Stencils, Stamping, Embossing, And Spray Paint!

Well hello Monday, it feel like Monday.
I have a few projects this week but I will start with this tag I created
using Avocado Arts Stamps, Krylon Paint, and Clear Scraps Mascils!
I really had fun with this new AA stamp set.
I loved pairing the colors. It's been a crazy week.
Have a beautiful Monday friends! :)

I Think I Have A Spray Paint Problem....

I just went back to WalMart yesterday because I ran out of my 3rd can of
Krylon Metallic Gold Spray Paint...I think I have issues. LOL

I love the gritty graffiti feel of spray painting my projects, and using
Mascils or Stencils with them, what can I say?
For this Clear Scraps Word Frame I used the Love You Frame, Drangonfly Mascil,
and Metallic Gold + Krylon Turquoise spray paint, trust me my hands are covered and so
are my leather cuff bracelets LOL Oh and in the letters I used Kaiser Craft papers.
I don't know honestly it was just art therapy for me, it's been a rough week!
Happy Tuesday friends and GOODBYE (EFF YOU) 2014! hahahaha

Not Xyron But Should Be! Map A Lamp!

Hey there!
This week I was inspired by the Xyron board on Pinterest
Not Xyron But Should be- so I thought I would TACKLE this
Map Lampshade project....

After a few fails (on my part) I finally got it! LOL
First of all I could not find a vintage map anywhere and trust me I looked!
So I decided to distress my own map using Spritz in brown and a light
dusting of gold spray paint because I wanted it shimmery too.
After it dried I crinkled it a bit because I wanted an artsy textured feel.
Then I cut it into 9" strips.
I ran the strips through my Xyron 9" Creative Station
(which by the way EVERY home needs one!)
I then peeled the clear plastic adhesive film off and tore the
map into strips and applied. I did it in strips because #1 I could not find a straight
lampshade. #2 I wanted more texture on the shade.
I actually love the textured result- very artsy! :)
What do you think??
It literally took me an hour when I got it all figured out.
Happy Friday friends~

Art...Pinky Style That Is...

Hey there!
It's Monday and I am in my craft room but before I share my projects
from this week, I wanted to share a project I created a couple weeks ago.
This canvas I altered.
For the canvas itself I spray painted it with Krylon Gold paint.
Then I painted over it using the Clear Scraps Spiral Dots mascil
with pink Krylon paint- I know it sounds like an odd combo but I love it.
Then I took some paper and my Xyron Adhesive Dots, and I created all
these flowers. They are Samantha Walker Cuts- with my Cameo.
(The butterflies too!).
After that I glittered the Clear Scraps Frame, used my Xyron Teresa Collins
Adhesive Kit to adhere the glitter.
Then I took my Connie Crystal strands and hot glued them on the canvas.
For the word ART I used Maya Road Chipboard and I inked it with
Clearsnap copper and Teal inks to make it look rusted.
Then when I was completely done I misted the project lightly
with gold and pink paints.

I love it. It was fun to make and very therapuetic!
Happy Monday friends! :)
