~All About The Kids!! V-Day Love~

Good morning my friends, 

I have a fun little project to share today, that is completely from the heart!

I received a letter from my son's 5th grade teacher last week,

it was labeled "Parent Survey". The entire 5th grade class has

decided to have the parents make just ONE special Valentine for each child

that is handmade from the heart.

Of course I couldn't just send a note on the pink construction paper

she sent home, so I decided to grab my fun Jinger Adams

pre-cut cards, and use my Scraptastic Kit to create this special Valentine! :) 

 I know it's not for the cover of Creating Keepsakes or any other magazine

but I sure hope my little 10 year old loves it as much as I adore him! :)

~Tag Mini Album~

Good morning my friends!!

I hope your Labor Day weekend was amazing! :) 

We had the most fun this weekend with friends, and heading into Nashville. 

Anyways...first of all I want to share this mini album, then I will 

tell about Nashville. I made this fun Tag Mini Album using the new 

September "Noted" Kit from the Scraptastic Kit Club.

Basically I took some chipboard I got from my friend Jennifer Priest,

and I trimmed it out into tag shapes (just using my scissors)

After I covered each page using the kit. 

 I used my Zutter Bind-It-All to create the album.

I had so much fun making it and this is the kit I used.

Now onto the weekend, we went into Nashville (which is rare) and

went to a restaurant called "Dick's" which is where basically you pay

to be insulted LOL It was inappropriate for me to post on my blog

very adult. The food was so so but it was a fun experience none-the-less. 

Cannot post the photos because they were a little graphic, but

The waiters did say Strawberry Shortcake pooped on my head...

that was funny LOL

Then (since it was next door) we went to Coyote Ugly...

totally not NEARLY as nice as the movie LOL

Very ghetto and run down, but hey, when your next door you gotta go!

It was a fun time and I had a great time with friends. 

Monday we headed for a long lunch with friends, 

it was a great weekend, nice and refreshing. 

Now back to reality!

~Happy Easter w/Cricut Imagine Purse Card Holder~

Good morning my crafty friends and a very Happy Easter to you all!

We are spending the day as a family with a lovely lunch and

just spending time together. Maybe hiding some eggs! :)

Yesterday we had a little birthday party to go to,

so before the party I whipped up this little Purse Card Holder

with my Imagine and the Imagine cartridge "Imagine More Cards"

I LOVE this cartridge more than I thought I would! LOL

I used my Glue Arts Extreme Glue and some My Mind's Eye trim

along with some Imaginisce flowers & American Crafts Rosette trim.

It was really fun to make and the perfect

"Birthday money" holder for a little girl. :)

This is the back, I ran the trim all the way around.

I am so pleased with the Imagine printing and cutting for me.

~Preserving Baby Memories~

Good morning!!! :) I have a fun layout to share today.

Tally Scrapper had a fun challenge for Survivor which was to use

a picture of socks, a pair of socks, or a word in the title Socks.

So I used baby socks on my layout and the title.

What a fun way to keep those baby socks! :)

I used alot of Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket,

My Little Yellow Bicycle, and even American Crafts

It's so funny because when I bought socks for my babies I thought they would

fit the first 3 months, and be so cute BUT they only fit about 2 weeks LOL

That was a shocker with my huge boys LOL :)

Anyways I had alot of fun with it and it preserves our family memories for

years to come!! :)

Had a bad day yesterday, took the boys to the Dr. yesterday and both

my boys have Walking Pneumonia and double ear infections.

It's going to be a hard week ahead. I feel so bad for them :(
