**GIVEAWAY** Floral Sun Catcher Blog Hop!

Good morning friends,
welcome to the Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop and GIVEAWAY!
If you enter today you will receive a FREE SVG cut file and there's a giveaway
for a paper pack too! :)

My project today is definitely spring themed,
I created a Sun Catcher using the Free File that is going to be given away.
Here is the file. :) And here's how I created it.
Cut the Samantha Walker file with Silhouette Cameo cut it twice in
two shades of pink using Card Stock.
Run doilies through Xyron  9" Creative Station, rub and peel.
Press against each other- and rub to ensure adhesion.
Also set it just slightly off so each pink shows through other side.
Using jewelry post- layer through crystal and flowers-
poke through doily and repeat on other side.
Fold and cut post.
Add crystal sun catcher to bottom and tie twice.
Add Liquid Pearl all around set to dry and repeat on second side.
Thread top with pearl strand or ribbon.
That's it! A beautiful Sun Catcher that's perfect to brighten up your window.
Now go enter to WIN and grab your free file!

The blog hop will begins on Wednesday 04/09 and you will have to comment by Sunday, 04/13 at 11:59pm MDT in order to be eligible for the free SVG/Silhouette file as well as the prize...which will be the 12x12 Giddy Up! Girl Collection from Carta Bella
The next step on the blog hop is Diana Fisher

Fun With Embossing & Xyron-Last Minute Gifts!

Good morning and Merry Christmas friends,
Just one more day until Christmas Eve and if you are like me you might
just be prepping last minute gifts for friends.

I have a couple ideas for you!
Number one these fun jars of hot fudge sauce (HOMEMADE)
that I decorated using crystals from Connie Crystal and my Xyron for the
sweet tags (with CutCardStock, and Ribbons Unlimited).
And how about a little bag of candy with a homemade card for those
co-workers and friends. I used Crafter's Companion stamps with these
inexpensive little bags to create a handmade a heartfelt gift!
Of course my Xyron took care of the adhesive!
Here is a photo tutorial for the rest! :)

I had fun heat embossing this stamp and just making it fun and easy.
Now I take a couple days off for family- so Merry Christmas friends!~ :)

Vintage Mini Album + NEW TOOL! *Xyron* (of course!)

 Good morning friends,
After a couple days off for the flu I am back in full swing with
this mini album! YES mini album that I created using my favorite goodies
and a NEW TOOL! I know many of my friends check my blog for
new tools because you know I will tell the truth!

So let me tell you about this project and in the end I will
review the new tool from Xyron.
This mini album was created using a Clear Scraps acrylic sheet, Clear Scraps
flowers, Ribbons Unlimited Ribbon (isn't  it amazeballs ribbon?? I LOVE IT!),
You can see it easily stapled through this ribbon and the acrylic (love that).
Don't you think this Ribbons Unlimited Double Face Satin Ribbon just
makes this project? I love it so much. I really had fun with this one.
I literally took stark white paper flowers from Clear Scraps
and Smooch Spritzed them and inked them until they looked like this.
I crumpled them and mashed them into these.
The buttons I added using Xyron High Tack Dots.
The ribbon of course is Ribbons Unlimited-
It was a fun project to create and I loved using these photos I took.
I love the floral style Tim Holtz papers.

So what do you think? A good one?? :)
Ok now on to the TC Xyron Stapler-
First of all you know I design with Xyron- but I never lie on my blog
if I didn't want it here, I don't care- I wouldn't post it.
BUT I love this dang stapler! Seriously it is nice and heavy duty
and it works well! So- it's amazingly better than my 1.00 stapler LOL
It's easy to use and my hands hurt so I appreciate that!
It's pretty- durable and...it's PINK...can you go wrong?
The answer is NO! I say- totally worth it and I don't have to go buy
any special items - it works with my staples, love that.

That's my 2 cents- hope you enjoyed my post today- Happy Friday~
