Avocado Arts And Nikki Sivils Fun~

Oh Oh OH IT IS FRIDAY! 

Time to partay!I am ready for the weekend. 

So you saw my shoe card yesterday and today I have another Avocado Arts 

project using the same YOU RULE! stamp set this time I used

the RULER stamp, the CRAYON stamp and the You PRETTY MUCH Rule! 

sentiment stamp- I mean it's the perfect combo!

This is the complete set- totally worth it!

I really do love having all these coordinated stamps in one set. 

I paired it with these Nikki Sivils papers from last year that I still love. 

I hand cut these but they come with DIGITAL dies you can

use with your electronic die cutting machine. My mats 

just happened to be glueless so I didn't use them but I normally do. 

SO happy Friday and really YOU DO PRETTY MCUH RULE!

~Favorite 2010 Altered Projects + Fun News & New Class~

Good morning my scrappy-rific friends ♥

I decided to post my top 4 favorite altered projects from 2010.

I realized I REALLY altered alot LOL 2-3 items a month!

Now I had a few more BUT they are in the Cricut Circle Magazine so I

cannot share them with you! :(

So here are the ones I chose...

I had this idea back in January and hunted all over online to find

one and I never found even one, so it was a fun project!!

You know I design for the Cricut Circle, if you are a member you see my work

in the magazine every single month. Anyways they are hosting a STAMPEDE!

I think that is all for me today, sorry but my children went

back to school yesterday for the first time in over 14 days and guess

what? My youngest was sick LOL I am running behind with the

kiddos at home and being sick so much! Mom needs a quiet day♥

~Hello Thursday-Halloween Album Cover *Nikki Sivils*~

Good morning!

I finally was able to sit down and finish my Halloween album cover.

I made this Nikki Sivils collage layout a couple months ago with

the intent to make an album cover, but it took me this long

to go buy an actual album LOL

Lately I am finding myself heading back to the original trustworthy

glues and sealants as I have had projects falling apart left and right.

*Very embarrassing*

Mod Podge is always 100% dependable for me...I mean hello

I think my mother even used it! LOL

I love the newer Mod Podge that is Shimmer and Glitter.

You can see I tested a shimmer spot, then decided to go with the

gold glitter, I liked the shimmer but thought the gold would

look better with this projects. I love that it not only glues but

also seals in one coat, no gluing then sealing.

First I coated the whole album in glitter Mod Podge,

then I stuck the collage layout down.

After that I coated the entire project in glitter Mod Podge

and set aside to dry.

You can see the glittery goodness, this gold glitter Mod Podge

is very holographic and it rocks! Yes Mod Podge Rocks! LOL

Of course I used my handy dandy i-rock for the gems, I know they will

be on this cover FOREVER! LOL

I am thinking I will customize all my albums now.

(I know they have been requested and I am working on it.)

Today I am helping a friend move, or rather watching the boys

and hubby help them move LOL

My back has been to bad to help, maybe I can bring a meal~

~Crafty Thursday...Halloween is coming, why not make an album?!~

Good morning my crafty friends!

Can you believe how close Halloween is?
I usually make all of our costumes and if I want
to again this year I better get to stitching!
We don't even have a family theme yet?! *gasp*

On Facebook Nikki Sivils had a contest and I
decided to play along, to my surprise I won!
When I got the paper I decided it would make the PERFECT
scrapbook album COVER.I am going to glue this onto a BLACK Halloween
scrapbook album, then coat it with a crackle medium
and seal it down to the album.
I thought it would be a fun album cover and I would
have a special album for all of our themed costumes!

I have totally been into Glossy Accents lately and I went
crazy once again! I used it on the hearts *every other one*
on the mask, on the frame of the "FUN" die cut,
and on the H in Halloween. Oh and of course my handy

dandy i-rock tool to add the black and white gems!! WOOT!

I also have been digging my Cricut lately.
I used the French Manor Cartridge to make the
label die cut and the alpha is with the Cricut too!

I know i am not your traditional Cricut girl
but I have been trying to create outside the Cricut Box
in keeping with my funky, crazy style.

I have more projects to share this week *yea*
Still waiting on the video to be posted online.
Today I am home making scalloped potatoes and ham.
I sure get int he cookin' mood when the rain hits :)

I baked home made bread yesterday and banana bread too.
It's good to be in the rain.

I had fun "discovering" this month.
I made this layout with my picture
of the Jello Shots from July 4th.
And my profound discovery, that yes it is OK
"sometimes" to let go and have fun.
I know I seem all punk but I am very uptight.
I struggle with just relaxing and having fun.
I RARELY drink but this picture represented
