IN celebration of DECEMBER 1st and the NEW DT yesterday I put up a
PASS THE RAK game in Treasured Scrapbooking!
Where you steal the RAK from the last person until a preset time
and whoever is left holding it wins!
OMG it was too funny and had 29 pages when all was said and done!
Now that is what one little package a Thickers will do to crafters! LOL It was a blast!
Other than that it is a BRISK 23 degrees today in
Middle Tennessee and yes I am FREEZING hehe

Still sick and family is sick too!
But it is that time of year.
I need to scrap today, I have to produce 3 never seen LO's and one tutorial.

~My first day on the DT~

And all I can say is...I am downright GIDDY!
I just uploaded my first CHALLENGE and my first KIT Reveal! I am so excited!
This was a beautiful Kit to work with! Here is my FIRST LO and there is a Sketch to go with it!
Of course in celebration I have a PASS The RAK game on Treasured Scrapbooking!

I love the classic look of cream, black and red together. It just screams timeless.
I also dug into my glitter glue lastnight and scrapped this page.
I was a scrapping fool yesterday! LOL
Between sewing that is.

Well, off to be a mom today.
I am sick once again so I am hoping the boys wake up feeling better than I do.
Poor hubby is sick too.
It's that time of year.

~Sewing Sunday~

Well, no scrapping for me today, and a discovery! LOL
I need a PLUS sized mannequin!
No matter how much I pin the dresses with sleeves they just slide right off my
skinny minny mannequin!
I have spent the last couple days cutting, piecing and sewing.
I found some beautiful crushed Panne fabric and it is that time of year!
Time for holiday dresses and time for Christmas money *I hope*

I love sewing, I love scrapping, it's just finding the time for both!
I do have a deadline today though so I must scrap one page.
And I have a purple dress that needs to be finished, so back to my craft room I go!

~Sleepy Saturday!~

No I am not tired from waking up early and Black Friday Shopping.

Although I did manage to go around 10am to Joanns, where it was STILL packed!
I waited in the fabric cutting line (20 deep) and hubby went to the checkout line (50 deep) and about when I was done he was up front so we met in the middle.
I managed to buy a TON of CRUSHED Velvet Fabric for all the holiday dresses I make! WOOHOO~!
Christmas money!
And I snuck in a new corner rounder actually 2 of them!
The Fiskars squeeze punch and the EK success.

So if you ever wondered the difference between the sizes of the larger Fiskars Corner rounder squeeze punch and the medium EK Success corner rounder punch. Well here is a close up.
But to be fair Fiskars does make a smaller one, BUT not an XL one!
I have a much larger EK success one for my large scallops.
But they all scallop.
Truth me told I just wore out my old EK success corner rounder.

Then I came home and made 3 dresses and scrapped a page!
WOOHOO felt good to scrap let me tell you!Have a wonderful Saturday!

~Have a beautiful Thanksgiving~

A simple but love filled Thanksgiving happened in our home today.
Just me and my boys (includes hubby) and lots, I do mean LOTS of home cooked food!

Some video games and Christmas music while cooking.
Yesterday I spent the entire day baking
Pumpkin Pies
No Bake Cookies
Home Made Bread
Mud Pies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Just call me Pinky Crocker!~
and this morning I woke up and made the Turkey and all the fixin's.
Thanks to hubby who set the Table and peeled potatoes for me.

It was just a pleasant relaxing day with my family, making new traditions.
And enjoying each other.

My wish for you, is to have a beautiful family (or friend) filled Thanksgiving Day

~What I worked on WEDNESDAY~

This is what I worked on almost all day yesterday!
Plus uploading 8 videos on how to make it! hehe
I really like how it turned out though and I am going to use it as a Christmas
Book to sit with my snowmen!
It has 8 pages total but I am only showing 3! LOL

It's been a busy week and last night we braved the grocery store.
Oh my Walmart on a Tuesday Before Thanksgiving is a big JOKE!

On a side note I wanted to share what my amazing,
talented son made for me yesterday! LOL

~WOOHOO Monday~

Ok Ok I know, why am I woohooing on a MONDAY! LOL
Well, #1 I decorated my house (halfway) this weekend and we watched Christmas Movies and listened to my new Toby Keith Christmas CD.
I know some are telling me it's too early but I needed some fun snowman cheer!
On the 1st or so we will go find a Christmas tree and decorate it. So we can spread it out!

