Always Fly...Creative Art Canvas Project

Good morning friends,
Is it already September 2nd? Where does the time go?

Anyways I have a fun canvas project to share today- it is a
I don't create canvases often but I really do enjoy making them.
For this one I used Smooch Spritz which I spritzed in graduated
colors- them to mute it I spray painted it lightly with regular almond color
spray paint. I love how effective it was.
I thought I would stamp the canvas- so the paint was a great way to
stiffen it up a bit but I ended up stamping the vintage lace and
Then I added Liquid Pearls and Ribbons Unlimited ribbon to the canvas for pop.
Also because I wanted some different texture I added Hambly acetate paper.
I really am happy with the end result- it was a fun project! :)

Now you can find my project on the LB blog and on their websites here

Linnie Canvas And Smooch Spritz!

Good morning my friends,
Happy Friday- Happy WEEKEND! It's finally here and I
have a little tutorial to share with you using Linnie Blooms Canvas
pieces and the ever popular Smooch Spritz in Cherry Ice & Gold Glow.
I started with this mini kraft notebook I got from Michaels
a while ago- it was all of .50 I am sure.
Paint it with just reg, spray paint.
Use Bo Bunny scraps to cover the back and front.
Fold one and stitch the middle with your sewing machine.
Spritz both flowers using Smooch Spritz in Cherry Ice & Gold Glow.
Using hot glue- adhere crinkled sewn flower into flat flower.
Adhere layered flowers to front of book.
Using prima paper flower- spritz with Smooch Spritz in Cherry Ice & Gold Glow.
Adhere to top of layered flowers- add brass button.
Using book binding ribbon spritz with Gold Glow- tie into bow and
adhere below flower.
Stamp PRECIOUS & THOUGHTS sentiment onto paper from first steps.
 Adhere in layers of flowers.
That's it- a sweet handmade notebook- perfect as a gift- or toss it in your purse!
That's it for me this Friday- time to go get busy with these boys of mine!
I love the canvas fun-

~Polaroid Card! You Are The Best~

Good morning and happy hump day my friends! :)

I had a fun time yesterday making this card.
Just for fun! :) Not DT work or anything just fun card making time.
I used part of the new Scraptastic Club "Noted" kit and part
of the older "Nostalgic Summer" kit to create this card.
I also used the fun new stamp set from Pink By Design-
Capture Life set. FUN Polaroid frame right? I stamped it-
then I cut it out and stitched it! I love it! :)

It felt good to sit down and create for fun yesterday.
I had a nice day shopping with my girlfriend for my son's birthday (shhh
I snuck in some mommy shopping too) LOL

I have a party to plan for these two boys of mine!
Happy Hump Day!

~Best Thing EVAH! + Back To School~

Good morning my friends,
In case you hadn't noticed I took a few days off last week,
I had to give myself some times to get these chickens of mine back to school!
Let me share this new Easel card, then I'll post photos of the kids below.

Today I wanted to share these Easel Cards from Globecraft Memories.
I created this card and a short tutorial for Globecraft
They are fun little cards to make and completely unique!
Oh and this FUNNY adorable stamp you ask?
Yep it's those ATTITUDE stamps from Pink By Design! You know
the ones my gf made with a few of my quotes. :)
I LOVE THEM!
And the card itself was entirely the August Barn Door Kit...
I love the vintage retro feel to it.
Go to Globecraft and check out the way these Easel Cards work..they are fun time!

Ok on to personal stuff :) (See how I posted all the crafty
first so no one has to bother with my personal stuff-hehehe)
It seems like this summer was literally non-stop and I am ready
to be back on a schedule again. Also a few weeks ago we had a car malfunction,
it's come time to buy a new car, so after much stress and struggle we got
out hands on a used car, all in all it just set me back in blogging! LOL

*Funny Story* All the kids in school are so anxious to get back in their new
clothes, all dolled up...NOT MY BOYS! LOL They picked the OLDEST clothing
(even thought I had bought new) their old faves and insisted on wearing them LOL
Nonetheless I grabbed a couple photos :) Entering 3RD grade!
And the LAST year in Elementary School for my middle boy...5th grade! :)
They grow up SO FAST!
I will post a photo of my car tomorrow after I grab one :)
Happy Monday everyone!

