesday of the month and
time for another Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop!

Today the prizes are CRAZY AWESOME! :)
So hop and comment all the way!!
Samantha is giving away a Free Cut File & a set of Spellbinder dies...WOOT!

For my projects I made this Vacation Mini Album using the
paper and dies from Samantha Walker's new line for Creative Imaginations
called Nautical and my Zutter Bind-It-All for the binding.
I love the feel of the line and the stickers.
I kept trimming out little pennants and stapled them to the pages like bookmarks.
I added a bunch of Liquid Pearls.
The colors were such fun, made me feel so nostalgic.
I also used the Spellbinders SW Dies for the stars & anchors on the cover.
In the Bind-It-All O'Wire binding I used some Twinery Twine.
I love that I can bind my own books now!!

For my second project all you digital fanatics! :)
I made a digital layout using the new Samantha Walker Digital Kit
called Retro Road Trip, such a fun kit!
Now that's it for me today! :)

Off to the next blog....
the next blog is the amazing AJ Otto, you will love her...

~The Story Layout & Strawberry Picking~

Good morning my friends,
IF ever there was a day I regretted not remembering my camera
yesterday was that day!! I could have kicked myself!

I drove the boys to the farm in Wartrace, TN (right by Bell Buckle)
and sent them to the field to pick strawberries.
I was very careful to instruct them on not fighting and all that
because it was the first time they were going alone, I could
not make it to the field myself and no wheelchair path.

God bless them, they made it all the way and did not fight once!
Plus my youngest even HELPED! haha A miracle in the strawberry
field for sure! I was so proud, they even grabbed some blueberries.
We made jam last night, and I baked all day.
We made 2 batches of muffins, 4 batches of jam, home made bread
chili, sweet cornbread muffins, and more.

I wanted to share one of my last digital layouts with you for that
digtal scrap booking race. Can you believe I made it all the way through?
Digital scrap booking has always been fun but not my
main form of playing, so this was a wonderful challenge.

This page had to be all about me, so I did a page on how people
see me and what they expect me to be able to handle.
My close friends know I have a tender heart though.♡♡
I used a kit from Ginger Scraps on this page. Summer Lovin'.
I really enjoyed the race, I might enter another contest if I find one.

Oh and here is a picture of the strawberries after I got home.
I really am proud of these boys of mine. They are all growing
up so fast and it's clear they will be fine young men.
Well that's it for me today, short and quick.
I am working on several projects right now, and trying to adjust to the boys
being home all the time!!! AHHHH LOL

I have a big announcement coming soon, plus I was at Sam's Club
last week and saw some of my publication work on packaging, so
that was pretty fun. I never know where I will see my projects. LOL

See y'all tomorrow!

~Tattoo Weekend + Baseball Player In Training LO~

Good morning my friends,
What a weekend we had, we spent 80% of it in Tattoo shops.
But first I have this layout to share....

I don't have girls but I have the most amazing friends with
little girls, and it has become the light of my life for sure!
(of course my boys are amazing but I have light enough for 20 more LOL)
Anyways created this layout last week with some snapped iPhone photos
from the ball field last week, how funny if this kid????
I am peeing my pants watching her, she is such a sweet hoot~

So this weekend hubby set out to get a tattoo, we made an appointment
at Absolute Ink in Murfreesboro with Jay. He drew up the tattoo, we
showed for the appointment, then waited 1.5 hours, then Jay decided
he would not tattoo hubby because he didn't think hubs was "ready" and he
wasn't "feeling" him -so he said no and started playing with his phone.

Yea that was super cool and professional *ugh*, I knew tattoo
artist were known to be flaky but this was so heartbreaking after
saving our money for a year and having it all ready and making
our appointments....the guy acted like we weren't worth his time.
anyways...
since hubby has waited 36 years for this tattoo we decided to find
a more professional shop and head to Nashville.

I am so happy we did, Blackbird Tattoo & Gallery had the nicest people
who were completely professional and Ed drew up hubby's tattoo,
then we came back Sunday to get the actual tattoo done.
I went to teach my card class and met up with hubby later.
It was a great experience and Ed was just amazing.
This was the end result, a pink haired girl with her head severed
and a skull holding it up. It was a celebration of our 10 years together
but in hubby's twisted horror way LOL
The colors will be brighter as it heals, he did a great job,
I am so excited we found this shop.
So that was our tattoo adventure that lasted from Saturday until
Sunday night, I was happy to get home!!!

Hope today makes you smile like sweet Payton made me smile.
Happy Monday~

~Scrapping Those Crafty Pictures~

Good morning my crafty friends,

Today I have a digital layout to share. I actually
scrapped a picture of my crafts in this layout. Is that weird?? LOL
I took a photo of my pin cushion jar, and used it in this layout.
You know I am even tempted to scrap my scrapbook pages! LOL
I am so not kidding~
For this page I used the Honey Sunset Blush Paper Pack **On sale today only!*
and the Inky-ness Perfume Labels 1. You might also notice in the photos my
Vintage Jar Pin Cushion I made from the Samantha Walker fabrics.
I think it all flowed nicely and I can't wait to print this page for my album.

I might even print it, then add some scrappy embellishments!
Ok off to the house...it is looking a hot mess~
Have a wonderful Hump Day my friends,
thank YOU for taking the time to come by and say hello.
