Cowboy Heart Layout

Happy Monday friends...
This layout is a photo I took of my son, he is so gentle and loving
it always remind me of a "Cowboy Heart" with his love of animals.
It's from my work in the April issue of Scrap N' Art
and it's from the article "Use Your Stash" so I used
an older paper line I had from October Afternoon.
I miss them! :)
Happy Monday friends.

Howdy Partner~

Good morning crafty peeps,

I was sitting there yesterday creating with the Creating Made Easy
September kit and came across this October Afternoon set of papers.
When I finished my other projects I just felt like making a cowgirl
card for no damn good reason- so I did! LOL
I just hand cut the pocket- no real pattern.
Then I stitched it with my sewing machine and some white thread.
I stayed simple and old school that's for sure! LOL
I found some creamy woodgrain ribbon and it was a perfect match.
LOVE the wood grain paper from this paper line-
Just makes me happy even to have a simple card done and ready.

A few things coming up this week including my first XYRON post- so
stay tuned please, and until then, have a fantastic Tuesday! MUAH!

I used some Bo Bunny papers and October Afternoon to
make this fun cheery summer card for a friend.
It's been a whirlwind summer so far- can't believe we have one foot in the
school door already! :)

Happy hump day my friends, I am keeping it short today
because momma is worn out!

NEW Kit- NEW Album! Jenny Lawson trip!!

Good morning!!!!
Not going to lie to ya, right now...just know you
WILL be seeing about 3 more of these albums with these same photos LOL

Basically I intend on making 5 in total so each one of my gf's from
this trip get one. AND each time I look at the photos I relive
the trip all over again- I love me some Jenny Lawson, just sayin'.
So this mini album is about 6X12" and it is the All Mixed Up album
from Clear Scraps....OHHH OH OH and the best part??
All I had to do was decide how I wanted to assemble it.
The whole kit is about friendship, love, loyalty, and being beautiful
and real plus happiness...how could I not scrap these amazing women??
They all make me devastatingly happy and they are all amazing
real friends who I am so grateful for.
Plus Jenny...hello total amazeballs!!!! She loves me...I know it.
Don't tell anyone but I am SURE she secretly stalks my blog thinking
of ways to be crafty like me!! I just feel it in my bones....
Ok probably not but a girl can wish right??
Anyways it was an amazing kit and a beautiful fun theme for sure!!
So the last one was MINI MINI what do you think of this one?
I like the larger size :)
Ok I am off to get busy, I am excited about my class starting like now...
Join me with these fun cards! 4 cards in a week only 14.00! :)
I am using Clear Scraps acrylic and Avocado Arts stamps!

~Awkward Card #1~

Good morning my friends,

Sometimes I just get a wild hair and decided to craft for giggles and
fun. I was chatting with some friends this week and we seem to find
universal problems without a delicate way to handle them....
then the idea came to me...
a series of "Awkward Cards" by ME! haha

Funny sweet ways to handle delicate situations with a sense of humor
and definitely a modern twist...one huge issue several of my friends have
is dogs from the neighbors who are friends wandering into their yards
and pooping...so why not send a beautiful card to your neighbor?

That says "You know I love you.....please keep your dog shit out of my yard"
No it's not the most tactful way but it's meant to be fun for those with a good
sense of humor and if it's a friend she/he will laugh. :)
Seriously I have a million ideas, maybe I should sell them...
You need this card? You can totally have it for 5.00! :)

Send me a problem I will make a card for it!
Happy Tuesday, I hope you got a chuckle from today's post!
I would totally show October Afternoon and tag them but
they probably don't condone a card saying "shit" in it...LOL

Did you see the "NOTES" turned upside down? yes awkward charm
I totally just pointed out...not awkward right? LOL

Happy Tuesday my friends! Share my post! It will be a trend!!!

Don't forget my Spring Cards ONLINE class coming up!

~Wishing You A Beautiful Day~

Good morning crafty friends,
well after yesterday's super windy crazy day, I am
shocked I was able to get any pictures.

