YOU Are Pear-fect....

Hey there friends, another fun project using Avocado Arts
newest stamp set! I kept it soft and spring like, because I was feeling
soft and mushy I guess LOL

Happy Thursday friends... :)

Card Making Fun!

 Hey there friends,
What a week so far- being iced in the house with 3 crazy boys.
I have been having fun creating as much as possible.
Including these fun themed cards using the new Creating Made Easy Kit.
From this kit, I made an entire mini album (6" Teapot)
and 4 cards and have plenty of pear left for more projects! :)
I loved playing with the Sewing Embellishments included.
I wrapped the spool of thread in twine too.

My Very FIRST Avocado Arts Post! :)

 Good morning my crafty friends,

It is my FIRST official Avocado Arts blog post and I was so nervous!
Yes, even I get very nervous. :)
You know 1 year ago I didn't even make cards and now I am designing
for a fantastic stamp company!

The new JULY stamp collection is incredibly fun, it is called Bold Celebrations.
Here is my project....

Make sure to check out the rest of the teams projects today,
 and the AA blog/FB page/website.

Plus head to the other AA projects!

~Birthday Card & Baseball Begins!~

Good morning my friends!!

Whew what a Monday!! :) I have this card to share today, I
had fun mail Saturday from the Scraptastic Club, and snuck in a few
moments of crafting in between Fed Ex, UPS, running errands and
not one but two baseball practices (the first ones)
How adorable is this kit?? I love it!
I am in love with the colors too! So fun. Right up my alley.
I love the twine and liquid pearls too.
I hand cut the flower from the paper, I love fussy cutting.
Baseball season has officially begun, I won't have any time except
kid time. I even missed dinner with a bunch of friends last night.
It was worth it to get the first practices done, but I forgot over the
winter how much time it takes.

Ok I am off to the store to grocery shop, then maybe tan these
pasty white legs a little before skirt season pops up.
HOPEFULLY I can come home and sneak in some crafty time
for my next class at The Scrap Room in Mt Juliet in a couple weeks!
Wish me luck my friends,
thanks for popping by~ See you next time.

~Going Green For Christmas~

We all want to recycle, upcycle, and re-use...
When Purple Cows asked me to come up with quick
holidays ideas, I went back to when I first begin scrapbooking
I love covering old CD's, remember when all the internet
companies sent out millions? They don't as much anymore but
I still have tons of old CD's to recycle.
They make GREAT gift card holders to hang on the tree.If you want the step by step on these, check out
the Project Sheets on the Purple Cows blog!
You can easily make these for yourself!
I am using mine for the teachers this year,
sticking gift cards in for photo developing or anything
else the class might need.
~Thank you for stopping by today!~
~Happy HOLIDAYS to you and yours~
I wish I could bake you all goodies and mail them out
Today I begin the platters I make for all the neighbors,
fudge, sugar cookies, snicker doodles, chocolate chip cookies,
rice crispy treats, and possibly home made bread too!
Oh and the ever present Banana bread as well...
I love Christmas and the baking!

~Have a great Friday~
~Love to all~
