Two Christmas Card Tutorial

Hell my friends friends, I am excited to share 2 different holiday cards I created using the Creating Made Easy December 2016 Kit today! Yes, I even have a photo step by step tutorial for you to create your own. 

For the first card I took a card base I had but you could use any card stock base and create your own. I traced the Mini Tree from the Tree Album in the kit and cut it out of the center of the front of the card just slightly larger then the Mini Tree. 

After that I covered the front of the card with My Mind's Eye paper from the December 2016 Kit and then trimmed out the tree pattern.

I took one of the pages from the Tree Album and took of the protective film, then inked the tree using StazOn ink from my ink stash in my craft room.

While it was wet with ink I lightly sprinkled on glitter and let it set 5 minutes, then I added pearls with my Pearl Pen. 

I covered the inside of the card using My Mind's Eye paper from the kit, and punch a hole above the tree cut out on the face of the card.

I used Bakers Twine from my personal craft stash to tie the tree to the front of the card. It actually is easily removed to become a beautiful shimmering ornament. 

I then added the sentiment to the front, which I cut from the My Mind's Eye patterned paper. 

For the second card I simply took 2 of the pages from the Mini Tree Album and adhered pattered paper to the back of one tree (after removing the protective film) and a sentiment sticker to the front of the other tree, trimmed off the excess and inked the edges using StazOn Cotton White ink.

I covered the front of my base card (from my stash) using the patterned paper in the kit, and added a snowy red glitter border on the bottom.

Then used pop dots to adhere the top tree and Beacon Adhesive to adhere to tree underneath.

This December 2016 Kit just made me ready for Christmas Crafts!

Blessed & Grateful Fall Card

Hey guys, today with one of my November kit projects, 

this fall themed "Blessed and Grateful" card that I created using 

the Blessings Chipboard Expression from the 

Creating Made Easy November Kit. 

I started with a card stock base card (from my stash), 

and created a copper shimmer card stock cover using my own card stock, 

and then used the pretty maple leaf patterned paper for the front. 

I spray painted the Blessing Chip Word with gold metallic 

paint then lightly rubbed some brown 

StazOn on the word to bring out the texture. 

I also rubbed the StazOn ink along the edges of the card. 

I used the stickers from to kit to create the card itself and 

added the "and" from the letter stickers. 

This would make a great Thanksgiving Card for a family 

or best friend of course. The Blessed Chipboard 

would make a fantastic title on a layout, card, even a sun catcher, any thing  is possible.

Vintage Tag and Bicycle Card Projects

Happy Monday my friends, today I actually have another project to share!

This one is a Vintage Card and Tag set that I created using the August kit

from Creating Made Easy.  

I literally fell in love with everything from this kit and not only did I create a full Mini Album, 

a Layout, and a Card Tag combo but I also went on to make another layout, 

and another Tag using the August Kit!

The card was so much fun, I took the Chipboard Bicycle in the August Kit 

and painted it gold and turquoise then I dabbed the basket 

on the bike with gold for more texture. 

For the Tag I took the Acrylic Scalloped Frame and painted it gold, 

the used the sticker in the kit that fit perfectly behind it. 

The colors are to die for, I love the vintage feel!

I really enjoyed the versatility of this kit and how many projects I was able to create.

Love You Clear See Through Card

I know it's shocking isn't it? I still make cards! haha

I actually still give out handmade cards too!

It's funny because a person I know came over and took a bunch

of my handmade cards and she sends them out with packages as well. 

So yes crafting is alive and well in my house, I just have been so busy

 I haven't really posted, but they are happening!

This ne was using the March Kit from Creating Made Easy, 

and wait until you see the next kit, it's the BOMB!

I love this kit and all the beautiful colors though, I really do!

For this card I of course cut the back side longer and folded it over and adhered it. 

I cut the painted flowers from the kit in half and used them on the side. 

Also the pretty LOVE YOU was in the sticker set. So you really have everything you need. 

I made a layout, a card, and a mini album plus other layout and 2 more cards.

It's a good value kit for 29.99!

January Kit Fun!

 I love these Fence Mixers in the January Creating Made Easy Kit, 

when I saw them I decided to make cards with them. 

It was too easy to do, I spray painted the Fence Mixers with yellow

Krylon paint then glittered them while wet.

 After that I took a tiny strip of paper that  have folded lengthwise, and I

adhered it to the card and fence...VIOLA, a gate on my cards!

You're My Favorite Flake Clear Card Fun!

Yesterday I shared a Wine Glass Votive Holder and today

using the same stamps I have these clear cards.

You're My Favorite Flake is the best quote ever! LOL

 Avocado Arts always makes me happy and stamping with white 

StazOn ink also makes me happy, Clear Scraps is such a fun product. 

 I wish the shimmer on this card would show, it's really pretty.

Two More Fall Cards!

Today I have two more "Fall Themed" cards, I went a little

stamp crazy with StazOn. 

I am in love with this new stamp set. So pretty.

I believe the papers are an older set of Samantha Walker papers. 

I have been trying to use my stash lately!

I love this Build-A-Wreath set and it' adorable for any season with the

Stamping On Acrylic

Well hello Monday, this is a card I created for the 

Stampendous & Clear Scraps Blog Hop last week. 

I stamped the front with StazOn ink then colored behind the

images with alcohol ink pens, then I spray painted

the cover gold. 

 Then I added the goodness. 

 I used leftover kit pieces to make the card, between Clear Scraps

and the Creating Made Easy Kits.

Vintage Style Pion/Clear Scraps Card

This week Clear Scraps is paring up with Pion Design for projects and

I have this vintage style Clear Scraps Send It Clear Card!

For the cover I used paint, I covered it completely in acrylic paint,

then left it to dry for 2 hours. 

After that I took a nail brush and washed it off gently to create the

vintage look. I fell in love! :)