I did finish this card for my class on March 11th.
It's right here in TN, at The Scrap Room.
These new Send It Clear Cards and so fun, I love them!
I used the Pink By Design stamps and the class will be 3 cards
total. Just check out yestetday's post to see the other 2.
I am hoping the fields are dry enough to practice today,
my boys are itching to get outside. It was nearly 80 yesterday but
not without the price of tornadoes.
I grabbed the kids from school at 11am.

Ok I am off to clean up and check the field...
Have a beautiful weekend my friends. ♡♡♡♡

Sassy Farm Fresh Chickens!

Good morning my amazingly talented crafty friends!

Can you believe it is the last day of September?
Tomorrow is World Card Making Day and Momenta is hosting a
special blog hop (don't forget to stop by).

Have you been to Tally Scrapper lately?
I am playing in the Survivor challenge and this week's challenge
was to use the October Afternoon line names as the title.
I chose the name "Farm Fresh" because it fit perfectly with
my chickens....I wish I had more eggs photos I would have added them too!
It was so much fun I decided to also use the October Afternoon
5 & Dime line as well as some old Sassafras Lass I had in a box
I actually did alot of cutting on this one, I hand cut all the circles and
made the cardstock button on the side. Then I added the doilies
from an old Tally Scrapper Kit.
You know it felt so good to just sit down and play with paper
no pressure just play for a while and decompress.

Hopefully today my boys will go back to school?? But I am not
sure just yet...it won't really matter because Fall Break begins
tomorrow. A week of mommy fun! LOL

Oh and my 16 yr old (who turned 16 literally 1 day before)
asked me if he can start dating. I can't afford to date my own husband
let alone pay for his dating! LOL
Oh this should be an interesting road....I see a long path ahead! LOL

Ok I am off to get ready for the weekend...Happy Friday!!

~Preserving Baby Memories~

Good morning!!! :) I have a fun layout to share today.

Tally Scrapper had a fun challenge for Survivor which was to use
a picture of socks, a pair of socks, or a word in the title Socks.
So I used baby socks on my layout and the title.
What a fun way to keep those baby socks! :)
I used alot of Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket,
My Little Yellow Bicycle, and even American Crafts
It's so funny because when I bought socks for my babies I thought they would
fit the first 3 months, and be so cute BUT they only fit about 2 weeks LOL
That was a shocker with my huge boys LOL :)
Anyways I had alot of fun with it and it preserves our family memories for
years to come!! :)

Had a bad day yesterday, took the boys to the Dr. yesterday and both
my boys have Walking Pneumonia and double ear infections.
It's going to be a hard week ahead. I feel so bad for them :(
If you have an extra prayer please send it my way! :)♡♡♡

~Happy to Scrap Saturday~

Happy Saturday my crafty friends!

I am so excited, I found out yesterday that yes..I will be teaching in Cave City, KY
again this year! I loved it last year....I had 200 students and it was a blast!
If you are anywhere near Cave City, go sign up! An ENTIRE day of scrapbook classes
4 full classes and lunch too! See the Upcoming Classes tab above for info.

Ok on to scrapbooking right? LOL
It will be up on March 1st at 8am central time.
I sure had fun with this kit. I often speak about my family and I love
waking up early and cooking fresh eggs for the boys for breakfast.
It's such a small thing but I wanted to scrap it anyways.
If nothing else, when I pass on the boys can show this to their kids :)
Or maybe I will be able to share with them if I am still here.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE October Afternoon and this kit was full of it!
I also used my Glue Arts *of course* LOL
And I even found an old Maya Road mini album page (the house)
to paint and use rub-ons with.
I wish I was this creative all the time LOL
DON'T FORGET about yesterdays D-stress GIVEAWAY! :)

Oh and I added a BUNCH of new product to the Tally Scrapper Store!
The box came in and I was so excited, like Christmas!!

♡I am off to spend the weekend with my boys♡
~Have a beautiful day, thank you for popping by~
