~Beam Me Up Scotty!!~

Ok not really....LOL
But when I see oodles of stars I always think of that famous quote "Beam me up Scotty"!!

I love the stars in the Scraptastic Barn Door kit! *Swoon*
I used Clearsnap Smooch Spritz on these, then adhered them.
I dug out an old 7 Gypsies stamp I had from way back when
Treasured Scrapbooking was open and used it because it was perfect for this! :)
I cannot wait to pass this card along...
Ok off to get busy, I have videos to make and classes to prepare...
at My Creative Classroom I am teaching several classes this fall!
And Sunday I am teaching locally in Mt. Juliet a Silhouette class!
There is still room, if you would like to join in.
Just call the Scrap Room.

Happy Thursday!

~Create - With Vintage Detail~

 Good morning friends,

I thought I had better blog since I have not been able to post to Facebook
all weekend. Oh how I love glitches LOL

I created this clear acrylic layout with a vintage flair this weekend.
These little intricate hearts and vines are the Globecraft Memories
Piccolo line and I also used the beautiful Vintage Gold Piccolo embossing enamel.
I also edged the paper with the enamel powder.
For the "Create" I used the Clear Scraps acrylic Expressions,
then I spritzed the back with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz, finally I
added alcohol inks and some Viva Decor Pearl pen.
Overall I really love the vintage look.
The paper is from Bo Bunny, one paper I do not use often
but always love when I do!
Don't forget to "Like" Globecraft Memories on Facebook.
One of my newest friends. VERY interesting and unique products!

Today we begin my youngest son's baseball tournaments,
it should be a fun week, let's hope it is COOL! :)
Happy Monday my friends~

~Mother's Love Mixed Media Canvas~

Good morning my crafty friends,

I almost forgot to share this Mother's Love Mixed Media canvas! *gasp*
I worked so hard on it too! I made this canvas for Mother's Day
and set it aside and just forgot. It's my first mixed media canvas, I have
never done one before I I LOVE IT! *if I do say so myself*:)
I used Buttons Galore & More buttons, Clearsnap Smooch Spritz,
Clearsnap ColorBox Inks
Kaiser Craft doilies, Pink Paislee Press-ons, Plaid Crafts paint.
You can find the full instructions on the Buttons Galore Blog right here
I think I am addicted now, I have visions of altered canvases
running through  my brain! :)
My friend Dolores often makes canvases and now I know why.
Don't forget to enter the drawing for a Cricut cartridge it was
posted yesterday! :) Tell your friends....

I am off to enjoy the day in the pool I hope....ok maybe not but
a girl can wish right? Then off to watch some baseball. We have
no games but I am going to watch friends (much more fun).
