Pastel Spring Card- Stamping Fun With AA

Well HELLO Friday! I LOVE YOU...
I need Friday this week, how about you?

I had fun stamping in pastel colors with the new
A Latte Love stamps from Avocado Arts and a 3 color ink pad.

For this card I wanted to stay simple and let the stamping pop
so I used a simple white linen card then added  Little B Notes
on the bottom that I trimmed off then just stamped my heart out! :)
Beautiful set of stamps.

Happy Friday friends!!! Thank YOU for stopping by.

Hello Summer...Goodbye Summer...

Hey there friends, can you believe it? I blogged
TWO day in a row with a project!

I used a clear acetate frame from Simple Stories and cut it down to
fit the bottom flap, then added Liquid Pearls to the half scallop.
I love the beachy theme and feel.
I was going to use alcohol inks but I loved it the way it was...
the only thing I wish I had was some Mudd Puddles sand to add!
That would have been perfect!
That's it for me, don't forget the SW blog hop tomorrow!
Happy Tuesday friends.....

Patriotic Pin From Scratch!

Hey there happy Monday friends,

I am so excited about the newest June kit from Creating Made Easy.
I created so many projects with it, including this Patriotic Pin I made.
In every kit you will receive instructions to make this cool pin.
Just using the kit and couple items from your stash.
(alcohol ink, scissors, ect.)
I love how it turned out and so much fun to make too.
I used my Xyron Clear Hold Adhesive to mount it as well.
Check out the kit- it's ONLY 29.99 for members and that includes the shipping.
It's great deal and perfect for those upcoming patriotic projects!

My First Linnie Blooms Canvas Project!

Good morning,
I am so excited to share my very first Linnie Blooms projects
with you all today. This layout using the fun canvas pieces.
I thought I would share how I created this layout.

First I took the canvas pieces from Linnie Blooms and spritz them
with Smooch Spritz.
Then I trimmed out 8.5X11 and 8X10.5 pieces of patterned paper.
(Bo Bunny).
I layered them and ran them through my sewing machine- stitching
the banner on and stitching on the layout itself.
From straight to zig zag stitches.
I stitched this sticker onto the spritzed pocket piece as well.
Then I matted the photo and layered my paper pieces onto the layout.
I added a few of the coordinating stickers and popped up
a few handcut paper pieces. Then I added some yellow Liquid Pearls.
I think the Linnie Blooms canvas pieces add the perfect beachy feel.

Now you can find my project on the LB blog and on their websites here

glittery inside this week! LOL

Hubs worked 70+ hours and we had a huge weekend with baseball
beginning and the kids...just too much to even share! LOL

~DIY Cupcake Stand Fun~

Good morning my friends,
I have a fun random project today that I just made because I am
in love with this die! My friend Eileen Hull has amazing designs for
Sizzix and when I got my hands on this one I died a little bit! :)

It is a Cupcake Stand & Pennant set, and I totally used the same stand
die to create this card and used the pennants on the card itself!
I ran the Cream Mat Board through my Sizzix, then did the same thing
with the papers I wanted to use. Then simply adhered the paper
to the Mat Board and assembled!
It was so easy and fun, I am glad I tried it! :)
I did not have a cupcake on hand (shocking I know LOL) so I created a
faux "lace cupcake" instead.
Here is the card I created using the same stand die.
I just cut two and viola!
Of course I added tons of Liquid Pearls.
Such a hand set to have on hand.
Oh and the paper is a combo of Pink Paislee and My Mind's Eye.
I love to mix and match patterns.
I also dropped these Matte boards through my 5" Create A Sticker Machine
from Xyron- man it made applying the paper easy!
Anyways I love the set, cannot wait to make more! Maybe
if I am super ambitious, I will make enough for a party....or maybe I will just
print photos of them and tell them what I was too tired to make LOL
One or the other!!!

Happy Tuesday my friends, and special thanks to Eileen, such a talented designer!

**Big Prizes!!** Samantha Walker Blog Hop- Mini Album + Digital Layout!

Good morning my friends, it is the second Wednesday of the month and
time for another Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop!

Today the prizes are CRAZY AWESOME! :)
So hop and comment all the way!!
Samantha is giving away a Free Cut File & a set of Spellbinder dies...WOOT!

For my projects I made this Vacation Mini Album using the
paper and dies from Samantha Walker's new line for Creative Imaginations
called Nautical and my Zutter Bind-It-All for the binding.
I love the feel of the line and the stickers.
I kept trimming out little pennants and stapled them to the pages like bookmarks.
I added a bunch of Liquid Pearls.
The colors were such fun, made me feel so nostalgic.
I also used the Spellbinders SW Dies for the stars & anchors on the cover.
In the Bind-It-All O'Wire binding I used some Twinery Twine.
I love that I can bind my own books now!!

For my second project all you digital fanatics! :)
I made a digital layout using the new Samantha Walker Digital Kit
called Retro Road Trip, such a fun kit!
Now that's it for me today! :)

Off to the next blog....
the next blog is the amazing AJ Otto, you will love her...

~Think Happy Thoughts-Acrylic & Crystal Sun Catcher!~

Happy Friday to my amazing crafty friends,

I created a fun new project to share because I have the privilege
of working with Connie Crystals and amazing crystal company.
And Clear Scraps, a great acrylic company, and of course
The Scraptastic Kit Club (which provided the paper and embellishments)
I decided to combine to three for a beautiful sun catcher wall hanging.
I started out with the Clear Scraps Scalloped Square Album, I took
a page from it. Then I scored and cut, and cut...and CUT the middle out!
LOL It was alot harder them I anticipated, these things are sturdy!
I stapled the Connie Crystal Sun Catcher into place,
then I added the paper frame from the PB&J kit.
I also dug out my add-on from last month's kit the Ruby Red
Liquid Pearls and dotted all over.
I cannot wait to hang this on my wall, I love the fresh look for summer!
They will have a new website up soon with full instructions too.
Plus the amazing Scraptastic Kit Club and Clear Scraps, they all are
wonderful companies with purpose.

Happy Friday! :)

~Birthday Card & Baseball Begins!~

Good morning my friends!!

Whew what a Monday!! :) I have this card to share today, I
had fun mail Saturday from the Scraptastic Club, and snuck in a few
moments of crafting in between Fed Ex, UPS, running errands and
not one but two baseball practices (the first ones)
How adorable is this kit?? I love it!
I am in love with the colors too! So fun. Right up my alley.
I love the twine and liquid pearls too.
I hand cut the flower from the paper, I love fussy cutting.
Baseball season has officially begun, I won't have any time except
kid time. I even missed dinner with a bunch of friends last night.
It was worth it to get the first practices done, but I forgot over the
winter how much time it takes.

Ok I am off to the store to grocery shop, then maybe tan these
pasty white legs a little before skirt season pops up.
HOPEFULLY I can come home and sneak in some crafty time
for my next class at The Scrap Room in Mt Juliet in a couple weeks!
Wish me luck my friends,
thanks for popping by~ See you next time.