~ATTITUDE Chick Cards!~

Good morning my friends! :)

I spent a little time (between thunder storms) this weekend crafting.
I broke into my stamps and my new Scraptastic Club kit.
I am in love with the beautiful colors and style of this August "Barn Door" kit.
I love the little Pebbles Candy Dots in the add-on...LOVE THEM!!!
I know they send me the kit to design with BUT if I didn't love it I would tell ya :)
It's a beautiful kit, one of my favorites for sure.
OH and these stamps!
A while ago I called a gf from Pink By Design stamps and
asked her if she could make a set of stamps that used the silly phrases
me and my gal pals use. She threw in her own ideas and came up with
this adorable ATTITUDE set of stamps! :)

How cute are these quotes?! The "What's Up Buttercup" is mine! :)
I say that all the time.
Did you check out the little wooden arrows? *SWOON*
Yes I am a paper nerd...and I spritzed them with last month's
Mister Hueys mist...*Double swoon*....fun times.
I know they are "simple" but I love the clean feel of them.
All good scrappin fun.
Ok I am off to buy my boys shoes and get them haircuts today.
School begins in 2 days...OI VAY does anyone remember
the 12 weeks summer? Now it is BARELY 6 weeks! LOL

~Courage Card With Handmade Stick Pins~

 Good morning my crafty friends,

I can hear the echoes out there this week LOL :)
I wanted to share this card I created using the Connie Crystal crystals.
I lovemaking my own stick pins, and adding these crystals really makes it pop.
The flower I made from vintage lace I had, it was an odd color
but it went perfectly with this vintage style paper from the Scrapatastic July Kit.
The little resin flower was from Scraptastic too, love those kits! :)
The stamps are some of my favorite sentiment stamps from Pink By Design.
Anything in typewriter font makes me happy! *clearly* LOL

Ok off to car hunt some more...gotta get a used car at some point.
Wish me luck!

~No Worries- Fun In The Sun Card!~

Good morning my friends,

I wanted to share a fun shaped card that I created for Trinity Arts.
How fun is this?? It's a flip flop card or as they say in Hawaii
a "slipper" card. :) I love it.

If you want to find instructions for this card I have them on the
Trinity Arts Blog right here.
I used the beautiful Clearsnap Smooch Inks, and Colorbox ink
to make the edges pop out a little and for the sentiment.
Now tomorrow I have a special blog hop, be sure to come back! :)
Have a wonderful Thursday my friends.

OH don't forget my class begins this week! You can take it day or night.
ANYTIME! and the class stays open after it is ended too! :)
Check it out please and pass the word along too.

Vintage Style Card- Tutorial w/ Burlap

Good morning my friends,

I have a fun project and mini tutorial to share today
after a good 4 day weekend! :) I spent the weekend with friends and
of course family, we had a lovely party at a friend's home then
we laid rock and celebrated my son's 10th birthday.
Very busy but so wonderful. We finally have a wonderful group
of families to spend time with and it is always so relaxing.
Ok I wanted to share how to make this frame/lock and key set
vintage style card. I used the fun new Globecraft Memories products for this one.
First I dabbed all of the vintage chipboard pieces from Globecraft Memories
with the Piccola Enamel Powder Adhesive.

Then I coated each one with the 24K Gold Enamel Powder.
I used my tweezers to hold them while I heat set them with my heat gun.
After I used enamel powder on them I coated them in Glastique
Gloss and set them to dry for an hour or so.
Then I just layered the card.
I really am enjoying using these Globecraft products!
Not my usual style but a style I am completely comfortable with!
Happy Wednesday my friends!

~Wishing You A Beautiful Day~

Good morning crafty friends,
well after yesterday's super windy crazy day, I am
shocked I was able to get any pictures.

I did finish this card for my class on March 11th.
It's right here in TN, at The Scrap Room.
These new Send It Clear Cards and so fun, I love them!
I used the Pink By Design stamps and the class will be 3 cards
total. Just check out yestetday's post to see the other 2.
I am hoping the fields are dry enough to practice today,
my boys are itching to get outside. It was nearly 80 yesterday but
not without the price of tornadoes.
I grabbed the kids from school at 11am.

Ok I am off to clean up and check the field...
Have a beautiful weekend my friends. ♡♡♡♡
