Fun In The Sun- Sounds About Right!

Tired of my layouts yet??

Ok ok neither am I- :)
I had such fun creating with this August 2013 kit-
This page I created I really wanted to highlight the Clear Scraps acrylic title
So I spray painted the back then alcohol ink'd the front.
I actually love the seaweed look it has.
I kind of wished I had alcohol ink'd the starfish too. I might
go back and do that actually.
They are just fun photos and the Bo Bunny was a fun line to work with too!
That's it for me today short and sweet- I have this last week
before the kids head back to school- gotta get stuff done! :)

Happy Hump Day!

~More Fun With Sand On Layouts!~

Good morning, Happy Monday!
It's the very last week with the kids home before school starts
and I don't know if I am sad or ECSTATIC! LOL

Anyways I had enough leftover Mudd Puddles Malibu Sand
from the Creating Made Easy August 2013 kit I was able to create this
layout using their EXCLUSIVE Clear Scraps Shovel & Pail
pieces that were created just for this kit! :)
I love it because it has that real plastic shovel and pail feel
because the acrylic is on the front and the paper is on the back.
I added the fun Muddle Puddles Sand to created the beach feel.
Not gonna lie- I love how it turned out! :)
This was a fun layout to create for sure.
I might have to use Mudd Puddles more often!
Ok until tomorrow peeps- that's all for me.
It's a busy week ahead. MUAH!

My First Linnie Blooms Canvas Project!

Good morning,
I am so excited to share my very first Linnie Blooms projects
with you all today. This layout using the fun canvas pieces.
I thought I would share how I created this layout.

First I took the canvas pieces from Linnie Blooms and spritz them
with Smooch Spritz.
Then I trimmed out 8.5X11 and 8X10.5 pieces of patterned paper.
(Bo Bunny).
I layered them and ran them through my sewing machine- stitching
the banner on and stitching on the layout itself.
From straight to zig zag stitches.
I stitched this sticker onto the spritzed pocket piece as well.
Then I matted the photo and layered my paper pieces onto the layout.
I added a few of the coordinating stickers and popped up
a few handcut paper pieces. Then I added some yellow Liquid Pearls.
I think the Linnie Blooms canvas pieces add the perfect beachy feel.

Now you can find my project on the LB blog and on their websites here

~RELAX...it's your day~

Hey there,

Yes I have one last project to share with you today using the
Grillin' and Chillin' stamp set from Avocado Arts (best company ever).

It's a flip flop card -ERMAHGERD- Flerp Flerps! haha
I used some Bo Bunny papers and October Afternoon to
make this fun cheery summer card for a friend.
It's been a whirlwind summer so far- can't believe we have one foot in the
school door already! :)

Happy hump day my friends, I am keeping it short today
because momma is worn out!

I used Bo Bunny papers, and the Piccolo chipboard and Enamel Powders,
Unity Stamp, with a Stickle edge, Clearsnap inks too,
then I added a gold enamel edge and beautiful bow.

~WINNER + Mini Fresh Baking Layout~

Good morning and happy Friday my friends,

I wanted to share a mini layout I created a couple weeks ago.
It is not my normal 12X12 size but a 6X6 size...I
have to admit I love these mini sizes though! :)

I used the Piccolo Enamel and intricate chipboard.
you can find a step by step tutorial on this layout
on the Globecraft Memories Blog
I used some old Bo Bunny papers and I love the vintage feel.
Perfect for my vintage life of baking for the boys :)
These photos were from the blueberries we picked this year.

Now for the winner of the Art Set
Blogger Sue D said...
Favorite summer activity is gardening and then cooling off in the pool.

Sue please email or Facebook me your address. You can see
the result on the actual giveaway too, I did not pick the winner. :)
Happy Friday!

~Create - With Vintage Detail~

 Good morning friends,

I thought I had better blog since I have not been able to post to Facebook
all weekend. Oh how I love glitches LOL

I created this clear acrylic layout with a vintage flair this weekend.
These little intricate hearts and vines are the Globecraft Memories
Piccolo line and I also used the beautiful Vintage Gold Piccolo embossing enamel.
I also edged the paper with the enamel powder.
For the "Create" I used the Clear Scraps acrylic Expressions,
then I spritzed the back with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz, finally I
added alcohol inks and some Viva Decor Pearl pen.
Overall I really love the vintage look.
The paper is from Bo Bunny, one paper I do not use often
but always love when I do!
Don't forget to "Like" Globecraft Memories on Facebook.
One of my newest friends. VERY interesting and unique products!

Today we begin my youngest son's baseball tournaments,
it should be a fun week, let's hope it is COOL! :)
Happy Monday my friends~

~Fun Layout & Tattoo Update~

Good morning my friends,

Can you believe it? First time in 10 days that all 3 of my boys
are back to school and well!! WOOHOO!
Time to have a party right? Well technically we will because it's
BUNCO night in the house!!! :)

Remember I told you about scrapping my friends photos for trade?
Well here is another layout I created. And no such luck getting this
Bo Bunny Baseball paper, apparently it is really old LOL
But I had fun creating a layout with it anyways, and I am really
revved up to create my kids baseball pages now! :)
These gold alpha are Momenta, I think the rest is Bo Bunny though.
Oh and I wanted to share real quick that my tattoo is finally 100%
healed and I took a cute picture to take down to the shop.
Hey she might not want to put this in her book, seeing as most of
her work is skulls and such, but I am going to take it anyways LOL

OK I am off to prepare for tonight! It's girls night!!!! :)
So excited, not only a quiet day but girl's night...perfect!
Have a wonderful Tuesday my friends♡♡♡

~Busy Weekend Fun+Photos From My Craft Room!~

Good morning my friends, what a fantastic and busy
weekend in the Hobbs home! :)

Hubs had to work on Sunday, so we knew it would be crazy.
Started out on Friday getting the house clean and taking care of sick kids,
then Saturday a couple of my close girly friends came over.
Melissa & Jennifer. Melissa came to scrap with me, and Jennifer came
to organize and clean my scrap room!

She organized and I scrapped her pages...SUPER trade right?! LOL
This layout is her son throwing out the first pitch for the Sounds,
and I was so excited to scrap baseball photos. I love me some baseball.
I found the perfect stamp from Pink By Design to combine with
The perfect flat back buttons from Buttons Galore & More.
The paper is Bo Bunny and when I saw it I died a little bit...I need to find
some even if it is no longer produced....SO if anyone knows where I
can get it PLEASE let me know! :)
It felt so good to scrap pages for fun. I actually finished 7 in one day.
Not elaborate but pretty anyways.

Now I have to share photos of just how my room is coming together.
I knew Jennifer would organize but I never expected it to be color coordinated
and just BEAUTIFUL too!
She found em these jars for .69 and I sent hubby to buy like 15 more! LOL
And she found me these baskets in different shapes and sizes
at the Dollar Store for 1.00! I had hubby buy 25 more! haha
Then hubby went to a friend's house and made shelves....
I am going to paint the shelves or cover then in Hello Kitty fabric,
then label all the baskets. The jars will all have a Hello Kitty bow on them.
I am dying to get it all done! Can't you see it now?
I have a huge craft room, I am excited! :)
I have the most amazing friends who just jump in and help
whenever it is needed. I am just sooooooo excited!

Happy Monday my friends!! ♡♡