And #2. I spent my weekend filming my ACRYLIC LO CLASS!! WOOHOO!
So it is finally done and going on sale TODAY! hooray! I am SO excited!

I always feel super sexy in my Boot Slippers from Old navy and my boxer shorts on a chilly Sunday morning. Yea, I might be a big girl but I like to feel the sexay too!
I spent yesterday sewing but hey I made some money so no one is bitchin here!

~Chilled to the Bone Saturday~

Have you seen this new BELLA BLVD paper? Oh my goodness it is FUN and pretty!
All the trees and clouds...YUMMY stuff!
This is a sneak peek of one of my LO's.
ScrapFreak sells it, that is where I bought mine, oh and my BF brought me some!

I LOVE Stickles but I do not always find them, so when I went to Hobby Lobby
this week, they have GLITTER glue on sale 50% off.
So I bought large bottles for 1.50! And even though they are not as precise as Stickles,
they do look good and saved me about 10.00!
So in a pinch or if you are on a budget like me...try glitter glue!
The one I used here is copper.

I woke up to 14...YES I said 14 degree weather this morning....
it has warmed to a nice tropical 23 now LOL
My heater has been running ALL night long!
I never do that, I like a chilled night but not today.
It's just DAMN cold out there!

Now for all you wonderful faithful blog readers...

Well I am officially back in the scrapbooking GROOVE!....~Shake your groove thang shake your groove thang...oh yeah~~

I did my Dreamgirls Blog challenge!
Did you??
I used the new Tim Holtz Mask from Noel Mignon's kit Home Sweet Home
and Metal from her kit (the key)
and DEFINITELY used the Gratitude attitude theme!
I am NOT happy with the mask but that's ok, I won't love every LO so it's all good.
My husband loves it and he is the one who counts!
Tally Scrapper's also had a challenge like this so I combined them!
I love combining challenges.

It is a FRIGID morning this morning, I need to learn how to stand with my boys at the bus stop
with a HEATER! BUUURRRR!!

OK you may ask what in the world these are??
Well guess what? I SCRAPPED! Yesterday I scrapped 2 pages! WOOHOO!
But I cannot share just yet because they are my first DT pages for
Treasured Scrapbooking.
So instead I thought I would post a sneaky PEEK!
Just to show I really did scrap pages for the first time in over 2 weeks! I am so happy!

Fact 1. I have a hole in my nose (no not from DRUGS!) from a freak accident when I was 19 and I can put a pencil through my nose. Handy? NO but freaky for drunk parties? YES!

Fact 2. I might have PINK hair but I am so thoroughly domesticated and conservative,
it ain't even funny!

Fact 3. I love baking, I bake everything form home made bread to home made jam.
Love it!

Fact 4. Since moving away from my lifelong home, Oregon.
I do not miss Oregon one little bit, but I do miss the Oregon Strawberries,
and Julie, Cori, and Chelsea (My Ex step sisters/mom) So badly.
I never expected to miss them so much but I do.

Fact 5. When I died my hair pink, I NEVER once thought about the stares and questions I would get. I just did it because I LOVED it and it represented breaking free from the restraints of abuse and secrets....so I did it. And the first day I was blown away and almost scared by all the people who made fun of me and stared.
Now I am used to it but then I was so naive, it just never occurred to me that anyone would care what color hair I had or even stare at all? Yea, I know I am crazy huh? Crazy stupid! LOL

Fact 6. I started scrapping just to fit in with a group of friends who I secretly thought were insane. I found scrapping to be expensive and ridiculous, then I got hooked. And realized scrapping is what you make of it. And for me it is a creative outlet to share my life story with not only my family but others who travel the same path.

Fact 7. My online friendships mean just as much to me as my real life (very few of those) friendships. I have found that out recently and it sort of shocks me. But it's true.

So that is me in a nutshell.

~Back to work Tuesday~

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....just let me say it again....AHHHHHH....hehehe Nothing to do today but stay home and RELAX! I think me and both my visitors are all feeling the same way! We all are so dang tired! It's nice to have a restful day!
