Art...Pinky Style That Is...

Hey there!
It's Monday and I am in my craft room but before I share my projects
from this week, I wanted to share a project I created a couple weeks ago.
This canvas I altered.
For the canvas itself I spray painted it with Krylon Gold paint.
Then I painted over it using the Clear Scraps Spiral Dots mascil
with pink Krylon paint- I know it sounds like an odd combo but I love it.
Then I took some paper and my Xyron Adhesive Dots, and I created all
these flowers. They are Samantha Walker Cuts- with my Cameo.
(The butterflies too!).
After that I glittered the Clear Scraps Frame, used my Xyron Teresa Collins
Adhesive Kit to adhere the glitter.
Then I took my Connie Crystal strands and hot glued them on the canvas.
For the word ART I used Maya Road Chipboard and I inked it with
Clearsnap copper and Teal inks to make it look rusted.
Then when I was completely done I misted the project lightly
with gold and pink paints.

I love it. It was fun to make and very therapuetic!
Happy Monday friends! :)

Always Fly...Creative Art Canvas Project

Good morning friends,
Is it already September 2nd? Where does the time go?

Anyways I have a fun canvas project to share today- it is a
I don't create canvases often but I really do enjoy making them.
For this one I used Smooch Spritz which I spritzed in graduated
colors- them to mute it I spray painted it lightly with regular almond color
spray paint. I love how effective it was.
I thought I would stamp the canvas- so the paint was a great way to
stiffen it up a bit but I ended up stamping the vintage lace and
Then I added Liquid Pearls and Ribbons Unlimited ribbon to the canvas for pop.
Also because I wanted some different texture I added Hambly acetate paper.
I really am happy with the end result- it was a fun project! :)

Now you can find my project on the LB blog and on their websites here

~Art Canvas: She Understood The Need For Change~

Good morning my crafty friends,

I was busy creating yesterday and stopped for a bit to make this canvas.
I don't make many canvases but I was totally inspired by the
new Clear Scraps Expressions, so I just jumped in and did it.
I used the Pink Paislee She Art collection and I actually
made a full tutorial which I posted on the Clear Scraps blog

Sometimes it's nice to make a canvas to cleanse the heart a little bit.
I love the words on the die cut package in the She Art package.
"She understood the need for change" is so true. Life is all about change
and amazing opportunities that change brings.
You never know what is right around the corner and who might be waiting for you :)

Now I am off for a BUSY day with Archery, Baseball, work and more!
Happy Thursday my friends!! :)
